Mafia Wars: Yuktobania

The fall of the federal Yuktobanian Government has led to an increase in crime throughout the country, especially in the capital, CInigrad and it's largest city Okchabursk.

The Yuktobanian Mafia, the sole dominator of the Yuke criminal underworld had it's strength waning through infighting over the past few years, but has held it's grip over various criminal activities within the country.

But that was about to change after the Government's collapse. With the fall of the Yuke government, the influx of organized crime members and various other people coming in to Yuktobania increased exponentially.

These gangs came here for what many would come here for, be it to seek alliances, to gain new members or to dominate the Yuktobanian underworld, the last vestage of power left unconquered....

Alexei was sitting in the front passenger's seat of a 2004 GAZ Volga, armed with a PPSH-41 Sub-Machine Gun. He was part an escort being sent to protect a shipment of arms stolen from whatever leftovers left in an old Cinigrad Armory.

The Driver, Ilya Borodin, was more focused on the road, though he showed signs of happiness, he believed that the fall of the government allowed his group to do things that they could not do before, and the fact that they are the only group standing (their family was now allied with every Russian Mafiya family in the country) made him think of other plans.

OOC: Any group is available to come and intercept the shipment of weapons.

OOC: For the record, it's a shipment being transported down the road, the weapons are in a small truck escorted by several cars. To intercept the shipment you'd have to take out all the guards.

TUO, The United Organization. Notorious for their terrorist attacks on Great Lakes States. It was originally formed by a group of criminal organizations to combat the GLS government, which failed when they ran into financial troubles and had extremely poor field agents despite being able to partially control the GLS government with corruption and spies. Almost all of its original members were killed, leaving only a few alive. TUO reformed and attempted to launch a stealth war against GLS to enslave all of its citizens, which failed.

Ever since their defeat, they stayed quiet, avoiding public attention while earning large amount of money from businesses (they either controlled it or found some other way of getting the business owners to give TUO money).

They smelled the anarchy from Yuktobania and knew many Yuktobanians hated GLS. Maybe they can set up a branch there and use it to earn money and recruits for their next war against Great Lakes States.

Two large cargo ships docked in Darina's damaged seaport. They knew this was the area where the GLS military originally landed. Their plans?

1. Set up a base.

2. Repair the docks and keep control of it.

3. Take over another dock that the GLS military also used for their invasion, repair it, and demand money if anyone needs to use it.

4. Take over a local airport that was used by the GLS military and repair it.

5. Recruit new members and search for any supplies or equipments that the GLS military had left behind

6. Gain monopoly over trading in the northern part of Yuktobania and tax it, not too much to piss off everyone.

7. Gain control of businesses in Yuktobania

8. Spread into the southern part and monopolize the economy.

9. ???

10. PROFIT!

The cargo ships unloaded their cargo and the passengers using their cranes. After several hours of unloading supplies and storing them in an abandoned warehouse, the cargo ships sailed away.

"First thing first, this will be our base and we need to secure it so no -bleep- dares to steal our stuff." a TUO commander ordered as the rest of TUO members set to work.

After a few days of working, TUO's branch in Yuktobania had finish setting up their base in the abandoned seaport Darina and finished repairing it. They had also taken over another seaport and an airport nearby and even found some abandoned yet intact Yuktobania and Great Lakes States military's supplies and equipments. They discovered a huge bonus when they searched a warehouse filled with some of Yuktobanian military's weapons that they gave up after surrendering to the GLS military. Apparently the GLS military didn't have enough room in their cargo ships to take all of Yuktobanian military's weapons nor did they wanted them.

Now they can spread southward after securing their supply line.

First stop: Cinigrad

Ten heavily armed bulletproofed trucks loaded with supplies, equipments, and TUO agents was headed to Cinigard to set up their base in a warehouse after their spy reported it was empty. On their way there, they bumped into someone, a truck escorted by a group of cars, that gave off a visual message of, "I haz stuff that we don't want you to take." to TUO agents who were bored out of their minds.

The fleet of trucks split up and proceeded to block off the road from both sides. A TUO commander turned on his megaphone after stepping out of his truck and asked, "Hi there, wanna give us some of your stuff?"

Tony, Alexi and their newest recruit named Niklas were headed down the same stretch of road that Ilya and the TUO were on. "Hey, Tony, check it out, convoy." Tony diverted his eyes, grinned and sped up to intercept it at the crossroads. "Niklas, get the RPG out. Take out the cars on the right." (OOC: TUO cars) "On it, Mr. Reisse, sir." Tony sped up and stopped in the middle of the intersection, while the group of cars came closer. "Get ready to fire in 3....2.....1! GO!" Niklas and Alexi took RPGs and fired them off at the vehicles.

OOC: I'll let you guys RP the damage.

There was always an old saying in GLS, "If you screw with TUO without backups at disposal, they will screw you back.", apparently the gangs in Yuktobania never knew about it and just had to learn it the hard way.

