  1. Obligations to Polaris? Uh, okay, and we didn't even get to touch them... she said she was 18 though.
  2. From who? GR? Really? Lawlz. And let's be honest, we didn't start it either To say that tC isn't beneficial at all to Sparta is a lie tbh, but to say that Sparta needed it for the protection is pure hokum.
  3. In the house of the rich man, there's no place else to spit,... but on his face. I believe GtG's "insults" were appropriate at that time and was warranted. Even if they're perceived as one. Point me in one direct intervention where Sparta is saved from utter destruction because of Q's intervention please. Protection? Oh please, we aren't even considered as a serious alliance, we don't have that much enemies that does pose a serious threat. Meh, then again traitors and heroes are just labels given by the ones who wrote history which happen to be the victor's side.
  4. I think he won the thread and also, his motives are questionable
  5. Seiferguy? Dammit why didn't you tell your other trade circle partners you ran away to red
  6. Ooooh, grounds for swift deletions if it's the latter. Isn't that rite Mr. Conrad? And I think, before anyone else in the OWF sees the cancellation from Sparta, the Continuum and the NPO governments already took notice of our stance months before hand. Maybe since they've begun to question the company we kept. Whether or not this is true or false, let's just say that,... ZOMG,... on topic, we won't be gloating or showing pride on how we captured the second or the first position (maybe) on the sanctioned list. But I do take pride in seeing how well Sparta organized her members even during a major conflict like this. Like the other guys said, we're just proud being who we are and where we are.
  7. There are tons of reference out there to help you start planning
  8. Nah, wartime stats are bloated stats, real spots are definitive a month after the dust mostly settles.
  9. Welcome to Black, we are more accepting here than that damp fungus infested place. We rock so much we have more trades than in there
  10. If the mods would please move this, I'd be grateful. Or lock it down, so I can make a same one at the suggestions board.
  11. I'd listen to this man, he has great foresight.
  12. 1. I think the NPO deserves a letter of thank you, rather than them making an apology. CN radio was interesting, the OWF is interesting, the IRC is bustling. 2. Ditto, OV too. 3. Errr, weren't this the thing that Karma wants to avoid? Well I dunno, maybe some reps, but not that extravagant. 4. That depends on what their talks. 5. Nope, I'd rather do mine internally within my own alliance. I digress it's not like "Karmic" and "Hegemony" related nations never done tech deals with each other before this. 6. Cancel? NPO can say what they want, but after this, I doubt about enforcing it, even if they're going to cancel it, probably on the account for necessity rather than forced. 7. Eh what? No, sovereignity and independence requires you too stand up for yourself. 8. Whu? Something to replace tC? With less harsher terms? Wut are you on about?
  13. Hai thar,... I wanna discuss some game enhancement idea I got because of the high levels of GRL. I was gonna put in the suggestion forums, but I thought it was too raw of an idea, so let's see how it flies with you guys first. The basis of the ideas is that this is a game that also boasts interaction between players, and a simulation of a global society, why not make something that we can all work together besides bashing and nuking each other (which is also fun). GLOBAL EFFORTS The idea is to clean up the radiation by donating money, tech and soldiers (manpower). Each nation can donate to this effort by sacrificing their foreign aid slots and send the aids to some sort of a server side committee or something. When a certain milestone of money, tech and manpower has been reached the GRL drops a point. Or, there could also be Global effecting wonders, ... like I dunno, a space elevator? It'll give certain bonuses worldwide, sounds too game breaking? Oh yeah we could also put in a bill for it, a noticeably large fraction of the building cost, but still requires the effort of nations (plural) to pay for it's upkeep. Paying upkeep of course can be done like building it in the first place, by sending aids. If the bills aren't met then the wonder will start to fail, then after a few failures, be destroyed, and must be built from scratch. Why aid slots you say? So that the building will take some time and effort,... not just by sending your billions of warchest in a single day, like you do when you buy a regular wonder. Didn't I say that the objective was too add more interaction between players? ALLIANCE PROJECTS Like the global efforts, but this is like an alliance specific wonder. Who wouldn't want an alliance wide economic or military bonus? Oh and too add more intrigue into this game, rival alliances could spend resources to sabotage the building in progress, but besides money and tech you also have to sacrifice spies to halt or slow it's progress. There could also be a sanctioned alliances only Super Projects, that requires your alliance in the sanctions list to built, and you must be in that sanctioned list for your alliance to keep it. Otherwise it'll fail like if you don't pay for it's upkeep. Yeah pretty far fetched, so, what d'you think about?
  14. And I hope this proves that Sparta were being nice to you guys. Besides, there's no reason we can't be civil, is there?
  15. Meh; 1. Surrender ? I don't see any near future plans for them to surrender, which is good. 2. Even if they surrender (and admit defeat, no more "we the Great Patriotic War the second" or whatever and practically smear their "unblemished" "undefeatable military record), let's say, they were let off with just a slap on the wrist, rebuild their forces and goes around and try for political dominance again. Great,... seeds for future lulz, drama and great wars. edit: minor fixes
  16. This holds some truth to it. We are warlike, but not to the extent of punishing others and ourselves beyond that is necessary.
  17. Good thing Karma's will doesn't come from just an alliance then?
  18. I thought the consensus has been already agreed upon on Karma War? On both sides of the perspective, one looks at it as retribution, and the other looks at it as a struggle against the rabble mob which called itself Karma. Pretty neutral imo.
  19. Errrr, I maybe on the other side here, but isn't teh Moo in nuclear anarchy?
  20. It's ill advised to feed the gremlins at,... wait,... it's still daylight,... carry on
  21. Nah, I was talking about the massive irrational "ZOMGs MORALITY SCHMORALITY!" Okay, you don't accept the terms, you accept the terms, you hold grudges against the people who accepted the terms, you claim to be patriots, you claim to be dragged, okay it's part of the political landscape of ugh... Planet ... Bob. Makes me wanna wring someone's neck when I see "so this is how Karma actually works",... Karma don't work that way.
  22. A way out has been given, more lenient than history would've retold, ... accepting or not said terms are your choice, just don't accuse the victors as tyrants because of the choice you made.
  23. Any black or Aqua team alliances,... probably Sparta, MK, MHA or Fark, depends on the nicest recruitment spam tho.
  24. Mmmm,... Scenario; The Hegemony is defeated, runs back to lick it's wound but nonetheless still have the necessary resources and manpower to come back again, but due to war time tensions splits into a several little blocs of power. Karma having won and it's purpose served dissolved into their respective sphere of influences. NPO, beaten but still a powerhouse and a major political player consolidate their power into a new power bloc, Karma and ex-NPO alliances consolidates into rivaling powerblocs, but due to differences in worldview, does not become the single force of nature called Karma again, instead becomes two different blocs that has a signifying most common denominator among it's member alliances. The Three Powerblocs rivals each others, waning and waxing in power but never enough to topple one another, if one faction goes too strong the other two will try to counter balance one faction. All is well, there'll be times of peace and building, as well as good fights to fight. ... then the each leaders of the original faction dies out because the grow tired of managing their alliances, slowly but surely the powerblocs faded,... along comes Sima Yi's grandson, Sima Yan and founded the Jin dynasty... ummmm... ignore the last part.
