    White peace ends all states of conflict between the signed parties (including obligating the end of the "DoW on the World" as it pertains to Herogasm, but not alliances outside our coalition). It imposes no other legal restrictions, of course, and Doom could open a new war, but it would be a new conflict, not a continuation of their prior open declaration. This is basically meaningless e-lawyering and semantics for wiki editors, I suppose.

    The long and short of it is, they wouldn't be breaking the white peace agreement by going back to war, but neither would such an action be consequence free.  This agreement was reached because a lot of people wanted to rebuild, and I am guessing people who fought alongside Doom wouldn't be terribly happy to be dragged back into another war so soon.

     

    So what you're saying is your big old Herogasm actually accomplished nothing; DBDC can and probably will raid again and your coalition made no significant impact on their ability to do so.

     

    That's why you agreed to white peace; neither of you won. You just revealed weak links in the chain on either side of the conflict. Hopefully next time we'll see the people actually willing to put up and fight without meatshields.

    That is a lot of posturing from a guy who leads an alliance that barely even touched us. Come talk to us when you and yours fight over 2,000 wars in 6 months. It doesn't matter how many times you guys change your name or try and rebrand yourselves, you still suck HARD.

    Yeah, that is the standard response one should have to being attacked- defend yourselves. If you're happy to continue destroying their tech why did you agree to peace?  

     

    I'll answer; both sides ran out of targets in range to have any meaningful impact on the balance of power and had fought to stalemate. Also a number of alliances from both coalitions weren't really contributing anything anyway.

     

    Maybe next time everyone can streamline their respective coalitions, rather than attempt to throw enough crap at a wall and hope that it sticks long enough for someone to declare a decisive victory.

    I think you are being needlessly cynical about these "disenfranchised" leaders and their cause. They are not powerless, they are exercising their power in a joint fashion currently. We have put Lyanna forward as one of our representatives for the very same reason that those on the other side might dislike her intensely: she is good at what she does.     That you have, which is why it's nice to see your face around here again because the world is pretty devoid of talent. I won't deny that Lyanna has indeed accomplished a fair bit in NG with the help of her council and as you do now; I once found her to be earnest and authentic when we worked together before she became a full-member of NG. Though as I'm sure you well know, being earnest isn't always the most pragmatic course of action, sometimes you need to adorn a cloak and wield a dagger for a more cut-throat approach to get what you want. It's less a too-cool-for-school sneer on my part but an attempt to present a counter-narrative that your opponents have thus far failed to articulate in a coherent fashion beyond gutteral braying, with the added personal bonus for myself of grinding an axe in the process.

     

    Perhaps disenfranchised was the wrong word, many of the alliances in your coalition lacked the means to stand up to their aggressors for years on their own. Many of the people in your coalition cowered in fear at the repercussions of doing anything to defend them despite having the means to do so because heaven forbid they lose pixels or took a risk. I've spent most of my time since coming back in 2019 fighting against CLAWS/Doomsphere (as for your remark about coherent posting, that happened to be one of the weapons in my arsenal- my work could not hold a candle to the standards and quality of Doitzel/Schattenmann but it was from their work that I drew inspiration to use the written word to win a war.) and it is why I have entered the fray against CLAWS once again for OBR/OG. I may have been a brazen raider with my previous alliance but I always made sure to punch up and not down, unlike Doom.

     

    It's been a long time coming that people with the military power have actually made a move in that regard so it is genuinely refreshing to see at least something being done. Here's hoping you actually do get the job done properly, but as for Pacifica and Oculus? I couldn't care less about their fate, as many of you have pointed out; they're a mostly inactive husk of what they once were. It seems a futile endeavour to waste resources taking potshots at the jaded inhabitants of Planet Bob's 'Laputa'.

    What former leaders are you talking about regarding this "true and objectively better NG," because a pretty significant portion of the people who have been running NG for the last 11 years have counselled Lyanna in some form.

    I guess I should correct myself; the competent leaders of yesterday who wanted to take down actual targets eho were active(see: Fark In their prime) are trying to vicariously relive past

    glories and grudges through the daughter of the founders. I'm not sure which is more sad.

A miracle

    worker she ain't; just someone in the right place at the right time with a disenfranchised group of leaders looking for a cause to burn for.

    You may be the daughter of the founders but you don't hold a candle to the prior leaders of the many of the true and objectively better Non Grata leaders that came after the formation of Poison Clan, you just ride the coattails of their legacy. The NG of today are just like CLAWS; a hastily assembled merger of individuals who bought into your narrative and you're being shielded by alliances whose legitimate grievances against their opponents you have exploited to keep one side of their coalition busy so you didn't get stomped. That's why you made sure Legion got roped into it early while avoiding RFI yourselves because you knew that by activating RFI they would've defended them (and I know how irate you and LWW got when you found this out- how dare they defend their allies!? They should've done what you wanted right? You don't take kindly to not getting your way all of the time) and they would have given you a much more challenging fight than the majority of RFI could. That's why you goaded people who were victims of Doom raids to jump in against the one front that you refused to touch because you knew what would happen if you did- and who can blame them for wanting a shot at vengeance, at least their motives have far more legitimacy than your grudge war against (as far as you and your members have outlined); an irrelevant bloated inactive alliance. It's not a bad war strategy to mitigate your overall losses but at the end of the day? You have used alliances to pursue your own agenda just as NPO have done in the past. You're no better than them.

     

    You do not truly pursue peace because for starters; NG are not actually interested in peace.  You are not declining terms because you refuse to leave people on the field, it's because if people leave the field before you do then it's game over for you. What if the other alliances can get better terms for peace than a blanket white peace? OG/OBR/CRAP have a legitimate concern that Doom will continue their hostilities when this war ends; what assurances do they have of this not being the case if all they get is white peace, have you bothered to consider bringing this up? White peace benefits you the most because you can walk away scott-free but OBR/OG/CRAP deserve some concessions from Doom that they'll cease their history of aggression and hostile manouvers against them. If you actually cared about them you'd take that into consideration and actually advocate for them instead solely your own selfish interests.

     

    Stop pretending that this is friends > pixels, it's simply realpolitik to pursue your own agenda while alliances each of you have openly mocked for being "terrible" in the past are willing sacrificial lambs for the CLAWS/Doom front so that you don't have to deal with RFI and Oculus simultaneously. The people fighting Doom have a just cause, you are merely pursuing a vendetta that precedes your existence on this planet
