[/quote] Regent, IA and At Large are elected. Emperor and the other ministers are appointed and then confirmed via vote every 4 months. If the Emperor isn't confirmed by a simple majority (50%+1 of voters), the Regent steps into that spot. Any ministers not confirmed via the same 50+1 are replaced within 7 days by the Emperor.
