A private letter would be dispatched the various offices of all countries' Heads of State about the globe from Southern Cross consular staff.

Dearest Sir/Madam,

The Office of the Prime Minister, Michael Abel, of the Southern Cross cordially invites you or a representative (and a small delegation) of your choice to the Commonwealth to join us for an international gathering, celebrating the new found stability of the Commonwealth, her first elected government since independence, and her victory over the insurgency movement aimed at toppling our fledgling government. The Commonwealth has seen too much loss, too much despair before the last month or so, and this celebration will mark the coming of a new era on the continent, and we look forward to celebrating it with you. This is a time of progress for our Commonwealth, our eyes begin to look outwards positively, to find friends about the world, to find those to prosper with, to find respectable nations to build strong, lasting relationships with.

Point Lookout at North Stradbroke Island.

We have selected North Stradbroke Island, outside of Brisbane, and its famous Point Lookout Retreat for our celebration of progress on the Coral Sea, we look forward to seeing each and everyone one of you there. This is a time for relaxation for all of the leaders of the world, to celebrate relative stability about the world, form friendships and maybe even engage in meaningful diplomacy? The Commonwealth's Defense Forces will be handling the security of the venue, although we do welcome foreign security teams, we request that all but personal bodyguards remain quartered in Brisbane, personal quarters will be afforded to every delegation, we ask that you please include the number in your delegation in your RSVP. We look forward to seeing both old and new faces at Point Lookout, and seeing you on the tarmac at Brisbane International!

Michael Abel
Prime Minister of the Commonwealth

Elizabeth Whittaker
Foreign Minister of the Commonwealth
Honorable Foreign Representative of the Southern Cross Parliament
Having fond memories of the last time she went to Australia for a party she could not refuse the invitation even though her advisors recommended her to stay at home due to the war with France. A few hours after the invitation was received a reply would be sent that the Megale Autokrateira was coming accompanied by the regular group of aides and of course High Guard for protection. Once the security preparations had been made the the FIA cleared the region Imperial Air One left HAFB Athens and headed to Brisbane being escorted by a fighter squadron for the entire flight in Athenian or international air. Once the plane landed several hours after most of the guards would stay behind while six High Guard Razor Special Operations forces would guarantee the protection of Ariadne throughout the event.

Two different set of representatives would arrive from Georgia in America, one was the diplomat Bobby Brown and an assistant representating Governor Stuart Smith and the other was a man in his thrities heavily cloaked calling himself Lord Decimatious with a young just adult aged woman who he would introduce as his slave here to keep him amused and to assist him. He would also inform anyone that asked he was there to represent the coming new order in Georgia.

On arrival both parties would spot each other and Mr Brown would send Lord Decimatious a heavy glare which he would reply with a smirk before both parties went to opposite sides of the party.

[OOC: If you want to still attend, please do so! More the merrier! Those who have dispatched delegations can now begin having them arrive.]

The northern landing/takeoff runway of Brisbane International, nominally used for flights for various international cargo carriers was also shared with the Commonwealth as an official government strip, and various executive aircraft for the government stood silent guard over the tarmac. Usually this area was full of cargo planes mixed in with their government counterparts, but they had been cleared away to make way for the various international dignitaries that were arriving. A line of white government stretched sedans, mostly vintage models, sport utility vehicles, as well as a small contingent of Brisbane Police cars and military tactical vehicles. The red carpet had been unrolled, and at the end of it, Elizabeth Whittaker stood with her hands clasped behind her back.

The former Prime Minister remembered the last international gala the Southern Cross had hosted, and the fond memories that it held for her, at that time, she had been a mess of nerves, that celebration being her first international meeting with other world leaders. Now, the older Lizzie Whittaker appeared more confident, her stature relaxed, her smile wide as an aide noted the approach of the first aircraft carrying the delegations. The aircraft would be given priority clearance over commercial flights vying for airspace at the busy airport, the morning sun was starting to just heat up the concrete landscape, and she adjusted her dress as the first of the aircraft began to arrive. The week following the invitation had been one of busy preparations for the Commonwealth's government and the city of Brisbane, which had been decked out and dressed up for the occasion. The route that would take them to the ferry to North Stradbroke in Cleveland, a suburb of Brisbane, had been decked out with flags of the various countries in attendance, and the arrival of international dignitaries stirred quite a response of interest in the citizenry of Brisbane, many of whom would line the vehicle convoy's route once they left Brisbane International.

At the airport itself, the military maintained a very distant appearance, helicopters could be seen circling above, while the convoy's security forces were all formally dressed up but the weapons on their vehicles were loaded and clear. The red carpet would be flanked by an honor guard from the reformed Lillian Guard, the venerable and legendary Guards of the Queendom of old, their current numbers rather low from years of frontline service and some who held opposing political stances to that of the various Australian States, which cost some of them their lives in labor camps of the regimes. The four Lillians lining the red carpet, a small turn out, were impressive nonetheless, their distinctive well-trimmed white uniforms were immaculate and the medals that lined their chests glinting spotlessly in the warm sun. Lizzie wore a formal dress, with small flats, and a big smile, her strawberry blonde hair wrapped up into a professional bun, but she also added a personal informal touch; a necklace of flowers around her neck.

