Sgt Shidner
We know it has been a long time, but we have been dealing with some "internal problems" and we apologize. And to make up for it, we would like to introduce, for your buying pleasure, the M73A1 "Tiger" Main Battle Tank and the M57A1 "King Tiger" Heavy Battle Tank. PROJECT PANZERGRUPPEN -- M73A1 "Tiger" Main Battle Tank -- DESCRIPTION: The M73A1 "Tiger" Main Battle Tank was an project undertaken and pioneered chiefly by SMA's CEO Kevin Schidner. His interests in the German's legendary panzer divisions of the Second World War lead to this. He felt that the German juggernauts of old needed some modern day representation, and so began PROJECT PANZERGRUPPEN. The first half of this project was the M73A1 "Tiger", which does more than make its namesake proud. A study and battle-ready tank, the M73A1 is a MBT for any army. It is protected by the latest in Titanium/Tungsten armor, all 4 inches of it. Its slanted armor helps slightly in shrugging of anti-tank projectiles, but it is by no means invincible. To aid in this, the standard model includes the Phalanx RPG shield system. Each system is akin to a grenade launcher bank, only their projectiles explode in front of incoming missiles and the like, destroying them before they can reach the panzer. The Tiger's bite comes from its 125mm Smoothbore main gun which is quite capable of taking on any sort of enemy vehicles. But its hidden surprise comes from its turret-integrated anti-personnel missile launcher. This two-launcher weapon concealed within the left side of the Tiger's turret fires special AIM-90 "Hornet" Flechette Missiles. This are fired from the tank towards concentrated infantry groups and explode before reaching them, then spreading its 16 8-inch Tungsten Needles in a cone-shaped area, shredding any unfortunate infantry in their path. The Tiger has only seen trial areas and exercise courses to this day, but is sure to prove itself on any battlefield it is placed on. Like the Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B of the Second World War, it is a lumbering, heavily armored and armed war machine. The M57A1 lives up to its predecessor in the fact it is one of the most heavily armed tanks produced by SMA. The standard armament is a 140mm smoothbore cannon that can tear through armored vehicles as if they were paper-mache. The vehicle's commander is given a armored cupola from which to observe his surroundings as well as a 20mm Rotary cannon to use. This fast-firing, big gun can shred enemy infantry if they stray into its firing range. Individual King Tigers can be upgraded to use a special 175mm Demolition Cannon for use against structures and fortifications, a role for which this massive gun is well suited for. And if its enemies are able to get past its heavy weapons, they'll have to deal with its extremely heavy defenses. Sporting 5 inches of the latest Titanium/Tungsten Composite armor, with a layer of ERA armor to boot, the King Tiger is an extremely tough nut to crack. The King Tiger is also equipped with the Phalanx RPG shield which protects its younger sibling, adding to its formidable defenses. All in all, the M57A1 "King Tiger" is a vehicle that should be feared by its opponents and respected by its allies, it is a true battlefield beast. Unfortunately a young intern here at SMA lost your paper work and has since then been reprimanded. We were wondering as in relation to the equipment if you wish to update any of the vehicles included to more modern versions.
