Can someone explain the Pacific ZI policy in plain english? 1. You can't force the destruction of a ruler 2. What if the nation never reaches ZI? 1. What constitutes reasonable, this is an arbitrary value. 2. Traditions such as holding GATO hostage for so long and the permanent war with FAN? 3. Should the ruler reject said reasonable terms and reroll, what then?

On my most recent survey of small alliances, Vox qualified =D But didn't you guys used to have like 2M NS and hundreds of members..... Hard times

I'd say any alliance not in the top 200 and therefore not significant enough to be recognized by the game, but still here and working to move forward.

Feel free to drop by on the grounds that A. This isn't a try and get small alliances to merge with you channel B. This isn't a find a small alliance to tech raid channel I know that Sparta is more honorable than that, but just want to set some ground rules for the big boys.

I think for a first night and already getting the chance to talk with 4 micro alliances, some of which have been around for over 6 months that this will be a successful venture that will result in benifits for all involved. I've already sent word to the 50 or so 4-5 man alliances out there and I hope to get in touch with many more as this conference continues through the week. With luck some new friendships can be formed and a previously under utilized sect of the game might find they aren't so alone. I'll make updates as the week progresses.

I would like to extend warm greetings and salutations to the micro alliances that dot Planet Bob. My Name is New Reverie and I established an alliance called IngSoc almost a year ago. IngSoc was successful for a time, but like many alliances before and many after we have become what most classify as a Micro Alliance. On a recent survey I have come to find that there are potentially hundreds of Micro Alliances in our world. Many suffer from tech raids, others from inactivity, but there are also quite a few that have established protectorates and limited governments. I am taking the time to write today as part of an effort to unite the hundreds of disenfranchised nations that for one reason or another have chosen to enlist in this niche group. Apart we form many different ideals, strengths, and weaknesses. But we all share our ability to thrive in adversity, political skill in establishing protectorates, and strong independence. In an effort to get to know my brothers and sisters across the globe I would like to establish an IRC channel just for us. #small_alliance on coldfront. GGA likely would have perished by now if they were not a tick on the soft underbelly of the NPO during Bilrow's tenure. GATO on the other hand has always been their own alliance and been successful. Their only real failing is falling into disfavor with the NPO and getting attacked (for terrible causes: 1. CK reroll <> CK, some leaked IRC log with no real threats) and subjected to increasingly severe surrender terms.

Yes, as I recall he told one person OOC, which spawned the problem. However that person was essentially forced to oust him because if it was found out that he knew (he was gov of another alliance), then it would be likely that his alliance would have been rolled similar to the CIS situation. Duffman also had done nothing IC to give up his character. Even tho at the time Duffman was not in that alliance, there was enough petty grievances for the NPO to trump up some sort of CB out of the situation. In the end they got rolled by the NPO for some other such thing and subjected to the humiliating surrender terms which have become a standard practice of the hegemony. Either way it doesn't change the story, Duffman was forced out of the game for entirely OOC reasons, an old IP was used to confirm his identity.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw a CB come from your alliance that wasn't in some part based on lies, OOC, and petty grievances, perhaps that is because your leadership and those allied with it are more concerned with maintaining their death grip on the mantle of power that they have so meticulously constructed through the suffering, debasing, and enslavement of others. You and your leadership and those allied with your leadership have fallen so far off the deep end the lack of oxygen must be affecting your brains. The amount of animosity you've managed to create towards your little clique is simply staggering given its short existence. The most absurd thing about it all is that if you are ever defeated, I can believe that the victors would be gracious. It is a point of honor that you and yours will never hold.

Untrue. I recall Duffman tried to return to the game almost a year ago. He used a completely different name and persona. He was found out via IP address and other OOC means and forced to quit again. Personally I hope he is still here playing in some form.
