Centurius
It was obvious the NC and Comintern weren't friends not at all to be exact over the last months even years hostilities between the 2 were obvious. Nikita looked at the screen in the War Room of AWS it showed all Military assets of AWS and it's allies in green with enemy fortifications in red. The elevation in alert levels was of course noticed showing they would have to strike soon. The Fleet was ready 5 Carrier Groups accompanied with Submarines, Cruisers, Destroyers, Battleships and so on and so forth were ready at the Canary Islands to move. The Air Force consisting of AF-1s, the new AF-2 and AB-1 were ready to strike on moments notice. Having already placed mines, turrets, Air Defenses and Coastal Defenses the homeland would manage to take out Millions of Soldiers before they could get even close to Molotov. The fake Communists to East would not form a front as Military involvement from them was not expected so Soldiers concentrated at the Border with the NC Protectorate region. The WMDs were ready should it be needed the enemy would encounter Biological $@tails with their main component a disease that had almost destroyed Europe before, the plague, now so long mutated general cures would prove ineffective and a new one had to be designed one AWS of course had. To fit the terrain camouflage was used while they did not expect it would make them invisible it would certainly make deciding exact numbers hard if not impossible. Meanwhile the last of the Military Systems not emp-proofed were made so enemy EMP would not be able to disrupt Military operations. After a last overview of the screen she turned around facing her whole Military Staff. Generals and Admirals had united all heroes of Astrakhan having experienced both Civil and Normal War their tactics would prove effective in war. "What is the status of Operation Halbe?"Nikita asked looking around. "Almost ready, we have over 200,000 already at or near the border area another 50,000 are moving there leaving 140,000 left to Defend the motherland."Marshal Zhukov stated having fought in the last war he quickly became the highest ranking Official in the Army. It was now time to await further Allied and Enemy movements. Edited April 30, 2009 by Centurius
Lynneth
In a secret bunker, somewhere in Canada "Well, this is it. The culminaton of tensions between ComIntern and the NC..." Leclerc looked at the holographic map before him, showing the ComIntern members, the NC, possible allies and hostiles, as well as anticipated troop-movements. Interestingly, there were no movements indicating advances into either Iceland or greenland - both were completely useless for the war effort, as the Canary Islands already served as a base from which to launch attacks into europe, and the Canaries didn't have to be conquered first - they already were in Canadian hands. And they had been for a very long time. The map showed the CBGs and transports in the middle of the atlantic, a while after passing the Azores. An arrow showed to where they would be going. Currently, their destination was landing directly in soon-to-be hostile territory, according to the map, but this would be changed slightly in due time. In the meantime, more ships began to travel through the atlantic, going deep within the SOSUS of Canada, just like these other ships had done before. And these ships would too change their course after passing the azores, though at a different time. The holographic image changed, showing satintel of the enemy's defense, some of it updated every once in a while, when a satellite passed over europe again. Currently, the ComIntern and the NC were not at war with each other, but that could change easily, and quickly. Within the Canadian territory - Saipan, Canaries and the mainland - missiles were readied, designed to annihilate satellites quickly and efficiently. the nordic communications had to be disrupted, and destoying their satellites was important to achieve this. Obviously, they could use many other things for this, but troops at the front often relied solely on sat-intel these days. Not so the Canadian soldiers, who did, indeed, use sat-intel, but could easily work without it. There were plenty of other means of supplying them with the information they needed. AWACS airplanes took off, making sure that the Nords would not suddenly break their "promise" of not firing the first shot, a promise which had - in the Chairman's opinion - already been broken the second they took control of the ancient mansion in Bavaria. Even without the technological advantage that Canada enjoyed over its foes - even if it was not big, it was one - the Canadian forces were almost as numerous as the entire armies of both Greater German and the so-called "Wästerdyskreich". Of course, some men had to stay in the Pacific or Canada to ensure an invasion would fail, but even then more than 750,000 could easily be committed to the cause, and those only from Canada. In the eastern front, the enemy would find himself absolutely outnumbered, numerous nations contributing. In the west, Alvonia and Cainette could bring troops as well, mostly to secure the already conquered territory, while some forces from New England would bolster the Canadian forces during the advance. An encrypted and classified message was sent to the allied nations - TEC, ComIntern and some other nations. Greetings. ComIntern forces will, as planned, advance on the eastern front through the enemy territory and destroy all enemies in their paths. TEC-forces in Scandinavia will be reinforced within due time. Canadian plans, however, have changed, as unexpected circumstances allow us to go directly into the lion's cave without needing to lose forces for establishing a bridgehead in Nordic lands. Currently, the ComIntern officially still is at peace. However, we ask everyone to mobilize their forces and bring them to the required areas as quickly as possible. This will be a war to be remembered. -Leclerc *End of message*
Markus Wilding
Alvonian troops were ready. This time, it would be the NC that was being kicked from Italy, and not Alvonia. Their land. Their people. Their blood. If these soldiers had their way, their faces would be the last thing NC soldiers would see before they died. Some 45,000 troops from Alvonian Wehrmacht and Armor divisions combined made their way into Canada, where they would mop up and secure the perimeter of new lands. Before the European war, most of Alvonia's weaponry was from the 1940's. Now they were armed with the G41, G36C, MP5, and many other powerful, modern weapons. Some still used the Kar, but it had been quickly phased out in favor of the G41. History repeats itself. Alvonia was kicked by a foriegn power, now the NC was being kicked by a foriegn power. JEDCJT
***Highly-classified*** After some deliberations, the Military High Command decided to deploy its armed forces to Asia, or specifically the Astrakhan World Services (AWS), the long way. The Atlantic Ocean wouldn’t be used to go to Europe, as it was far too obvious and sixty thousand New England troops were already deployed in the Canary Islands, ready to launch an offensive into Nordlandic Europe with their Canadian and ComIntern brothers. And so, it was decided that approximately 100,000 troops – five divisions – were to be sent to the AWS, to participate in the anticipated front there. They would go through the Pacific Ocean, through the Panama Canal (the government of the Holy Imperium of Man were notified of this). Hopefully from there, they would stop by Tahoan Hawaii on the way to their destination (the Tahoan government was also notified of this). The troops and ships would be careful not to intrude upon sovereign lands and waters on the way (especially Glorious Aotearoa’s) to the AWS. Even with over 160,000 troops deployed overseas, New England had more than enough troops to defend the homeland from potential invasion – they would utilize the terrain and other means to do so. It is estimated that as many as five to ten squadrons of aircrafts (fighters, bombers, support, etc) were to be sent to AWS. New England, despite its relatively small size, had advanced technology and military prowess that would make it a formidable foe for any unfortunate nations that chose to attack it. The nation was now set on DEFCON 1 as all of its systems were now fully online and functional. The Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard were fully prepared. And speaking of troops, there were several routes the troops could take on their way to the AWS. They could go to the People’s Republic of Xizang and cross their territory into the AWS, through Dragonisian India. Or they could go to the Yukbtobian Democratic Republic and cross Vaule’s territory on the way to the front. It was quickly decided upon, however, that the New England troops would take the Xizang route. They would get there in the shortest time as possible. These aforementioned nations were informed about this. Edited April 30, 2009 by JEDCJT

