It's hardly an under achievement, the US team is awful. That pool was just ridiculously easy, and when the UK played so shockingly, it was natural that the US would go through.

The United States has already forgotten about it.

The US needs an international coach. That was some sloppy defense in the Ghana game.

Overachievement in the eyes of the world. We didn't get our @#$% handed to us in our pool, so suck it.

Ghana is actually not bad at all. Most of the players come from European tournaments (Italy, Germany, France etc.) They were a tough opponent (well, for the US at least) and it was no shame to lose to them.

Good thing the U.S. doesn't care.

The USA should have beat Ghana, that was really sloppy goal keeping. It's a shame really. On the plus side, at least they didn't go out in a 4-1 route like the English.

I'd say underachievement, if only because we never came out of the gate playing, really.
