May GOLD continue to live in our memories as what she was and not what she became.
It is nice a few still remember old W_A_R (He is absent from any mention in the GOLD wiki, which might reflect the true level of involvement he had in the Alliance.

*W_A_R stumbles with the large garden parasol, straining his shoulder and tearing his linen trousers at the crotch. In his endeavour to retain his balance (and some level of dignity) he swings the parasol in a 180 degree turn, in the process collecting several waiters. He reverses the turn, careens through some tables and chairs and at the conclusion of a series of hops, gently rests the umbrella so it shades LadyDakota.
I must say that was far more difficult than I expected.

I believe the Australians lost to the Pakistanis, with their captain out with injury from the game. That means they need to beat Ceylon to qualify for the semi-finals. It makes an entertaining competition this twenty/twenty stuff, but it is nothing on the tactical and subtle elegance of a test match.
