    I can't speak for them but perhaps Olympus and NAC were hoping that NPO would actually fight with them, rather than cycle more members out to hide in peace mode leaving their allies to take a beating.

    Considering they were fighting to defend their ally don't you think they might feel a bit betrayed also?

    I'm sorry, what? You didn't answer my question.

    Why is it forced disbandment if you are the one choosing to disband the alliance? You could always choose to not disband the alliance and to continue to wage war instead.

    Because at the time of Facepunch people would've crawled over their dead mother to drag them into their sphere of influence for the next big war. Now that we have our big war, people don't really care.


    I guess what I'm saying is people were desperate for someone to come along and change the playing field.

    I wasn't fighting Pacificans for the most of it, I was fighting your more competent allies, who are far more skilled in the demolition department. You've also been unable to declare wars for quite some time, infrastructure sure does perform better in peace mode.

    If anything I was just questioning the timing of the announcement and why you didn't just cut to the chase in the GOONS DoW, but at least we both agree this announcement was pretty pointless.
