Tom Marvolo Riddle
No. Your Colonial system is completely separate from CNRP. Thank you for your rulings. If I have anymore questions, I will ask.
TheShammySocialist
So, what's the word on disputed territories now, especially in Africa?
Yawoo
So, what's the word on disputed territories now, especially in Africa? Just so we have a record of it here, but as I said on IRC, I would like to discuss the issue with the full GM team, so we will get a response back to you following the runoff election. iKrolm
OOC: At this point Em is not inactive. He was on the 25th day since his last post but hasn't hit the update that would turn him inactive. With his ic post the timer is reset.Inactivity has always been on the 25th day. This interpretation would push inactivity to the 26th day, would it not? (After the end of the 25th day, after the last post, is the 26th day.) iKrolm
Inactivity has been like the IG inactivity rule, which is update on the 26th day.IG deletes on the 25th day, not midnight of the 25th/26th.EDIT: Quote from update logs:7-28-2009- Starting today at 11:30 AM game time the inactivity deletion routine now automatically deletes nations on 25 days inactivity instead of on 20 days inactivity. Tax collections are now capped at 20 days. The additional time added before automatic deletion occurs is intended to give players some buffer time in case of connection issues or other problems so that they can collect taxes and prevent automatic account deletion. To be clear, nations will now be deleted ON 25 days inactivity, at no specific time. So the advice is to prevent your nation from getting to 25 days of inactivity. If your account is deleted due to inactivity it will not be restored. This update is not retroactive so if your nation was previously deleted on 20 days inactivity under the previous rules it will not be restored. The website terms and conditions have been updated to reflect this change. Edited March 26, 2013 by iKrolm
Centurius
Check it out in-game, when the game signs you off as 25 days inactive it waits until update to actually delete you. This rule was copied to CNRP so 25 full days since last post plus whatever time is left until update.
Triyun
Could both elaborate more. I do feel the admin quote is pretty compelling Cent.
TheShammySocialist
We've discussed this in the past, the precedence has always been on the twenty-sixth update of inactivity, IG Time, the CNRP nation is considered white and wiped. I'm sure we could dig up a number of cases where this has been the precedent. Edited March 26, 2013 by TheShammySocialist

I'm sure we could dig up a number of cases where this has been the precedent. I'm aware. At the same time, if he has a quote from the game log from admin, it deserves some degree of a fair hearing. My understanding is the reason for not exactly 26 days but at update is that's the time of deletion. This log seems to indicate otherwise. I don't pay much attention to it, so if he could elaborate that would be appreciated. iKrolm is entitled to argue his case just as anyone. Centurius
Of course his argument deserves hearing out, but the IG reality simply doesn't reflect said quote.
Triyun
The last part is directed at EM not you Shammy. I don't know how to multi-quote with the new board. Cent would you possibly have a link to that happening just to be sure? Obviously if I was going to have a Machiavellian scheme (well at least one) in this regard, I'd have preferred for iKrolm to be accurate :P . At the same time I am generally sympathetic to the principle that if you're provided incorrect information from an authoritative source you do deserve some sympathy. So I would like to see iKrolm's argument treated with something more solid than just say so.
Evangeline Anovilis
I don't know how to multi-quote with the new board. Multi-quoting works by clicking on "MultiQuote" next to all posts you want to quote. Since the first selection, in the bottom-right corner, there should be a field, saying "Reply to x quoted post(s)" and "Clear". Click on the first option, it should then throw all the quotes into the Fast Reply field for you to reply to. Click "Clear" to reset the MultiQuote selection, if you decide you don't want to quote them. Click on "MultiQuote" of a selected post again to deselect them. Hope that works also for you this way. Triyun
I don't see a multi quote button available to me anymore.

Triyun
Yeah simply don't have that button, lol. In regards to the case, I think while I see where you are coming from iKrolm unfortunately Cent's right as far as the practical evidence. MostGloriousLeader
Can I get two spyrolls to uncover the true identity of Mara's leader's "African Connection"? Also I do want to call into question her movement of 35,000 troops into Florida. How does one move that many troops unnoticed, especially when my nation has set up a large amount of ocean surveillance measures.
Mara Lithaen
Well, MGL, given that she's not my leader.... go right on ahead. Edited March 26, 2013 by Mara Lithaen
MostGloriousLeader
Perhaps my grammar is a bit off as I haven't had to take english in a while. I am referring to the posse Mara brought in from Africa.
Mara Lithaen
As explained both in PM and in RP, they're mercenaries. Right off the top of my head, Virtus International and Kankou's Blackwater (or something like that) are ten or twenty times that size. If I really wanted to, I'd hire one of them. Seeing as you're going to dispute my claim no matter what I say, I think it's a good idea to make sure that my new nation isn't completely helpless before you.
MostGloriousLeader
Well if you want to hire mercenaries I have no issue with that. I am merely disputing the insta-transport of 35,000 troops across the Atlantic Ocean without me being able to do anything about it.
