KaiserMelech Mikhail Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 (edited) MARSCURIAN-DRAGONISIAN LAND TREATY Preamble From the Western seas to the Eastern mountains, for the last three hundred and fifty years, the KaiserMelechs have ruled over the lands of Marscury. For the cause of unity and friendship, they now they have a new steward. May Dragonisia prove to be a fair and just ruler of these lands! Article One: Land Transfer 1. The Marscurian Empire shall cede its Indian territories to Dragonisia. 2. Dragonisia shall cede its Pakistani protectorate and the Karachi region to the Marscurian Empire, now renamed Marscurian Pakistan 3. The Imperial Palace in Marscury shall remain the official residence of the KaiserMelech, and the last sovereign territory of the Marscurian Empire, under the stewardship of Dragonisia. Article Two: Culture 1. The culture of the people of Marscury is not to be tampered with. 2. Areas to be respected include: religion, language, and statues of Marscurian heroes. Article Three: Transport and Trade 1. Ships of Marscurian Pakistan will have free trade to the ports of Mietonka and Utica. 2. Land border crossing security is the responsibility of both states. Article Four: Non-Agression 1. Through this treaty, the sovereign borders of both states have been established, and are to be respected. 2. Military action, either direct or by proxy, shall be forbidden between Marscurian Pakistan and Dragonisia. Article Five: Redeclaring Independence 1. The land ceded to Dragonisia is to be held by Dragonisia alone. Any attempts to give the ceded land to another nation will have the claim rendered null and void. 2. Should the state of Dragonisia collapse, the ceded land will be redeclared as an independent Marscurian Empire. 3. Any breach of this treaty will render it void, resulting in an independent Marscurian Empire. May the divine bless approve of this decision, and bless the region with peace and prosperity. The Indian people are in your debt for your many years of long-suffering as their governors and to the degree of quality by which you had governed. We look forward to looking very closely with you on regional matters as you are now practically our blood brothers, and we extend to you the offer to join the Dragon Bloc if you should wish. Your entire government and people are also invited to a massive celebration. It will be held in the "city of wonder" that was once a joint project between yourselves and the former Indochinese Regime." "We think this will be one of the biggest parties in India in the better part of a century and we intend on declaring the day a National Holiday as "Unity Day". The Celebration will begin officially as of now.. and will run for a week. All employees in all sectors both private and government, except the military in times of crisis, will be granted this day as an optional day for a paid "Leave of Absence" from their work. Also, we intend on making some very important news known to the world that day. Anthony Davis, Chairman Pro Tempoire since the assassination of the Chairman, will be attending." Stated Tom Clark, his face was covered in a smile that could not be suppressed. The emotion in his eyes were intense as it seemed he held back tears. "I'm glad I could help," Mikhail said, pushing the treaty and a pen over to him, "It just needs one more name and your dream will come true."
