  1. If someone actually did something that could cause harm to one of the players in real life, then the moderation staff would definitely be in charge of dealing with it. There's simply no need for PZI and EZI because any offense worthy of those punishments would be dealt with promptly.
  2. You need the moral high ground as much as you need your nukes. No amount of strength that you can currently muster is going to save you if you continue to tread upon so many people.
  3. The moral high ground? You lost the goddamn moral high ground when you killed half a dozen alliances.
  4. It's interesting to see such a referendum on the current state of things. Good luck NSO.
  5. I thought we disbanded... Oh man. I guess I owe you guys a Great War, then.
  6. NAAC wasn't around for Great War 3, nor was I, but I chose the option anyway.
  7. I'm pretty sure Schattenman has done more to open up the backrooms of alliance politics than most everyone on these forums. I think we can leave the clichés to you all.
  8. PZI and EZI are ridiculous. It's players stepping into the role of moderators. As to your proposal, it essentially makes one a slave of the alliance they've wronged. It would be better to die than live that way.
  9. You're right! NAAC and FAN actually had a shred of honor.
  10. I have seen too many threads and too many posters talking about the "invincible" Pacifican war machine. There are a thousand explanations given for the NPO's dominance. Their huge size, their military coordination, and their control of the treaty web are constantly spouted as reasons for their indomitable state. The power superstructure is non-existent, despite the perceptions of the vast majority of posters. Our current state is far more fragile than most people care to imagine. The most powerful leaders tread lightly in hopes that they will not be the ones to cause its destruction. Stop complaining about how Pacifica "owns" the game. It doesn't.
  11. It has been a long time.
  12. The STA has earned a reputation of an alliance of honor and fairness. How does the STA's tech raiding policy fit in with this perception? Where do you see the STA's policy on tech raiding going in the future?
  13. Absolutely. Vertical integration is the way to have a successful military organization, although it depends on having active members. I also enjoyed your take on civic duty.
  14. I hear there's a road outside of beating the mostly inactive members of the large alliances to death. I understand why you fight, but I choose a different method. And a different outcome.
  15. Good luck STA. It's nice to see a treaty based on friendships and mutual respect rather than political convenience.
  16. Explain how any of these alliances have any connection to the current ruling body. Please, I'm waiting.
  17. Show me where having a shred of honor and respect for your allies makes you weak and I'll agree with you.
  18. Option Five: Honor your treaties, keep them few, make your true allies and friends your only partners, and stand for something more than your own survival.
  19. I agree. Good luck in your endeavors Ivan, from what I've read about since I've been gone I see that I might appreciate your style a little bit more than I did back then. Regardless, good luck with your alliance, and I hope you succeed. Just don't ZI my nation this time and we'll get along great.
  20. This isn't even the issue. Jipps doesn't understand that TSO doesn't have the moral high ground. There's no honor for them to defend.
  21. Their "freedom" as an alliance? They left their membership in the dark about the entire leadership of the alliance leaving. They gave up on six hundred people because they felt like it. I'd be pretty damn pissed if I were MCXA. I have never seen a single unfair demand from MCXA in regard to this issue. TSO showed their previous comrades no respect and acted selfishly. It's a miracle that they're being let off for this.
  22. Some of us have done so in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Enjoy your pixels.
  23. This really isn't that difficult. TSO would not have a chance in a war with MCXA, so they offer reparations and an apology. Get it through your head that they don't want a bloodbath.
  24. So advocating the purchase of nukes is a belligerent action? Please point us to those evil doers hiding out in every alliance ever.
