  1. We probably won't see eye to eye on this. In TPF we got rid of the idea of banks entirely. Every single nation should have the proper war chest to be able to aid out to other nations, if it's needed in war. This idea of tech banks is entirely new to me, I would argue that it's more important to invest there time in buying tech at a much earlier stage (around 3k - 4k infra) and be a productive member in your alliance during war time. I don't want any nations in my alliance to be merely superfluous, I want them to be good quality fighters, and in order for that to happen you must have a balanced infra:tech ratio. (OOC: I may try to clarify this point a little more tomorrow, It's been quite a day. Good night)
  2. In war the lower tiers don't mean anything, It's the upper tier nations that win wars. These NPO nations that sell tech for years and years are hindering there alliance in war time. They could easily have been WRC / EMP wielding nations by now. But it's to the benefit of the upper tier nations that these guys never become tech buyers, so why would they say anything?
  3. Most of my opponents have had WRC so we're pretty even as far as improvements and wonders go. The problem is that NPO is so infra heavy. TPF pushed to get a 1:1 infra / tech ratio for years and many of us reached that goal. So it's really not a competition... and it comes down to the effort we put in building well balanced nations, not any kind of magical fingers. I have no idea what you're referring to and I've been in this alliance since 07.
  4. I'm very sad to see this. I wish everyone in STA the best of luck.
  5. Wow, serving in gov from 2007 to 2016... That's a huge commitment! We've had regular members (like me) stick around for close to that long, but we haven't had any contentiously serving gov members in that time.
  6. I've sort of been tracking it using Lyrical, although I don't think the data is 100% accurate. But it's probably close enough. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_CBn-1JNfCE6LzmdAN9hPzDtdeb7Dfhw_b9wsZ1Z83k/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=356035862
  7. Yep I'm going echo MP on this one. I'm not sure I buy the notion that we were that inactive. Especially going back to 2010 or so. I mean isn't that when we signed the red fire pact with ya'll? We were the first to sign with you when you got off terms.... That's not inactivity. But if we can come back a little closer to the present for a moment... In the past couple of years there were two treaties that you guys signed without giving us any notification. Ya sure you can argue that you notified us of Umbrella, but you sent our EO a message on your own forums a day or two before it was signed... Gov members in TPF check our forums daily, and when we are having active conversations with NPO we would check your forums daily as well. The communication was always there... It's just that at some point NPO started treating us more like meat shields than friends and our opinions stopped mattering to you. I also want to point out that about a day or two before ya'll signed with DT, one of your gov members was telling us in our embassy that NPO always gives a weeks notice of new treaties and that there are discussions that occur between current allies. We found out about the DT treaty when it was posted on the owf. But that was due to TPF's inactivity right? But I will agree with the last few posters in this thread. We should have ended the treaty years ago. Unfortunately I was one of the guys saying that we should keep you around. But, don't any of you dare say we weren't the best allies you ever had for a long time. Understandably it hurt to have the treaty canceled, then attacked just a few months later. That was a phallic move. I guess in the end it doesn't matter. I always said that I liked NPO because they brought us good wars. Well, luckily you still are.
  8. NPO lead the charge against us in the last war, the had the most offensive wars against us than any other occulus member. We never meant anything to them. Other than just being another meatshield.
  9. It's going to be ok Raven. Just take a few deep breaths.
  10. I doesn't matter what I tell you. You've already figured out what you think to be the "truth." This thread has already pretty well covered our intentions. Most people have figured out our intentions on there own, they didn't have to have a "few people" tell them. But you and these "few people" seems to know better than the rest of us...
  11. We don't need to clarify anything to you.
  12. Agreed. But that would be to much to expect out of NPO. They already have there lackeys declaring on us.
  13. You're probably reading from the original MADP. I suppose it doesn't really matter at this point. I've already argued on here longer than I intended.
  14. Again, more revisionist history... We had a non chaining treaty.
  15. The debate we had internally was which one of our allies should we support in this war. We saw that NPO was having the most difficulty in there war and that our other ally would come our relatively unscathed. So we joined the war in defense of you all... Following this decision the other ally that I mentioned declared war on STA, and we had half a dozen or so allies attacking TPF and STA. There was so much anger over this war on the TPF forums, you can't even comprehend it. Now to see you here twisting it is infuriating. Perhaps you should read over some of your own governments opinions on our exit. I should also note, that we were under no treaty obligations to go to your defense. We did it because we were friends.
  16. Congrats Oculus. What a fine victory you got yourself here.
  17. Congrats MI6! You got a good bunch there TIO.
  18. Congrats on making it two years! I hope you had a good time tonight.
  19. We have a lot of lurkers, might surprise you actually. The best way to get a hold of us is on our forums. Glad to be working with MI6.
  20. Neo actually had some nice things to say about us getting involved in that war if I remember correctly (sorry to blow your cover, Neo) Nah you're just misinterpreting, conistonslim has it right. It happens to the best of us.
