*W_A_R grasps at his throat with a look that suggests a combination of horror and astonishment.
"Who is trying to poison me!" he splutters. "I said single malt scotch, not this blended rubbish!"
Placing his glass on the bar *W_A_R signals to the now quaking barman. "Bring me a PG Tips, drop of milk, NO sugar, and do it NOW!"
The barman scampers off to fill the order.
*W_A_R turns his back to the bar and surveys the scene. He fixes his best smile to his face and acknowledges several acquaintances in the cowd. A leggy brunette captures his attention. Her shiny mane reflects the subdued lighting of the teahouse. Long eyeslashes flicker. Her lips peel back to show off her excellent teeth. Her stature and stance suggested high breeding. Many men and some women eyed her jealously. *W_A_R decided that he must have her. He walked across the room to the object of his desire and whispered quietly. He caressed her neck and then stroked her rump. He had to have this horse.

There was a time, back in my young days in Vijar, where we would deal with habitual recidivists in a 'less than humane' manner. I am far older now, and I have managed to cobble together some shreds of mercy; but it remains in very short supply.

I extend my congratulations to the successful candidates in the recent elections. Those candidates that were not so fortunate will no doubt have much to contribute in other ways to help the long term prosperity and security of the Greenland Republic.

I demand that this Alliance of W.A.R. makes appropriate compensation to me for the spurious misappropriation of my name and good reputation! Using periods in place of underscore is a laughable exercise in disguising the theft.
A monthly licence fee of 500 tech is considered benevolent under the circumstances, along with appropriate recognition everytime a public announcement is made using MY name!

Off topic - Is it only me, or do others find the above image slightly disturbing? I have heard that Josef Thorne has the bedroom model; what he uses it for can only send shivers of fear through the faint-of-heart.
On topic - I always though of Dilber more of a minor deity type, Pan for example.

Ah, but Derek, there is a thing to be said for Quality over Quantity.
If popularity and support was measured by the number of post one makes...... well, dare I point the finger to those who post because they enjoy feeling the words rush over their palate more than making a salient comment.
This however, does not suggest I consider Smallfrog to be a member of that group.

It is times like this when I feel the urge to toss $3million (or part thereof) to all of the participants just to see what would happen. Thankfully I have had gentlemanly manners thrashed into me so I will observe the folly as it unfolds without any of my manipulative interventions.

I offer my sincere sympathies to The Phoenix Federation during this time. Being a nation on Digiterra provides several sources of enjoyment -
Nation building on Digiterra itself;
Fellowship, political intrigue, participation, etc on these very forums; and
Fellowship, political intrigue, participation, etc on one's Alliance's forums (or another Alliance's as the case might be).
Depriving others from the enjoyment of these activities (other than by means that which is considered within the bounds of acceptable behaviour), is a cowardly and dishonourable act.
I hope that TPF can identify the culprit(s) and exact appropriate compensation.
