  1. True, but supposedly for club teams rather than national teams. Perhaps each manager could put on their page which CN nation their Liga Mundo team represents?
  2. NATION: Killallippies RULER: Kowalski NATION LINK: Clicky NATIONALITY OF TEAM: (see list above): England
  3. I was in a queue, then assigned to Gumbo Gods and now my application has vanished altogether. Do I need to re-apply after 1/30?
  4. I remember seeing in a LM thread a while ago that there was a link to a guide to xpert eleven in a PDF format. Is this correct?
  5. MHA looks on nervously as Grämlins DoW Umbrella for recruiting their members...
  6. It does refer to SD Compostela and Stella Artois but I'm not a fan of either, I just like mixing team/place names and other words. Other team names include Farcelona, Chaosasuna, Fracasablanca and Bedlamsterdam.
  7. The Football Association of Killallippies (FAK) is happy to announce that they have applied to enter a team in the next season of Liga Mundo. The team will be Compostela Artois.
  8. The nation of Killallippies announce their introduction onto the international scene by taking part in the FIFOB Alliance Cup. While this is the first foray into international football the national ice hockey team recently put in a commendable performance in reaching the playoffs of the Transvaal Ice Hockey Cup. Literally tens of Killallippian football fans will be traveling Dragonia looking for an unlikely revenge against the host nation for the Transvaal Ice Hockey Cup defeat that sent the Killallippians home. While inexperienced on the international stage, Killallppies has an active if small national league national league. As well as providing nearly half of the national squad's players, Farcelona also represent Killallipies in the MHFA (Mostly Harmless Football Association) Superleague and there is also talk with in the FAK of applying to enter a team in the next season of Liga Mundo. The FAK have recently announced the final 21-man squad: Goalkeepers 01. Abe Tolley (26, Farcelona) 13. Greg Davies (32, Bedlamsterdam) 19. Matt Ray (29, Evertumble) Defenders 02. Dexter Harkness (26, Farcelona) 03. Jake Aldridge (31, Farcelona) 04. Ellis Coventry (30, Cavershambles) 05. Justin McDonald (28, Farcelona) 12. Stephen Dacre (27, Evertumble) 16. Tommy Nash (25, Farcelona) 17. Simon Wolsey (28, Bedlamsterdam) 20. Kevin Ilsey (21, Chaosasuna) Midfielders 06. Lenny Lovatt (32, Farcelona) 07. Adam Cassidy (27, Bedlamsterdam) 08. Andrew Sandford (28, Cavershambles) 09. Linford Carlisle (21, Farcelona) 14. Cosimo Mandelli (26, Farcelona) 15. Steve Thomson (24, Chaosasuna) 18. Julien Skinner (26, Cavershambles) Forwards 10. Dennis Scicluna (27, Cavershambles) 11. Kris Neaves (26, Farcelona) 21. Tom Quinn (21, Farcelona) Sportswriters throughout the nation have been fervently debating the line-up and the following is the generally accepted starting eleven: GK Abe Tolley DR Dexter Harkness DL Jake Aldridge DC Justin McDonald DC Simon Wolsey MR Cosimo Mandelli ML Adam Cassidy MC Andrew Sandford MC Julien Skinner FC Dennis Scicluna FC Kris Neaves
  9. At what point does it say you can't register, and what does the error message actually say? You should be able to register a new name whether you have an existing nation or not (although it isn't allowed within the rules of the game).
  10. Pigpen, I would strongly advise joining an alliance. Any alliance worth it's salt will have detailed nation building guides and a trade program to fit you up asap. If you haven't done so by tomorrow there's a chance that you'll be attacked by other nations as you'll have no protection. Check our the forum where alliances advertise here. As an aqua nation joining an aqua alliance will be more beneficial to getting your trades sorted out. I hear that MHA are alright
  11. When you view your nation page, have a look at the address bar. There should be a six-digit number at he end of the page address - that's your nation ID.
  12. So it's just a cosmetic difference based on your level of tech?
  13. You can try to get a proper explanation but I don't think they have the facility to bring back deleted nations so you'll have to start again anyway. Sucks.
  14. If you want to push it then you should be safe on 19 days and the at any point on the 20th you'll be deleted. I'm guessing because of your name that you're in the UK, what time did you check it yesterday?
  15. I checked in-game and your nation isn't there. I guess the best you can hope for is an explanation but I'd get re-rolling now.
  16. I didn't see a sign-up thread for this season?!
  17. I believe there's is a penalty of +0.1 on your environment for every nuke you own, and any increase of your environment score will have a negative effect on your nation's population happiness and population count. Oh, and there's the economic penalty of actually having to pay for the nukes as well
  18. Interesting question, I'd never thought about that. Someone should compile an unofficial list of advancements based on tech and infra levels. Something like: 10 tech - your people have mastered the art of using a manual can opener or 1000 infra - all your inner city roads are paved and flat. Not me though.
  19. The act of a nation attacking another with ground attacks only in order to gain tech, land and money. Usually followed by an assurance that peace will be accepted if offered (but no reparations will be paid). Unless the raider is missing a brain cell or two it is restricted unaligned nations or nations that are members of alliances so small that they are recognised as valid targets in the attacking alliance's charter. Nations on the red team are also not an option as the entire red team is protected by NPO. Some alliances ban tech raiding, most allow it and some of those actively promote it. Generally tech-raiding nations do so at their own risk with no guarantee of alliance back-up if it all goes pear-shaped.
  20. What kind of acronyms? Alliances? Treaties?
