My Name Is Romance

Yes.

It just did it again, and it went through a couple various links before settling on

http://www.kdirectory.co.uk/results.asp?qry=game%20that%20are%20free&rfid=lb0a1_60729-2139&bp=game%20that%20are%20free

It went to Google stats then an analytics page then a third fourth fifth and then that page.

It's done it on the forums here as well.

That sounds like it's something on your computer causing this to happen, then.

I would make sure to run virus/malware scans as soon as possible.

If you have other computers, I would suggest using one of them to test (although, depending on your security habits, those other computers could be just as compromised as that one).

Also, not all scanners detect all malware, and sometimes running malware can hide itself from said scanners.

And that IE does it too strongly points to your computer/wherever it gets its DNS from being the issue. (More likely your computer.)

I cleared my cookies and ran multiple spyware malware antivirus scan. Ran every scan my anti-virsu software would let me run on every file. Still happens. It hasn't been bad yet so i don't feel like doing a system restore but until then i'll just continue Xing the little annoyance.

I'm not a computer expert, thus take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

However, I think that some malware hijacked your browsers. The threat can be serious and you should definitely consider tackling it as soon as possible.
Do NOT do anything sensitive with that PC (e.g. Internet banking), and if at any rate possible use another safe computer (friends/work/whatever) to log in every important site that may have a compromised password, to change them.

I suggest that you go to Major Geeks, read their Malware Removal forum, starting (obviously) with their READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide. Then post there for help.
There are many sites like that and you can use another of your choosing/you're comfortable with/you've been suggested/etc.

While you wait for an answer, use some online scan service. I've used Trend Micro's Housecall in the past, with good results.

Another good idea would be to install and use Firefox, after having geared it with the most important security extension (starting with No Script). But this last thing can NOT substitute any of above.

I hope this helps.
