HIPACOM is willing to negotiate specifics of Palau, Guam and Puerto Rico. The intention is not to annex every island group listed but rather to allow the interests of the autonomous CIG's present to have their voice heard. It may be possible to allow SOCSOV political parties on each island while also allowing Tikal formal governance authorities in some of the contested states (OOC: Shared governance).

 

Such a cooperative agreement could lead to cooperation and relations between Tikal and Hawaii.

HAWAII HIPACOM AND SOCSOV FORCES ARRIVE IN SEVERAL CLAIMED ISLANDS

Squad sized elements of political and military advisors have arrived in Kiribati, Samoa and several other populated locations that have joined the Pacific Oversector Authority. The advisory elements arrived by SOCSOV civilian aircraft and come armed with Stinger MANPADs along with small arms to begin integrating each Cultural Island Group into the SOCSOV and HIPACOM apparatus.

The elements will provide additional SHORAD defense and advise islanders on how to implement sovereign socialism into their societies. The integration plans will begin with establishing television access, cable and phone communications with Hawaii, and regular flights between Hawaii and CIGs. Self Defense training for CIG militias and arms supply is also expected to become a priority.

SOCSOV TO PROVIDE FREE WIFI TO ALL HAWAIIANS

In a pledge to push Honolulu to again become the most advanced city in the world, SOCSOVis establishing free wifi hotspots throughout the entire Hawaiian Island chain. Under a special bulk purchase agreement Hawaii will be able to provide exceptionally high internet speed at a fraction of the cost.

This follows Honolulu's recent achievement identity as cyberpunk, The only such city to be awarded the commendation by the International Urban Council. Crime is at an all time low in Honolulu with many nonlocal criminals exiled to other countries. Technology abounds in widespread parks and gardens where neighbors freely interact, cured of the curse of multiculturalism.

HAWAII TO BEGIN "TAKO" SCIENCE ORGANIZATION UNDER NATIONAL RECONNAISSANCE OFFICE

 

The Hawaii National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), heir to the United States satellite and intelligence office of the same name, has launched Project NROL-39 "TAKO," a worldwide network of experimental scientists and social theorists based out of Honolulu who share the SOCSOV ideology and scientific socialist hope for the future of mankind. 

 

This worldwide science network covertly seeks to employ scientists around the world who work with sensitive missile, SIGINT and satellite technologies. HAWAII CLOSE TO CURING CANCER, ELIMINATING DEFICIENT GENETICS

 

SOCSOV scientists have announced that they are 50% on the way to curing cancer and deficient genetics from the gene pool. Much of the progress is due to selective welfare policies which have been previously implemented in the Hawaiian Social Kingdom. Under the Deficient Genetics law, those childbearing parents with ideal genetic predispositions receive automatic state support and funding, while genetic replication involving less stable parental genetics are penalized and sometimes prohibited.

 

The results after the first generation indicate a 90% reduction in deficient births, with most infants born displaying ideal Hawaiian characteristics of health, strength and vitality. The first generation of Hawaiian youth promise a coming new world in light of Hawaii's advanced education programs which categorize children according to mental, physical and spiritual proficiency. The revamped education system is shaped around science and technology, with some children becoming scientists, others skilled or general laborers, and others still ideal soldiers.

 

Futuristic SOCSOV schools eliminate the "four walls and a teacher" mentality, instead favoring collaborative efforts by students and instructors to solve group problems.

HAWAII PENTAGON WONDER REVEALED TO PUBLIC

 

The Hawaii Pentagon, Headquarters of HIPACOM, has recently been revealed to the public, with four primary MILCOM buildings near the H-2 Highway in addition to underground facilities. The Facility hosts extensive parking, recreational facilities, a Veterans Hospital, and modern communications and coordination arrays (the facility is also networked into AEGIS onshore and offshore assets).

 

The facility is described as the nerve center of the HIPACOM layered defense strategy, although network redundancy would allow HIPACOM to continue to function if the facility were lost. The Facility occupies both Schofield and Wheeler sides of Kunia Road.