As the first aircraft would taxi in front of the carpet, guided by an airport motor tug, Lizzie would adjust her stance and smile as the first guests arrived...

A small delegation from the Chancellery of Cyrantia was sent to the party in the Southern Cross. Led by the quite prominent High Chancellor of Defense, Mikhail Zherdev, he was accompanied by the more minor High Chancellors of Education, Transportation, and Health - Konstantin Antonov, Leonid Vitsin, and Andrey Kalinin. In fact, more than half of the seven-member Cyrantian Cabinet was in attendance at the party, which made up more of the government than had ever attended a foreign event of any kind. When attending a common party, delegates from Cyrantia and Marscurian Siberia sometimes traveled together, but in this case, with the Marscurian men moving by moose, the High Chancellors chose to simply be flown in and driven to the party.

The small, humble aircraft flew into Brisbane International Airport right on time. It was always government policy to be as punctual as possible when traveling by any method but moose. The four men, dressed in dark suits, stepped onto the ground and politely stretched out for a moment from the flight. Zherdev, who was the only member of the Cyrantian military present, saluted the guardsmen and military personnel, while the other three High Chancellors went over to greet their Australian hostess, and eventually move on to the party itself via the provided ferry.

Lizzie Whittaker would easily recognize the Eastern Empress Ariadne Notaras upon her arrival in Brisbane, and as the noblewoman exited her aircraft onto the tarmac, the former Prime Minister would curtsy when the Athenian drew even with her. The Lillian Guards on the flanks of the red carpet had raised their ceremonial rifles to present arms in honorable custom as the Mediterranean monarch passed by.

"Empress Ariadne Notaras, a pleasure seeing you decided to join us again, I guess I can say I'm more honored by your presence than normal, considering the state of affairs in Europe at this time, and your willingness to come down under during it," nodded Whittaker, with a polite warm smile, as she raised from her curtsy.

The two different sets of representatives of Georgia would be greeted with some confusion by Whittaker, aware that there had been some rumblings about some civil conflict going on in North America, hopefully these politics would not spill over into this celebration. She would, nonetheless, maintain her cool, calm, and relaxed composure despite some misgivings about these dual representatives of both sides of an ongoing conflict. Greeting both parties cordially, she would be rather perturbed by the man calling himself Decimatious holding a slave, and vowed in the back of her mind that she would need to have the venue's security detail watch these two parties closely.

The arrival of a more "unified" delegation was a breath of fresh air for Lizzie, who would cordially greet the Cyrantian delegation, exchanging pleasantries with the various ministers, Antonov, Vitsin, Kalinin, and the military officer, Zherdev. "It is good to see some distant neighbors of ours attending this soiree, we were hoping the Pacific Rim would be well represented, and your presence is certainly an honor," she would say, after exchanging greetings with the Siberians. The Cyrantians, like the rest of the delegations, would be ushered to the government sedans where a small bar could be utilized while other delegations arrived, given the ferry would depart once all were on board, it was logical for the convoy of vehicles to move as one.

As the delegations would arrive, the vehicles would be filled by the delegations one by one as Whittaker greeted the guests whose planes continued to line up on the tarmac as they landed.

"Ah, some friends from the other side of the Indian, it is a pleasure to make the acquaintance of some of our Indian Ocean rim neighbors," said Whittaker, as the President of Tanzania arrived at Brisbane. "I do hope that we can have some more formal discussions later on the Commonwealth's growing interest in the Indian Ocean and our neighbors across it," continued Whittaker, as she greeted the President with a firm and confident handshake.

Vice President Julia Manuel would arrive by a state jet in Brisbane, eagerly looking forward to meeting her collegues in the government of this neighbouring country.

"Vice President Manuel, it is an honor to finally meet one of our fellow Oceanic leaders, I do hope you won't be the only one in attendance today, but your presence is certainly appreciated nonetheless. I cannot think of a country that we probably hold a more friendly bond with then your own," noted Whittaker, after offering a handshake and a greeting to the arriving USO dignitary.

Having spent several days clubbing through Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra, Princess Anastasia and her escort rode into Brisbane on their moose at the time when the other diplomats were arriving in the city by plane. Anastasia had a look on her face that could only come from a person who had committed unspeakable acts, and the three mooseriders had looks on their face that could only come from being witness to unspeakable acts.

"We dug out of a Korean torture chamber with a spork, made our way through a bombed out city, watched Miss Doctor Victoria Kismet turn into a monster and get blown up, and I think this is what's going to give me PTSD," Viktor said. The other two simply nodded in agreement. Riding up to the party location, the mooseriders dismounted the moose and walked to the guards at the gate.