"HOSTILES!" the commander screamed through his megaphone as he took cover.

TUO's three supply trucks exploded so violently that it tipped over two other trucks and everyone nearby was knocked onto the ground or was sent flying away. That officially pissed off TUO agents. The enemies that fired the RPGs received hundreds of bullets/pellets from machine guns, miniguns, .50 caliber sniper rifles, machine automatic shotguns (basically machine guns using shotgun shells), automatic shotguns, and assault rifles from the five trucks shortly after most of the TUO agents got back up and realized who opened fire on them.

Tony, Alexi and Niklas all yelled a blue streak of expletives while screeching away. "$*%^!!!!!!!!!!!!! They've got guns! Open up on them again! I want those %*@#!%&$ DEAD!" "You got it!" Narrowly escaping the bullets with a cracked windshield or two, Niklas reloads another RPG, aims then fires again into the TUO trucks. After only 5 minutes of frantic driving, the car slowly shudders to a halt. "THE &%^# IS WRONG WITH THIS THING?!!! NIKLAS!" Niklas jumps in his seat as Tony yells at him to chekc the car. After a quick search nuder fire, he yells back to Tony while diving into the car, "Flat tire!" Tony hits he steering wheel and says, "A flat tire. How... deflating." Alexi grabs an M1919A6, gets out and says "Let's mount an offensie, eh?" Tony and Niklas both get out and begin randomly shooting guns and RPGs.

Soon, dozens of L.A.W. (Light Anti-armor Weapons) missile launchers were brought out by TUO agents and they returned fire at the stalled enemy car.

"Stop them!" the commander yelled as TUO agents turned around, reloaded their L.A.W., and fired at the convey, avoiding the truck but attempting to blow its escorts, the cars. One of TUO's trucks also took off to chase down the fleeing convey, loaded with soldiers armed with miniguns and L.A.W., not to mention plenty of ammo to spare.

IC: Alexei looked on the side window and saw one of the TUO agent's fired the LAW's 66-mm Unguided Rocket at them, he said, once again in a panicked tone. "Illya....." But the level headed Ilya turned the car around the corner as quickly as possible, the rocket hiting the front of a resturant. However they were split from the truck at this point, and the truck is still made after the rest of the convoy.

"Don't worry, I know a way to get back at them." Ilya said confidently. Taking his Volga, he drove around the block and spotted the TUO truck chasing the weapons cache truck. Ilya quickly turned around and started tailing the TUO truck.

"We got idiots tailgating us!" a TUO soldier shouted.

"I wanna have some fun, them hiding in my blind spot is never a good idea." the driver said to himself as he released the accelerator, swerved to the right side, and then swerve to the opposite direction after pressing on the accelerator again. Since the truck was made up of two parts connected together with movable parts like the typical U.S. semi-trucks, when the front part of the truck turned to the right and slowed down, the rear side lagged behind. When the front part turned to the left, the rear side again lagged behind as it swerve from the right side to the left, capable of slamming anything in its path away.

To add to the trouble, two TUO soldiers set up their miniguns on the rear side of the truck, making it deadly to hang around behind it.

Ilya saw the truck trying to slow down and in response, slowed back to prevent them from being caught by the truck as they were swerving from side to side. But when the TUO operatives started manning their Miniguns on the rear of the truck. Ilya said to Alexei, "Hold on!! This is gonna be a bumpy ride!!!" Ilya swerved his car onto the sidewalk and started speeding up so he could get to the front of the TUO truck.

Yamaguchi-gumi [Yakuza]

Area: West of Cinigrad

Location: Sentai Tavern, Hinamizawa, Yuktobania

Honor was the key and primary focus among the group of men gathered in Sentai Tavern today. Why? Because they were members of the Yamaguchi-gumi, the only Yakuza group residing within the state of Yuktobania. Their numbers were only on the verge of 40,000 due to the small number of Japanese immigrants in Yuktobania. Regardless, their presence still held strong and they were known to be both brutal and effective. The town of Hinamizawa was in itself rather small, numbering at most 5,000. However, in this foreign region it served as the headquarters of the Yamaguchi-gumi, particularly the tavern.

Oyabun Shinobu Tsukasa sat down quietly in the back room of the tavern that was cleared off from the public. With him were Saiko-Komon (Administrative Head) Youkai Hikari, Wakagashira (First Lt.) Yoshinori Watanabe and Shateigashira (2nd Lt.) Kazuyoshi Kudo. Each of the three were Shinobu Tsukasa's direct underbosses and were obviously notable inside the family. Today they were gathered for more than one reason but the most important was to share sake together. The ritual was important to maintaining the organization's brotherhood, and keeping the men together for their common bond: criminal agenda. Nothing they did could be considered 'legal'. In fact, anyone in the tavern that saw the men walk in with permanent irezumi [tattoos] on their skin, and the katanas holstered on their belts would have bothered the gentlemen as they came in. Anyone who did would have received just and righteous punishment.