Timed to coincide with the new Dreadnought launch by HIPACOM, the History Channel is publishing a documentary discussing the possibility that 29 Hawaiian Dreadnoughts were produced during the time of the Hawaiian Monarchy decades before the rest of the world.

SOCSOV has invested heavily in clean autonomous energy production which has slashed civilian reliance on foreign hydrocarbons by 80%; although oil is still imported for vehicle use, alternatives do exist via coconut fuel production in case of emergency.

 

The military is a separate matter, due to 21st century equipment vehicles require massive amounts of hydrocarbon fuels. But with industrial and civilian pressure for oil and coal consumption eased, fueling HIPACOM should become much easier.

UNLEASH THE DREADNOUGHTS!

 

The roar of pinnacle 21st century 16 inch cannons was heard again across Oahu as all four mothballed Iowa-Class Battleships re-entered services as part of the rejuvenated HIPACOM Naval Armada. Under a top-secret program, the ancient ships of war were spirited to Hawaii to join the flagship, the storied USS MISSOURI, the battleship upon which the Japanese Surrendered in 1945.

 

Hawaii has become a beacon across the PACIFIC for the establishment of the old United States order which brought prosperity and peace to the Pacific Ocean. With the ancient MIGHTY MO again in service, the feeling is one of euphoria in Hawaii, the pride that comes with rebuilding an invincible naval force.

 

Before being restored to service, the four battleships received extensive renovations, with power now generated by nuclear power plants, earning the unique Hawaiian "Dreadnought" classification. Other modifications include removal of the historic 5 inch gun batteries, advanced SLQ-32(V)3 ECW suite, AN/SLQ-25 Nixie Decoys, Mark 36 Chaff, 4 CIWS batteries per dreadnought, and modernized networking that allows the massive 16 inch guns to coordinate with AEGIS radar. Dozens of Harpoon and Tomahawk class missiles can also be hosted on each Dreadnought. FIM-92E Stinger Batteries have been added to provide additional SHORAD defense.

 

The ships are planned to play a command role in the fleet, capable of withstanding heavy punishment, the battleships can soak up anti-ship missile damage while other more sensitive vessels launch return missile volleys. The battleship will coordinate All-Source Intelligence, SIGINT, AWACS, AEGIS, F-15s, land based forces and ASW/ASUW capabilities to provide effective command and control capability and multi-ship fire control during the heaviest combat.

 

Of course, the 16 inch Mark 7 Cannon represents the most important offensive capability of the Dreadnought, with each cannon able to lob a shell almost 20 miles with a shell to shell dispersion of 123 yards. With the addition of the DR-810 radar, accuracy was vastly improved in the 1980s. Each 16 inch gun is able to fire two shells per minute; 18 2700 pound shells can be fired every minute by each Dreadnought, which offers far cheaper and more consistent coastal bombardment than can be offered by aircraft.

 

With integration into other ship and land based AEGIS radar defenses possible, test trials are being conducted in which Mark 7 cannons fire shells in an air-burst configuration, to provide close missile defense within a 20 mile sphere at a fraction of the cost of traditional PATRIOT or other missile defense systems. A 2700 lb shell with fragmentation has a huge area of effect and the hope is that shells detonated near incoming missiles will provide effective last ditch defense against cruise and anti-ship missiles.

HIPACOM has released an ancient 1955 US NAVY training video which details the operation of the Mark 7 16 inch Gun, which remains remarkably original with the exception of targeting and acquisition equipment. The video contrasts the ultra-modern uniforms and internal living spaces which are inspired by science fiction and resemble the advanced cyber-socialism of Honolulu today.

HAWAII TO RESTOCK MARK 32 AND MARK 60 CAPTOR ASW TORPEDOES

 

Due to perceived threats by submarine forces following the nuclear debacle in Asia, HIPACOM has focused on the acquisition of Mark 32 SVTT ASW torpedo racks for escort vessels and some littoral vessels, with an emphasis on increasing Hawaii's Mark 50 Torpedo stockpiles. Mark 50 Torpedoes can be delivered by P-3 aircraft or naval vessel and have an operational range of more than 9 miles, ensuring a quick kill of any submarine foolish enough to near the surface around Hawaiian waters.

