What, you were expecting something else?

Funnily enough before opening this thread I anticipated it as some kind of jab at us from you after your previous announcement/veiled jab at us about your democratic process.

You could always try actually declaring war on us but we all know you won't do that, much easier to puff your chests out about the numbers than lose them. Besides my display shows you still lagging behind at 12th place ;)

Congrats either way and happy holidays to you too!

  2. Flag_of_Viridian_Entente.png  [Adventure Crimes Patch 1.01]  Gatoflag2.png

This treaty patch is to update Global Alliance and Treaty Organization (GATO) and The Viridian Entente (VE) new gameplay to share based dream adventures and form a pact to go on Adventure Crimes together.

Article I - Honor amongst Thieves Bugfix
To repair backend PvP issues, both GATO and VE recognize one another as sovereign entities and agree to not engage in any criminal adventure which would harm either party. Both GATO and VE will agree to a parley in the event of a conflict of interest to resolve matters peacefully.

Article II - Loot Sharing & New Data UI
If either party discovers a potential mark, a hidden stash of Mario Coins, or intelligence regarding the actions of rival entities, both GATO and VE agree to share this information with one another via pog updates to our embassy.exe UI. We may also pool our respective Mario Coins and technological resources previously unavailable in patch 1.00.

Article III - Stash Protection and Turf Defense
In the event that GATO or VE are confronted by a rival gang who decide to open fire and attack, either party is reserves the option to defend their partners in crime, though there is no obligation to do so. This may involve returning fire against the aggressor(s) or providing Mario Coins that may be required to fund the defensive effort. (This is a buff)

Article IV - Be Gay, Do Crime
Inter-Guild UI updated so that certain crimes may involve assaulting rival territory directly together! Both parties reserve the right to tag along and start blasting the rival in question.

    Article V - Retirement
There often comes a time for many joint criminal enterprises where both parties decide to part ways and no longer be partners in crime. In the event of either party deciding to retire from Adventure Crimes; both alliances agree to give each other 72 hours to fairly divide the loot and revert to patch 1.00.

...how would that be a trap?

Everybody's been aiding their side of this since the beginning.

Aiding Mongols whom TW (your AA) are not allied to while sigs are being gathered for this treaty? Yeah, that's not bait for an obvious escalatory trap is it? 🙄

Now it's your turn; do tell me about this other trap for which you've posted that meme at least once already. Our allies get attacked so it's some kind of demented 4D Chess move by Oculus to bait......someone into a losing war, or something?

If you're going to try and spin a narrative at least make it slightly plausible. The only part that makes sense there is the confusion that NG would hit UCR in the first place, legit didn't expect that.

So, your allies have to ask you for each individual slot of aid. You can't just....fill their slots and continue to do so. They have to ask over and over.

    Okay, cool

Communicating and co-ordinating econ with your allies and alliance mates is a wild concept for you I know but hey; you do your thing and we'll do ours 👍

    Anyway, here's Wonderwall...

So what happened for the rest of the 4 or so months they were at war with the Wolves?

'Were'? I think you mean 'have been' as that front remains open. As to your question though; aid was provided when requested, it's really as simple as that. You were too busy getting your pants in a knot over every failed attempt to escalate things via proxies and your eventual direct declaration.

It's good to see that you've recognised this erroneous course of action though and we have now come to a reasonable conclusion of your involvement against our allies :)

Behold, GATO's close support for UCR:

Well we have been trying to negotiate this here peace agreement with Non Grata and Mongols who were engaged with UCR. Typically speaking if you're entering into a peace negotiation in good faith, it's usually considered bad form to drop aid or continue to declare additional wars on the opponent. We wanted all parties involved to see we were committed to the pursuit of peace.

Please for the love of all that is holy, aid the commies. They are broke. They need financial help more than anything else. Fill every slot so they can pay bills. They need it badly.

Glad to hear you're okay with this!

Maybe GATO can try to get them peace from that as well. Since they are such good allies with RFI as a whole, they’ll want to protect them from those bad guys in TW.

Someone help me; I just rolled my eyes so far into the back of my head after reading this sentence and now they won't roll back!

Obviously we decided to half-ass it and only de-escalate this omnishambles, it's not like we haven't been working closely with UCR from the beginning to provide assistance without needlessly escalating things.

    Stay classy AO.

What do you mean?  We took the bait, hook, line, and sinker in the first place.  NG had to play 8D chess shortly after to activate their 13D defensive treaty so PGS and GATO attack them.

    Nothing actually matters anymore.

The desperation from them to escalate has been palapable eh?

Still too chicken to escalate it properly though.

    You're trying too hard, Johnny.

How many 'mercenary nations' joined TW?

How many 'mercenary nations' joined the commies - who already had a SIGNIFICANT advantage in number of nations, tech, and NS?

Great. Now subtract the second number from the first. How many total net 'mercenaries' joined TW?

These are for you. Go ahead and grasp 'em, you've earned it.

We'll be handing them back a couple of broken nations, so I guess it WOULD be fair...

Getting a lot of external manpower to join The Wolves and deal with the so-called "incompetent" members of UCR.

Either you're right and they are incompetent, which means so are you and the rest of The Wolves because you seem unable to achieve victory without mercenaries to help out. Or you're wrong and they are competent, which is precisely why you've got some mercenary support from Non Grata.

However you slice it? It's not the most flattering reflection of how The Wolves are faring against UCR.
