Lynneth
"After several hours of checking the history of Yamato, Korea and the entire region, we have come to the conclusion that parts of the terms are quite justified, other parts not. Singapore will for the time being, remain largely neutral, though we do hope that Yamato will at least apologise to Korea for the occupation of Korean territory. They should've checked their maps." MercyFallout
Private discussions mediated by Korea's great allies have progressed between Yamato and Korea. Details of an updated resolution have not been released however it is rumored that most of Korea's original terms were simply to put a heavy weight on the table of discussions. HHAYD
We find the first part of the terms to be extremely harsh. Forcing a large chunk of the government to commit suicide over a map error? That is insane.
Sumeragi
All signs of Yamato have been removed from Barado. We are waiting for the Korean authorities to come and reestablish their presence.

HHAYD
OOC: reading is your friend, friend. OOC: You mean this?: 1. All members of the high government of Yamato (including the current head and second in command) are to commit honorable suicide in following with Japanese tradition of a samurai saving honor in the face of defeat. Michael McBride
OOC: You mean this?: OOC: Wow... did you even look at his point? He was saying that the original terms were meant to catch Sumer's attention, and that the actual terms being negotiated will be less harsh. Try actually reading a thread before commenting next time. Maelstrom Vortex
The Dragon Empire is glad to see progress being made, we stay at a high level of alert all the same in the event talks deteriorate.
Subtleknifewielder
Long Range TIAMAT M-40 missile batteries have been moved into Korea (with/if they give their permission) from the Chinese Protectorate zones. The Dragon Empire has ramped up patrols along its coast. The Sea Crawler net that traditionally sounds Dragonisian India has been expanding to cover all Dragon Empire territorial waters... though is not intercepting any shipping at this time. They are loaded out with anti-radar, anti-ship, and anti-structure conventional ordinance packages. ***Message to Dragon Empire*** Stay the hell out of this war, please, if it indeed becomes a war. This has nothing to do with us, for one, and for another, a simple map error should not result in such conflict. ***Public Statement*** This whole affair is utterly ridiculous. It seems all sides were misinformed over small areas of land, and now nations are willing to kill and die for it. There should have been no need for negotiations in the first place, though we are glad to see such are taking place.
MercyFallout
The Imperial Office of Emperor Kim Kee Hyuk has present the following resolution to the government of Yamato. The Marado Resolution 1. Yamato shall acknowledge its fault publicly and also acknowledge its unwarranted hostile and imperialistic action against our nation. 2. Yamato and Korea shall hereby enter into a perpetual pact of neutrality. 3. Yamato and Korea shall begin an era of economic cooperation--specifically in regards to the Baekdu Region in Northern Korea/Southern Manchuria. 4. Yamato shall agree to permit the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Eastern Jilin to vote in a plebiscite in order to determine the fate of the prefecture as almost the entirety of the populace is highly Pro-Korean. Sumeragi
Yamato accepts the Marado Resolution. We thank Korea for their merciful terms. The official apology shall be issued in the next 24 hours. OOC: Mind if you make the poll for the last term? Also, it's Yeonbyeon! Use Korean like the full-blooded Korean you are >_>
Maelstrom Vortex
Dragon Empire troops move back to their old positions kicking dust-bunnies as they roll across the Asian deserts and occasionally showing up for Orchestra practice. Subtleknifewielder
An excellent set of terms. The representatives who came to this resolution are to be commended.
