As numerous people before me stated, this boils down to Coalition Warfare (someone go make a doctrine while we're at it) and it's completely absurd to not think something like this was going to happen sooner or later. For those claiming the "how dare you attack with no CB," if you'd like I would happily outline the treaty chain that would have been necessary for this to happen but that doesn't change the fact that Sparta is at war with NV.
