1. It sounds to me like the LSF has already made the decision to go to war. If I were INT, I'd fill their slots while I still had some un-anarchied nations. Why sit around and wait for someone to hit you when they've already declared (rather unambiguously) their intent?
 2. Cheers to INT and NATO. You two have always battled each other with class and honor. Don't let the bickering from us third parties change that. -Craig
 3.
Thats exactly what I mean. Name a war in which your own alliance has not scored reps simply because your allies would fight them if they didn't. That's in every war with every alliance. I hope you guys don't fight like you think.
*SIGH* Ignorance masquerading as cleverness. The one and only war in which INT collected reparations was Karma. Maybe someone from Pacifica still has the figures, but it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 7500 tech, I think. I believe we also demanded that NEW pay the former Dark Fist nations who were unfairly brutalized. If LSF needs reconstruction aid after this little affair is over, I'm sure INT will be willing to provide it, either at the barrel of a gun or from the goodness of their own hearts. -Craig
 4.
Welcome to the fray INT, now we get to make LSF the biggest commie alliance, and that makes me happy
LOL. You and what army? -Craig
 5.
When I saw your declaration I thought about do some propaganda against you, but your alliance is a joke in itself so I wont bother doing it.
If you can't come up with anything, just be a man and admit it. The fact is that INT has defied every attempt you've made to categorize them. It just doesn't fit. Please. Give up. Now. -Craig
 6.
I hope LSF declares on you all.
We're in complete agreement on that point. -Craig
 7. Happy 4th, comrades. Now go blow !@#$ up. -Craig
 8. NEW is still alive and kicking after all these years. You can criticize their diplomatic and/or political skills, but there is something about them that still makes you stop and stare in complete awe of what you are witnessing. Not unlike a mountain, or a river, or a hurricane, earthquake, tsunami. The greatness and weakness of NEW are inseparable. -Craig
 9. Hmm, not sure that any cares, but I'll jump in on this, too. LSF (Libertarian Socialist Federation): 2007 - 2008. Not sure when I joined. Sometime after my nation was founded in late April. ZI'd during the NoV-LSF War, and blacklisted by NoV to boot. Got bored, followed my buddy Marshal Tito over to SPQR. SPQR: 2008. Stayed a short time. I don't remember anything about the alliance, except that they were nice enough to resist GPA's demands to expel me so that I could be punished (I believe the sentence was ZI, but I could be wrong). My crime? During my tenure in the LSF, a member apparently shared GPA's war guide on our forum. As the LSF had no formal government, it was deemed that all LSF members were equally guilty. The fact that I had never seen any guides nor was I even aware of their existence was deemed irrelevant to whatever GPA kangaroo court that convicted me. Got bored again, followed my buddy Marshal Tito over to CPCN. CPCN (Communist Party of Cybernations) and INT (The International): 2008 - January 2013. I count this as one stretch. INT was formed in January 2009 when CPCN merged with post-Silent SE (Socialistic Empire) and most of TRF (The Righteous Fist). I held various gov positions in both alliances. I'm also skipping over a 30 day stint in MK (I ragequit after losing an election, but came crawling back). Highlights include the INT/LEO assault on NPO in Karma and the NEW-DF War (Arexes was nice enough to credit us with escalating that one, and I happily plead guilty-as-charged). Got tired, headed over to MK. MK: My present and my future. Outside of INT (obviously), perhaps the greatest alliance ever to have graced Planet Bob. I can think of no place I'd rather spend my twilight years. Nothing but rest, relaxation, and shuffleboard, interrupted only by the occasional nap. -Craig
 10.
me and my people were ready to go to hell and back for our allies
It's a darn shame you came back. -Craig
 11.
But plenty of mercy for fascists, right?
When you say "fascist," you're really trying to say "Nordreich." So let's not speak in generalities. My grudge against that whole crew was based around their treatment of the LSF back in 2007 (when I was still a member). LSF had no well-positioned allies (and was basically a rag-tag collection of social misfits more than an alliance), while Norden Verein (NoV) was connected to a degree that meant they could act with impunity against us. And they often did. Looking back, I now recognize that we antagonized them at least as much as they did to us. NoV, along with it's Hanseatic League allies (FEAR and Nueva Vida) waged a particularly dirty war against us that involved, among other things, the sabotage of our forums... Forums that I loved... Forums that were the heart of out community. It was our history (and my history!) and we lost it. It's highly probable that the sabotage wasn't directed by NoV, but by individuals who were either sympathetic to them or who wanted to provoke conflict between us. It doesn't really matter. Deceptive screenshots were leaked. By today's standards, they were tame. But they were used to launch a war of extermination against us. In the process, myself and 4 of my comrades were put on a blacklist. I fought them to ZI. I'm still proud of it today. My "left" credentials are untouchable and my pedigree is pure. For me, the grudge ended when TPF waged a successful war of extermination against NoV. The Communist Party of CyberNations (CPCN -- my alliance at the time and originally formed as an LSF splinter, but eventually became home to more former LSF members than the LSF itself) was denied a meaningful role in that war, and that was a disappointment (we did get to defeat the Armenians, though. Anyone remember them? LUA? Something like that). But nonetheless, NoV paid for its crimes. Over and done. Frankly, it's pathetic that leaders of certain nations continually want to resurrect a rivalry to which they were never a party... And then claim it as their own! And then they have the audacity to criticize people who were actually involved... for not being sufficiently supportive of this retarded agenda! Anyone who has had a serious conversation with me on this subject knows that I wanted INT to have a positive identity. I did not want us to be defined solely by being "against Nordreich." I think that to a large degree this was successful. Your constant ankle-biting is proof of this success. I know that you are impervious to logic and that this honest explanation will not affect your opinions. But I do hope that some random person who hasn't drunk the LSF koolaid might read it and understand that this is a nuanced and complex subject. INT won the ideological war. The LSF tail will never again wag the INT dog. And if your friends over at the LSF decide to turn the ideological war into a shooting war, the International will grind them into dust, no matter how many other alliances pile on. I have absolute confidence in this. -Craig
 12.