After they had finished the rounds of sake, a man named Takano Jun was dragged in by one of the organization's lower members. Jun was here today to suffer his punishment for ratting out one of their rackets to the cops. He wouldn't suffer in a normal demeanor, however, but would be subjected to an extreme form of yubitsume, where he'd have one of his fingers cut off as a reminder not to be disloyal. It was his first offense, so he wouldn't lose all the fingers on one of his hands. When the man saw the butcher knife come out that was to slice off his finger, he was frightened, anyone would be. Losing a finger was never a pleasant experience.

Tsukasa motioned for Watanabe to administer the punishment, and the subordinate handed him the knife. Without any resolve or emotion, he brought the knife down onto the crate where Jun's arm was being held. The man cried out in pain at the sight of blood pouring out of his finger. Tsukasa spoke the first word's of this thus far silent meeting.

"Take this man out, and ensure he dosen't cause us trouble again. Hopefully this will teach him a lesson."

Upon hearing these words, the loyal subordinate dragged Jun out of the room, kicking and shrieking in pain, and left the three men to return to the topic at hand. Tonight wasn't an ordinary gathering, but a matter of planning for the gang itself. These men wouldn't all gather in one place unless under extraordinary circumstances. Watanabe, putting down the knife, pulled out some papers and began to speak.

"Oyabun, as you've noticed their is a strange amount of activity coming from this road outside of Cinigrad, here."

He motioned to the map where the arms transport was currently heading and it's path was being expected.

"We obviously can't get specific routes, we aren't the ordering party of the weapons, but we can gain a good understanding of where we think it's going. Now, my view is that we shouldn't attack this and should let any other parties attack it themselves and suffer the casualties. Maybe a more direct approach near the end of the convoys route should occur. If that's the case, we can send a car or two of our men, armed, out to tail the convoy from a safe distance and maintain minimal sighting. What do you think?"

Kudo nodded upon hearing the plan, and Watanabe ended his words until the Oyabun spoke.

"Well, based on the information we have and the current armament we're stocked with, I believe it's possible. The approach you've given me would be effective too, and would lend us the best opportunity to strike any fools currently involved in the ordeal. They'd most likely be suffering from the fatigue of battle, and allow us a glorious chance. I want you to take the armaments in the box to my left, they're freshly acquired AK-47's and we've got enough ammo to probably have each of them should roughly 100 clips. That's in that box, alone. Load two of the black Mercedes with roughly four men each and give them the arms. Have them tail the convoy until here."

He pointed to the map.

"That seems like an adequate time to strike, do you understand me?"

All the men in the room nodded. The Oyabun had spoken, and so they would get to the plan.

Ilya saw the truck trying to slow down and in response, slowed back to prevent them from being caught by the truck as they were swerving from side to side. But when the TUO operatives started manning their Miniguns on the rear of the truck. Ilya said to Alexei, "Hold on!! This is gonna be a bumpy ride!!!" The miniguns on the side of the truck roared into life, spraying thousands of bullets per second at the car. It was an overkill, but the TUO soldiers prefer to see their enemy dying painfully for the lulz.

One truck was knocked over, another one sped off to chase after an enemy convey, and four trucks were destroyed. This was not in their plans. "Requesting a crane truck and four other trucks, along with escorts. We just got in a major fight with enemies and an enemy convey fled the area." the commander requested over his radio.

"Sending in additional supply trucks, a crane truck, an attack helicopter, and other escorts. Do not lose anymore trucks or men." was the reply.

"Yes sir." the commander replied.

They would have to wait until the crane truck arrives to pull up one of the knocked over trucks into its upside position before they can continue driving.

Alexei opened his eyes, he was bruised up pretty badly. But when he saw Ilya's limp corpse, he said, "Ilya? Ilya! F&%#!!! Who the hell do those guys think they are?!?" He looked around but could not find his PPSh-41, meaning all he had left was just a Flick Knife. He would have to report this to the Boss, his father Josef Makarov.

The TUO soldiers open fired at the weapon truck's tires, planning on blowing them out and stopping it for good.

As soon as the they blew the truck's tires. The truck crawled to a stop. The passenger, put his finger on the detonator's button, as soon as they could get enough people close enough, they would sacrifice themselves to eliminate the TUO's derailing of their weapon's smuggling.

The TUO convey truck screeched to a halt. A few TUO soldiers jumped out and walked toward the enemy truck with their automatic shotguns and assault rifles ready. One of them started trying to bust open the enemy truck's backdoor to see what was inside it.

As soon as the driver heard the back doors open, he said, "NOW!!!" The passenger pushed the button and the explosives lining the inside of the truck exploded. Although the driver and passenger were killed in the attempt, the 2 were certain in their last thoughts that at least a few guys would be killed in the blast.