Infantry accompanied by IFV's, AAV's, tanks, rocket artillery, self-propelled artillery, towed artillery, flak tanks and flak artillery, Armored Transports and Recon Vehicles, as well as all manner of support supplies. The supply lines would begin in AWS, not Xizang. As such, max-loaded C-130's began shuttling troops as well as ammunition, fuel and weapons up to the forward AWS bases. The PLAAF also began moving. The fighter and bomber contingents were moved up to forward air bases in AWS. They were fully loaded and more C-130's brought more reloads. Also moving up were the various helicopters that would be used. Attack Helicopters and Recon Helicopters began moving up and basing with the infantry. The PLA would begin syncronizing with AWS intel systems, but had theirs on standby in case of an enemy cyber attack. JEDCJT
***Classified*** Once again, after some discussions, the Military High Command decided to increase the number of troops deployed overseas to 400,000. The 100,000 troops currently on the way to the AWS will be augmented with nearly 300,000 troops. This leaves a force of 200,000 highly-trained troops, a large majority of the Navy, and most of the Air Force to defend the Republic of New England from invasion. In addition to the ships and aircrafts that were currently deployed to the planned front in Asia, tanks were now added to the mix; approximately 6,000 tanks were to be deployed to the AWS too. Everything was going according to plan.

JEDCJT
***Classified*** The New England deployment, having passed through the Panama Canal, was steadily sailing through the Pacific Ocean, toward East Asia. At first, the Military High Command considered moving the convoy to Tahoan Hawaii, but ultimately decided it was best to just continue on to the AWS, as it was simply faster. The ships had more than enough fuel to last the entire journey, from forward and back. In the ships, over 100,000 soldiers, augmented by a further 300,000 soldiers in accompanying vessels. As stated before, to avoid arousing attention and suspicion, the vessels went one or two at a time, placed on specific intervals in between them. The aircrafts were based on the few aircraft carriers that accompanied the battle groups. Hours and even days passed as the ships neared and neared East Asia, taking special care to avoid any sovereign waters and the like (they even avoided the Hanseatic islands and the Aotearoa EEZ as such as they could). Eventually, the ships reached the Indian Ocean, passing Papua New Guinea and the Indonesia area, taking special care not to overlap into sovereign waters and the like (especially Promised Land). They went through the narrow straits one at a time as to avoid creating any…unneeded events. They could’ve headed southwards, to Dragonisia (Tasmania), but this was the quickest possible route to Dragonisian India, where they were going to dock at. After passing by Promised Land (their government was even informed of the passage of New England ships, as to help reassure them) without a hitch, the ships continued on, entering the Indian Ocean. Finally, after long hours (and days), the ships finally arrived at India, where they docked at various Indian ports (specifically the cities of Chennai and Vishakhapatnam, along with several more). It was there that the soldiers would rest for a while before they – along with their equipment, and supplies and the like – would move out northwards, toward the AWS. It would take days and even weeks. But it would be done. OOC: I hope it's acceptable. I tried to think of a plausible way for my ships to take the longer route through the Pacific >.> <.< >.> If not, help me.

They were being ferried to an airfield on Isla de la Palma to participate in the soon to be declared war against NC. TF 11 and TF 12 of the Ardorian Navy were also at Isla de la Palma where the non-nuclear ships were topped off and prepared for battle. The sight of so many men, aircraft, and ships from various nations all in the Canaries was an awe inspiring sight.
