There comes a time when a nation must be tested according to it's integrity, it's pride in both itself and allies, and the willingness of a people to honor such a commitment even when the possibility of thousands never coming home is all too real. It is with this in mind that the Holy Imperium of Mankind hereby declares war on all nations warring against the United Netherlands, as per our MDoAP treaty with Normandy. May the Imperator have mercy on their souls.

*Classified Deployments*

The 80,000 soldiers combined with 500 tanks had never left the Empire of Krieg. They shifted north, moving into Normandy where they would form the core of the Imperial Expedition. Meanwhile, at Imperial Center orders went out to units already on high-alert due to the rising tensions surrounding Europe. A force of 420,000 soldiers and 3000 tanks mobilized from their standby status, streaming into awaiting transports and those Merchant Marines ships pressed into service.

In addition the various Assault Landing Craft and Carriers of the Holy Imperium embarked massive amounts of fighters for the long journey across the atlantic. Regular CAP coverage and ASW Helicopter patrols ensured the flotillas of transports would arrive at their destination unmolested to disgorge the Imperial Troops. The forces committed to the European Theater number as follows, not including various Infantry Fighting Vehicles and Artillery:

25 Bomber Squadrons

3 Carriers

2 Frigates

3 Landing Craft

2 Battleships

2 Cruisers

This force will be coded for allied purposes as IEF I, representing Imperial Expeditionary Force I.

Rakata again urges calm and pleads for the nations of Europe to see reason. Why must there be war in a world where peace is so badly needed? We are saddened to see the Normans in this conflict, but are pleased that they are merely acting in a defensive measure.

The Rebel Air Force was in a strange situation. Yes, some 80% of it's total forces were there, but there was a damned helluva lot of fronts to aid. At least strategic bombardment would be simple and easy to plan. The Vindicator and Aurora bombers would be deployed alongside Prussian aerial assets, assisting them in their strategic bombing campaign, to hit airfields and runways as fast as possible, so the Romans couldn't get airborne. Seventy-five percent of the Viper force would be dispatched to search for and destroy any Bavarian aerial groups that do get off of the ground, and thus indirectly acted as bomber escorts. The other twenty-fine percent would be deployed with the Orca squadrons, to protect them and to help with the ground operations.

The Orcas would have one of, if not the, most crucial tasks of all the RAF forces in Europe. They were divided up into three groups, Bayern Group (35% of total), Blitz Group (50%), and Balkan Group (15%). Bayern Group would be working with REF Bayern, providing invaluable reconnaissance information, tactical strikes, and general ground support. Blitz Group would have three words to fulfill; burn, maim, kill. They were to soften up the enemy as much and as quickly as possible. Air support is one of the keys to a successful blitzkrieg, and they would do the job. After decimating and obliterating large portions of an enemy formation, they would move on, leaving the few remnants to the advancing REF troops. Balkan Group would be supporting REF Balkans II, hitting hard targets and defenses, in addition to armour and foot soldiers. As the ground forces of the area were well prepared and equipped for the task, the group would be the smallest of all the ground support operations.

Three Dragonisian Amphibious Mechanized Armored divisions thundered across the Bavarian border accompanying the RA Blitz Group. They rushed up the river systems intent on surprising and encircling enemy forces on the river banks who were likely more accustomed to traditional forms of warfare.. overhead Imperial UCAV's, AWACs, Air Cavalry, Bombers, and Fighters provided a complete battle-space support and control unit. They were following the same objectives as the Rebel Army Blitz group and co-ordinating with their ground command. The commitment represents approximately 30,000 troops and 3,000 tanks.

Before the young Scandinavian leader was yet another of his lackey's rambling on about another series of statistics, pointing to a monitor with an equally meaningless series of notes and indicators. "Enough." He said silencing the advisor. "So we are essentially without a choice in the matter." He paused, standing up from the plush yet low seat at the head of the long glass table.

Devereaux stood and turned to the glass monitor which took up the entire wall. "Alice." The monitor cleared and the avatar of the Dominion's Compound Intelligence, the legacy of his father appeared. A sleek female brunette female, this time wearing a flowing red dress, and standing on top of the water in a what appeared to be a mountain spring. In the background was some sort of greco-roman ruin.

"Alert the military, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that we are now at a state of war with the nation of Bavaria and Finland. Draft and issue a formal white paper detailing the justifications, and the threat Bavaria and her allies pose. Finally give Stephens the green light to proceed with the invasion."

"Done." Devereaux nodded; as the avatar dissolved and the screen was again replaced. Sitting back down, he sighed and mumbled.

*Deployments & Movements*

Arial

Cruisers sitting in the Mediterranean just off the coast of Italy began accepting targets from the Osiris network's targeting ledger, said targets included air fields, weapons caches, military bases, fuel depots, defensive fortifications (primarily static defenses). Volleys of missiles were fired high priority targets were assigned multiple missiles to ensure destruction.

B-37 Hawk Drones already deployed prior to the declaration began also accepting targets from the ledger, making use of their spike missile systems.

Ground

2100 Mechanized units and 10,000 elite infantry (Royal Marines) began the initial invasion on the Dalmatia/Bavarian front. 100 Armored Tank systems and 1500 Mechanized Infantry pushed moved forward leading the invasion force with 500 mechanized infantry watching the flank of the advancing armored waves. Following were the first and second corp of the Dominion vanguard forces (200,000 heavy infantry).

Dragonisia has the border garrisoned.. the Empire is not recognizing a ceasefire, but is not actively firing on Slavorussian forces. They will only be fired upon if they attempt to cross the border or send aid to Bavaria where our troops are currently fighting. We do welcome this interlude as an opportunity to speak and consider it a form of conditional cease fire.