",די גרופּע פון מאַרסקוריש סיבעריאַ איז רעפּאָרטינג פֿאַר דער פּאַרטיי" Dmitri told the one in charge.

"We wish to announce the delegation from Marscurian Siberia has arrived," Mikhail translated.

"Thank you, it is a great privilege to be here" the Vice president would say as she shaked hands with Whittaker. "The United States of Oceanesia is busy preparing for elections, so I may be the only top level official who can make it here unfortunately. I look forward to strengthening the bonds of our friendship during my time here", she would continue with a smile.

The arrival of the mooserider delegation at the dock to the ferry that would take them to North Stradbroke Island was a rather strange affair for the Gold Coast Rifles Regiment guards, formally dressed and awaiting the arrival of the delegations from Brisbane International. Few if any of these guards had ever seen an animal larger than a kangaroo, the moose, and their riders before them appearing rather imposing. An infantry officer, however, would approach them with a calm demeanor.

"I was under the impression that all of the delegates would be arriving in a convoy from Brisbane International Airport, nonetheless, if you have your official invitation with you, we'll allow you to pass. The rest of the delegates will soon arrive, and we will proceed to the island once they have arrived, there is a bar on the ferry, if you'd like to relax while they get here. Of course, that depends on whether you are, who you say you are," said the officer, slipping an electronic tablet from underneath his arm, and checking the list of guest nations set to attend.

Chief Praefect Harold Vilhjálmsson would attend. He would arrive after a long flight, accompanied by several RGMP operatives.

"And North America makes a well-met appearance!" exclaimed Whittaker, as she noted the arrival of the Greenlandic Praefect at Brisbane. She would greet Vilhjálmsson with a friendly handshake and pleasant smile. "It is good to see North America represented here, especially by one of its leading powers, even if not represented by a non-Pacific Rim country. Our interests extend beyond the periphery, and we were hoping our world neighbors to the Northeast would make an appearance."

"It is of no consequence, Vice President, we understand how busy election time can be," sighed Whittaker, as her mind slipped back to the memories of the first news reports about a month ago when the national elections were disrupted by insurgents in Melbourne. "I look forward to speaking with you on a more formal level over expanding our relationship, our two countries share a good deal of similarities. I am sure such affiliations could create a strong and lasting relationship between our two nations."

"Of course," Anastasia said, "oh boys!" A shiver ran down the three mens' spine as they remembered an incident in Sydney. Shaking it off, they reached into their pockets and pulled out their official ID cards, then reached into their leggings and pulled out the official invitations which were a bit creased, but still perfectly legible. Digging into her little purse, Anastasia took out the same two documents, and they were handed to the guard with the clipboard.

"Yes, with the civil war that has just been quelled, the members of our Independence Council, myself, and Robert's younger brother were very busy organizing the national elections and getting this country turned over to the hands of its people. We also had to coordinate the defense of the nation, Melbourne suffered, sadly, but we did prevail in the end, due to the resilience of the people who wanted to see this country last," responded Whittaker, appearing to be saddened by the recent troubles that had shaken her country.

"Robert and I were married about seven years ago, he is generally aloof of the public nowadays, we only returned to the continent about a year ago, mainly staying under the radar during the Flemming years. When Hope and Charity were born, Robert said he wanted them to grow up in their mother country, not on Hahajima, I enjoyed living there though, secluded, gave me time to collect my thoughts. And yourself, your majesty? What of your Western Empire Counterpart?"

The infantry officer would take the documents smartly and review them with a astute eye, clearly having a trained eye for this sort of thing as he reviewed looking up at the group of individuals arrayed before him. He would then hand the documents back to each individually, and nodded lightly, "Thank you, your majesty."

"You may board the ferry, feel free to stable... your mounts," said the officer, looking at the rather ungainly deer-like creatures before him, "There is a vehicle deck where they can be taken, and I'm sure the crew may be able to find some way to water them. "Thanks hon," Anastasia said, "and the proper term is 'your highness.'" She took her ID card back from the soldier with the clipboard and ran it in front of his accomplice's face. "You can call me Annie," she said into the man's ear in a sultry voice. With a quick wink, they rode on to the ferry, Anastasia first with the three mooseriders chuckling behind her.

Jade Lithaen was sent for the Northern Imperium, a gorgeous dress of green and gold draped across her figure, arriving in an Imperial limousine brought with her aboard the HMS Illustrious, her personal yacht donated to her by Silverman & Sons of Skagway. She stepped out of the vehicle, at the head of a sextet of ceremonially-armored Imperial Marines, her granduncle in tow in a dashing suit of light-drinking black. She smiled as she entered the area, seeing the sharply-dressed and even more sharply-drilled members of the Australian honor guard go about their duties with precise, flowing ease. "I think that we shall like it here, Uncle..."
