NBA Free Agency. Is Lebron going to Chicago?

So free agency for the NBA starts July 1, 2010. But that doesnt mean people start talking about it then.

The 2010 free agency class is the top class in the history of the NBA. The list includes NBA champions, No. 1 overall picks, all stars, olympians, first team all NBAers, and more.

Here is a breakdown of where these guys may be headed, listed in order of most alluring to least alluring.

1. Lebron James

At the age of 25, Lebron still has no championship. He is looking to compile a supporting cast that can do this for him. A new report from an NBA executive states that Lebron to the Chicago Bulls is a "done deal" and that he is trying to lure Chris Bosh there with him.

I see why Chicago is appealing. Lebron could capture the city from Michael Jordan if he can ever win as many championships (6) as MJ did for the city. He could team up with the young and talented Derek Rose and could also lure a Joe Johnson or a Bosh/ Stoudemire.

2. Dwyane Wade

Wade has shown since 2006 he can single handedly lead a team to the first round of the playoffs. But since his championship in 06, Wade has known he needs help.

He has said many times he wants to stay in Miami if he can get a supporting cast. With the help of Pat Riley, Wade will most likely get the guys that dont go with Lebron. If Lebron wants Stoudemire and Joe Johnson, Wade will most likely bring in Chris Bosh and maybe someone like Carlos Boozer.

3. Chris Bosh

After Wade and Lebron, the rest of the free agents will fall into place. The Miami Heat have enough cap space to sign 3 max players, so if Wade wants Bosh, the Heat can give him a max deal. Not to mention that in Miami, Bosh can join two proven winners in President Pat Riley and player Dwyane Wade. Thats something no one in Chicago can say.

4. Joe Johnson

Johnson averaged 20 points per game for an Atlanta Hawks team that just wasnt mature enough to win. Johnson would be great on the left wing for the Bulls and Lebron on the other side. In 2009, they averaged almost 50 points combined. I believe Johnson is ready to team up with Derek Rose and will go to Chicago if Lebron goes.

5. Carlos Boozer

Boozer is the other power forward who might be able to get a max contract. He had a bad 2009 season so that seems unlikely with the Bulls or Heat. But if the Knicks, with all that cap space, dont get any A list free agents, they might offer Boozer a max deal. Or Boozer could be the big man that goes to either Miami or Chicago depending on which team Bosh doesnt go to.

6. Dirk Nowitski

Lets get something straight. Dirk Nowitski is the most underrated player in the game. He is a prolific scorer who needs to escape the Dallas Mavericks. But reports are saying he wants to stay. Thats why he is the 6th most alluring player, rather than the 3rd most alluring. If I was Nowitski, Id team up with Wade and Bosh in Miami.

I feel like Bosh is going to go with Lebron. Also, I wouldn't count Cleveland out yet. We can offer Lebron the most money, plus it's a city that would worship him as a god if he does win as a championship(I've already stated that when Cleveland wins a championship, I'll go rioting) I also feel that if he doesn't produce in Chicago, he'll get more of a backlash than he did in Cleveland. I also hope Bosh comes with him to Cleveland, but if Miami can get Bosh, Lebron, and D-Wade then can you say, "Dynasty"?

i will still be surprise if Lebron leaves the cavs. the cavs have shown that they are willing to trade and deal for good players. also a pairing of Lebron and D wade will NOT work. they both need the ball alot in there hands witch wont work well. still some good rumors on a sign and trade of bosh to LA lakers

But I think everyone outside of Cleveland and Chicago would love to see a Miami Heat team with Lebron, Wade, and Bosh. If those three guys care about winning they might all go to Miami but that is highly unlikely. Im not saying it would work and Im not saying they could beat the Lakers in the NBA finals, but heres what the Heat line up would look like then...

PG Mario Chalmers

SG Dwyane Wade

SF Lebron James

PF Michael Beasley

C Chrish Bosh

GOD OUR SPORTS TEAMS SUCK

I echo this statement... sadly :(

Also, I would hate to see Miami get all 3 of them. It would lead to stagnation in the league.
