The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also released a statement saying that the nation formerly known as Bohovia is now officially a Blue Heaven protectorate.

[/b]Operation Righteous Thunder has been called off by the Prime Minister. The 1st-3rd Infantry Divisions as well as the 1st and 2nd Airborne and the 3rd and 4th Light Infantry Divisions are to return to their bases immediately.

In other news, Lower Parliament member Harry Hughes of the Utopian Progressive Party has been caught in a sex scandal, which is said to involve, himself, his secretary and a prostitute. Also the Delvina Video, as it is now being called, has been seen over the internet by thousands of Blue Heaven citizens. The video tells of the Delvina Liberation Front organizing to reform the Republic of Delvina. The government has said that they are keeping a "very close" eye on the situation.

In Parliament, they are in total agreement that Blue Heaven should get involved in the war.

[/b]Operation Just Cause is getting underway with the 1st and 2nd Infantry, the 1st and 2nd Airborne and the 2nd Light Infantry Divsion, moving into Blue Water, to then go into the US and help defend them. The Fort Greenback in Disparu currently houses the 1st Air Wing, they will not be recalled from their mission in Altaria, the same with the 4th Infantry Division.

[/b]Blue Heaven is now officially at DEFCON 1. The entire active duty military has been mobilized. AWACS are to be done 24/7 and the border patrol is on Red Alert.

[/b]Today, the Ministry of Finance announced that there would be a large investment in infrastructure over the next five years, as some major roads have gone into slight disrepair. Also the Ministry of Finance announced that it was going to set aside $3 billion annually from now on to help low income college students finance their education as well as give all students, no matter what class, access to federally subsidized loans.

With the reforming of Blue Heaven, the government has decided to take a different approach to its job. Roger Smith has announced his resignation from the Conservative Party to form a Progressive movement, which will mainly be grass-roots. The leading speaker in Parliament for the Conservative Party has expressed shock at this saying "While it is Mr. Smith's right to leave us, I do urge him to rethink his decision and come back."

In other news, Dorothy Smith announced that BH plans to start up diplomatic relations with neighbors such as the URSR and Pravus Ingruo.

It was announced yesterday that the entire 1st Combat Regiment of the 1st Airborne Division had been killed in a nuclear strike by Korea. The government announced that there would be a mass funeral within the coming weeks. This action has only fueled even more rage against the Korean regime and strengthened resolve for the war.

In other news, the Parliament of Blue Heaven has changed with the Neo-Conservative party sweeping the lower house for a majority of 300 out of 650 seats. The Conservative Party earned 100 seats, while the Utopian Progressive party earned 80 seats, the Green Party earned 70 seats, the New Wave Party earned 75 seats, and the Peace Party earned 25 seats.