Wow. You're a piece of work aren't you.
No mercy for class traitors or counterrevolutionaries. -Craig
 13.
Congrats on abandoning another ally!
Let me clear this up for you: you were never an ally, you were a colony. -Craig
 14. From my cold, red hands

 15.
I agree with everything you've said but in all fairness it was in World Affairs at first.
Sorry, I fail. I didn't realize it had been moved. Apologies to D34th. -Craig
 16.
People always try to blame someone else for their mistakes, isn't never their fault. [OOC]This is what you accomplishes for taking this game too serious, I hope this serves as a warn for everyone else who does the same thing.[/OOC]
You've gone too far, friend. Don't kick people when they're down. It's petty as all hell. [s]Also, this is an OOC forum, so lose the lame tags.[/s] In my time dealing with him, Chax has always been a straight shooter. I don't give a damn about logs, I don't give a damn about "evidence." I trust my judgment, and he's a decent guy. You !@#$@#$ vultures ran the guy out because you want find conspiracies where there are none. You dumb kids think you're all goddamn Dick Tracy, but none of you have any clue. I'd love to record your conversations day in and day out, looking for inconsistencies. Get a life. -Craig edit: corrected because of "evidence"
 17. I think that violence in a society is a reflection of the values of that society. Our society does not value the individual in a real sense. Sure, people (and especially Americans) love to praise "individual rights," but that's a cop out. It is difficult to get help for mental disease, not just because we have severely stigmatized it, but also because we put up financial and social barriers. We don't prioritize it. Cure the disease, don't attack the symptoms. Gun control is an authoritarian response to a social problem. We need more hospitals, not more stupid laws telling us what kind of grip we put on our gun, or that our barrel needs to be a half-inch longer. And by the same standard, militarizing our society is a terrible idea. Once they put armed cops in every school, they'll start finding other uses for those cops. I don't want to be stripped searched every time I pick up my kid from school. That is neither progress nor safety, it is the death of civil society. -Craig
 18. I disagree with WC's post (respectfully, as always!). I've always felt that a "casus belli" and the war to which it belongs is largely a subjective matter, that can (and should) be spun to one's advantage. We do ourselves a huge disservice by linking the roleplaying aspects of the game to the mechanics of gameplay. Aggression is always going to be a gray area, and that's a good thing. Objectivity is boring. -Craig
 19.
Friend Luchenkov, don't mistake me calling BFF's and INT's !@#$%^&* out as a disappointment. If we wanted to release some pressure we would just have declared on NEW.
And had you done that, my NG target lists would not have been a waste of time. -Craig
 20.
As far as SOS, you never gave two !@#$% about them and left them out to dry when we were the only ones who were willing to stick our necks out for them, so whether you canceled the treaty sooner or not is irrelevant since you would have never honored it in the first place.
The absurdity in this thread has become entertaining again. There's an aspect of human psychology at work here. I wish I had studied this in school, because it's very interesting. My recollection of the SOS days is that I was constantly going to bat for them. This was back in the LEO days, when FOK was an alliance and iFOK was on a tighter leash. Back then, we had an established pattern for resolving the petty garbage... When iFOK provoked a crisis, we'd go to FOK and they'd tug on the leash, and iFOK would back down. When SOS was being ridiculous, someone would come to us and we'd do the same. At some point, SOS began to see my constant intervention on their behalf as a right, and they became more belligerent. I no longer could control the situation, and I actually had my own alliance to run. I wasn't in the business of playing superman for every oppressed nerd. [ooc]Yeah, I get it. The japanimaniacs were being picked on because they were an easy target, and eventually they developed a siege mentality, and they behaved stupidly, and the world is bully, and it seized upon their overreactions to blame them for the persecution they were suffering. But defending them became a full time job.. And maybe you've noticed the world tends to hate commies, too, and I had my own alliance to worry about. So we cut them loose. Deal with it. I have no regrets. I'm only one person and I don't get paid for this; I do it for fun. Suck it.[/ooc] -Craig
 21.
Neither of these announcements should come as a surprise to anyone, those who signed with NEW did so because they wanted a fearless "ally" it is a shame that those that needed them when they were in trouble are not as fearless as those they signed with.
Meh, redacted. Too much adrenaline.
 22.
hey, welcome to the club NEW. Us and LSF are glad to have you.
Are you arguing for INT or against it? Because you just put yourself in some pretty unreliable company there. -Craig
 23. This is has now moved from absurd into retarded. Anyone with a brain, feel free to hit me up on IRC. -Craig
 24.
>Thread has nothing to do with LSF >Thread involves Int >Thread is about LSF we thank you LSF, because every thread Int makes in the future, LSF will be mentioned. Guaranteed entertainment on the owf.
INT and the LSF are essentially family, and no treaty cancellation or ill feelings can change their DNA. This family is the only legitimate representation of class struggle on planet Bob. They often had very different visions of socialism on Bob, and these differences have led to some serious internecine feuds, the latest of which exploded over the Nordreich/IRON fiasco. But all should understand this: the causes of this estrangement are rooted in the debate over tactics, not in treaties or "pixels." It has always been about how the future should look and what the so-called CN-left's role should be. I personally believe that INT's vision has been proven superior and that the rest of these "leftists" should fall in line behind the Party. Strength, prosperity, and stability come through unity. If every INT announcement pushes this debate forward, then INT should make more announcements. The International should welcome each engagement as an opportunity to bring their wayward comrades back into the fold. -Craig prettied it up a bit