 

Mark 60 CAPTOR torpedo mines will also be extensively acquired by HIPACOM. Mark 60 sea-floor mounted mines feature a passive sonar system which detects submarine signatures within 8000 yards, and can be planted to a maximum depth of 3000 feet. Upon detection, the mine fires a Mark 46 torpedo at the target. The plan is for Mark 60 mines to potentially be deployed in classified "high traffic" locations around the main Hawaiian islands as a deterrent to future imperialist submarine activity in the area.

HAWAII TO FOCUS ON "MISSILE SPAM" DEFENSIVE WARFARE

 

While HIPACOM remains heavily outnumbered by imperialist fleets, the layered defense doctrine is designed to provide multiple defensive spheres that must be penetrated before the main Hawaiian Islands can be touched by aggressor forces. In the event of a determined foe, HIPACOM has determined that the gravest threat comes from "missile spam" and "zerg rushes" which are often a key doctrine of less sophisticated Imperialist militaries.

 

In a worst case scenario, the entire HIPACOM fleet would be stationed close to coastal assets and provide combined missile defense, primarily through the use of F-15 air superiority and AWACS coordination, and secondarily through AEGIS and missile defense, and tertiary defense, through SHORAD, CIWS, AA and other close defense assets.

 

HIPACOM estimates that a fleet of no less than five aircraft carriers would be necessary to overcome our land-based air defense alone, not counting naval and ground based defense. HIPACOM heavily benefits by being out of range of most land-based fighters. Offensive losses would be heavy, with one digital exercise predicting a loss of three of five Nimitz-class carriers projected, essentially a Pyrrhic victory for the imperialist aggressors. HIPACOM will not go into details regarding what would be required for a full invasion of the islands, but losses would be staggering.

E-3 TO COUNTER "AWACS KILLING" LONG RANGE RUSSIAN MISSILES BY SHUTTING DOWN RADAR

 

Intelligence has reached HIPACOM that Russian R37 "AWACS killing" missiles were deployed by Japan against China recently with uncertain results. The missiles, which have extreme long range capability, is a radiation-seeking design intended to penetrate air defenses and strike at AWACS assets deep behind enemy lines. However, as target acquisition is passive, the missile can be easily disrupted by temporarily shutting down the AWACS radar.

 

However, this can create a window which may leave F-15s with no redundant radar coverage and coordination. HIPACOM is seeking possible decoys and redundancy adjustments to doctrine to ensure this never happens in a defensive situation. Utilizing Dreadnoughts for Command coordination is expected to improved networked redundancy. It is expected that AEGIS and other radars will provide some level of redundancy in case of AWACS shut-down, although range and detection capability will not be as good.

SOCSOV RELEASES DOCUMENTARY ON WWII JAPANESE OCCUPATION OF GUAM, CHINA

SOCSOV has released a documentary on the cruelties inflicted by World War II Japanese Imperialism which will display on the Sovereignty Now! News Network. The documentary, which focuses on the occupation of Guam within the context of the larger imperialist effort in China and elsewhere, is also set to release on the internationally watched History Channel, with whom Hawaii has arranged frequent airtime.

With so many world wars, the nations of world has largely forgotten the lessons of imperialism in World War II and how the world united to defeat it. It is hoped that focus on the individual level -- the depravities of Japanese soldiers -- will remind the world that imperialism is unacceptable and in the long run harmful to both indigineous peoples and the aggressors.

Poster details Eastasian Imperialist Ambitions throughout the Pacific

 

SOVEREIGNTY NOW! PRODUCES DOCUMENTARY: "WHAT IF HAWAII FALLS?"

 

SOCSOV has produced a new international documentary which details what could happen if Eastasian Imperialists were to conquer Hawaii. With Imperialism on the rise from countries like Japan, the concern exists that Eastasian Imperialists will attempt to neutralize HIPACOM forces, enslave the Kanaka Maoli, and utilize Pearl Harbor and the post-genocide islands as a platform for invasion of the Americas.

 

During the course of the documentary, scientists and historians predict that a new superpower will form in Eastasia which will rival the new Eurasian coalition.
