No, possibly not, but I had to scale down on a few things including my military because it did affect my GNP. My income affected my bill payments (hmm, sounds like RL), hence a "Cyber Recession". There were layoffs, strikes, union involvement, the national guard had to be called out by the Govenor, it was ugly. As a matter of fact, their green aura makes me think of crops. I think I might allocate some of my budget for research into planting my radiating citizens to provide food for the rest of the population. I'll let you know when we have a breakthrough so, you know, you can like, plant some glowing people and feed you nation, us having stepped on your crops and all. I guess having the upper hand in a war finally got to your heads. Secondly, Cerberus, deal with it. It's not going to end your nation, when it's all over you'll still have your infrastructure, and everything will return to normal in your little world. If all you want to do is click buttons, crunch numbers, and collect taxes in this game, you might as well go play accounting instead of this. It's roughly just as fun. And for the OOC: Fallujah and war reference, please. If you're going to compare CN to Fallujah or any other war, you need to seriously re-examine your priorities. I think people would take your ideas far more seriously if you actually stayed on-topic. To get back on topic, yes, you do have a valid point - as far as I can tell, it's that we're all doing this without thinking/caring about anyone else's nations. I accept that we (i.e. everyone at war) are probably reducing your enjoyment of this Planet Bob by our warfare. However, you also seem to be neglecting that without war, we'd probably be quite bored (i.e. not enjoying the Planet Bob-ian life too much) right now. So, it would seem that we can't all be happy at once. Surely a/the logical solution is that sometimes we'll be at war, but more often we'll be at peace. When at war, the combatants will be enjoying themselves, whilst you will not. However, whilst at peace, we'll be getting bored, and you'll be having fun playing the game as normal. I'm not crying rivers there yahoo, I made a simple statement with a bit of political satire entwined within, and all of a suden I'm defending myself against thoes that would make a mountian out of a mole hill, simply, lay off the nukes for a while will ya please, there are others tring to live here and the apartment walls are thin, and the folks on the second floor keep stomping their feet. I look foward to rolling out the red carpet to your envoy. Should your embasadors require any special needs, please feel free to alert the kitchen as to any food allergies they might have, or house keeping as to possible detergent/fabric softener reactions as well.
