Once again, the USRS looks on in utter disbelief as the Government of Magadan Oblast further destroys the written language. We must ask, has the Government of Magadan Oblast declared war on language itself?

RADIO NOVCORP, broadcast from the Serene Republic of Vaule:

"As with the United Socialist Republic of Siberia, we at Radio NovCorp are befuddled at this butchery of the written language by the Government of Magadan Oblast. We can only wonder what the Government of the Serene Republic of Vaule was thinking when it turned over control of the region over to a government that has such...low literacy levels. Surely, education standards are not declining in certain parts of the world on the same level that diplomacy is on the decline everywhere in the world?

But no worries! We, at Radio NovCorp, happen to be in the middle of planning to host an educational radio broadcast that we are sure will help to boost literacy, and we can petition private citizens of the Republic of Noveria to provide funding to help bring up the education of Magadan, its government, and people up to the respectable standards of the world community of nations, especially in the delicate field of diplomacy and communication."

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE DIRECTORATE OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS:

"We watch this with mild interest."

The USRS demands that the citizens of Magadan Oblast be entitled to a full and proper education. By the obvious restriction or lack of education in Magadan Oblast, you are in severe voilation of the human rights of the people. Failure to adhere to this demand will result in trading sanctions, pending further action if the human rights of the people are not restored.

OOC: Alright knock it off. He was more or less railroaded out of Australia. Are you all so bored that the only interesting thing you can find to do is heckle someone's writing abilities?

GROW UP.

IC:

Legion welcomes this new nation to Asia and will watch without further comment for the time being as that is our standard procedure with new nations.

Do not take them seriously."

"The Port Sudan Tattler, a rather notorious newspaper/scandal sheet, for all of Legion is quite interested in doing an article on your new nation. Might we have permission to send a journalist to poke around and ask some questions? We do have to insist that the article be printed without having to be cleared by your government though. Legion doesn't hinder freedom of the press like so many other nations enjoy doing. In fact a few of the nations pestering you probably regularly stifle freedom of speech in their own nations. Hypocrites."

Wolf Schlitzer from the Port Sudan Tattler finds himself rudely thrown out of his bed by three large men wearing SWAT Gear. He stares up at the three men in all their Tacticool glory with red laser beams flashing off the end of their carbines and decides that whatever they want, he should probably just let them have it. Finally he asks,"So... did I run my bartab again and forget to close it?"

"Nah, your boss just wants you to fly to someplace in Asia and write a story on them. He sent us to scare the living daylights out of you for that prank you pulled on him last year," replies one of the men.

"Oh that rotten..." mutters Wolf as he showers, dresses, grabs his Go Bag and walks out the door with the three Tacticool looking Commandos chortling in his wake as they follow him.

A few hours later he finds himself sitting in first class telling a fine looking stewardess, "And then the cannibals decided to not eat me as I'm a living god in their culture.." with a glass of red label scotch in one hand.

ooc: he'll arrive in one more post.

Wolf Schiltzer, the Journalistic Hero of the Kickapoo War, gets off the plane and meets his local driver. He politely tells the limousine driver that he has a car of his own that was hired by his Newspaper for the duration of his assignment. He hops into the beater with his local driver, paid for by the paper, and a cameraman. This report is going to also include a few live broadcasts as well.

As Wolf is a bit of a lech he skips the 5 star resort and heads directly for the nearest red light district as well. All this journalism is making him horny and hungry. Besides, asking working girls questions gets all kinds of great answers, they spend most of their time listening to men who gossip about all kinds of things. Probably not going to be any live broadcasts of these specific interviews though due to in-depth nature of them.

Wolf Schlitzer is standing out a small school with his TV crew. They are filming a bunch of kids playing dodge ball. One small child wanders up and bravely asks, "Who are you?"

"I'm Wolf Schlitzer, from the Port Sudan Tattler, who are you?"

"Timmy..."

"Timmy how old are you?"

"This many years," Timmy says as he holds up 4 fingers.

"Well Timmy do you like school?"

"I love it, my teachers give us milk and cookies."

"Well, that's great.. what are you learning today?"

"How to make this many into this many," Timmy says as he holds up 2 fingers on one hand and four on the other.

Websites in Legion promptly start displaying banners and such reading, "Timmy, makin' this many into this many since 2011.." Rumors also show that there are several Timmy fan clubs forming as well within Legion. The Port Sudan Teacher's Association do an informal vote and nominate Timmy as the cutest little kid ever to be shown on Television, far cuter than that annoying Molly Kid and her damn lost goat.

Political Shifts:

"With the increase of jobs in the nation it has led to an increase in immigration. This has many people in the nation worried that immigrants will begin taking jobs away from the current citizens. Many are calling on the government to pass immigration restrictions to cut down the number of immigrants coming in. This has led to the new nativeist party which is gaining support from there promises of pushing anti-immigration laws in the senate. Despite this increase of anti-immigration movements the government has stated that they have no plans of limiting immigration. National economists have stated that the predicted increase of jobs will be able to compensate for the increase in immigration. We will keep you updated has the debate goes on."
