  1. To further support Blacklight's comment there, I received this message from one of the Krabz members who was hit during the curbstomp at the beginning of the round: Straight from the horse's mouth. Fata1ity tried to argue that this end-round war of ours was driving people away, but there are two key differences. 1. D1 and D2 are both far more experienced alliances than Krabz or FF, and their members are less likely to be people experiencing their very first round. The same can't be said for the victims of that curbstomp. For many, that was their only experience in TE. Can you blame them for wanting to quit? 2. This is happening at the very end of the round, whereas their curbstomp was at the beginning. All nations will be gone within a week and a half. When they attacked, they had every intention of destroying TDO and everyone that housed former TDO members. D1 and D2 handicapped Krabz and FF from the very start. Fata1ity also told me this: This is the problem. This is the plague. We are playing a dying game. Numbers in SE get less every year, and with them, TE drops too. Rolling newbies, while good for xp and alliance stats, is a practice that must end. We need to welcome them to the game, not make their only experience a negative one that will send them away from us. Nurture them, guide them, make them into warriors that you would happily stand with or against. This war is righteous, for we are taking down a virus that would ruin the game for everyone. Consider it justice.
  2. Hola. Just to answer this one: The wrong they are righting is hypocrisy. When D1 declared on Eurasia for hitting NDO just out of war, Cowboy was adamant that ten days should have been given, or at the very least six. Now I am not saying D1 should not have stepped in to defend NDO - this much I agree with. However, after declaring a war in the name of this grace period, they then went on to break their own rule, and hit TDO five days out of war. Eurasia are understandably mad that they were rolled for values that Cowboy clearly does not hold himself accountable to.
  3. D1 seeks to escape their demise. This is just embarrassing.
  4. I think we should call you Stone-Cold NeCoHo! Either way, very good declaration. Gave me something to read on my work break :D
  5. Maybe if you hadn't been the biggest hypocrites imaginable this round, this would not be happening.
  6. God forbid a thread not be about Methrage, huh? "Ooooh, attention!"
  7. I am a cat lover, and I love to run. I'm sorry I'm thinking about cats again; I really lo-ove cats.
  8. In terms of stats, the war is fair. I'm mainly just laughing at the fact that RE seem to have just lost any semblance of autonomy. This round, you have followed the lead of D1 like good little puppies.
  9. Yo TDO Superheros and NLoDN, Better get your hoots ready. RE and D1 is fighting you! This is peaceful war we are honour and just a friendly war! Something about a Megaround. Well, that was painful to write. I figured seeing as D1 and RE don't consider us worthy, I'd post the declaration for them. And did it in Cowboy's style, because he is the Master of RE, after all. That is a direct quote from Cowboy. TDO's war with TPC ended a mere five days before the beginning of the D1 blitz. Just throwing that out there. It seems it is fine to break the gentlemen's agreement if you're D1/RE, but punishable by death if you're not. So here's to a destructive war. I would wish your side luck, but well, I hate you both. (see, it is still there, Paul :P ) Pew pew. o/ TDO o/ Avengers o/ NLoDN
  10. I couldn't have said it better myself. I assume we can expect their merge notice declaration of war soon?
  11. Agreed, 100%. I would have had no worries with this level of money if the MP was more expensive, to balance things.
  12. Were our two friendly wars not good enough for you? :(
  13. I can see what you're saying here. However, the chance for a non-nuclear war could be taken from you. Look at the beginning of this round: TDO built the economic way, without obtaining Manhattan Projects. And then D1/RE rolled us, having total nuclear supremacy. Whether or not we wished to experience a non-nuclear war, a nuclear one was forced upon us. I imagine if the 100m was permanent, this would happen round after round. Not necessarily to TDO, and not necessarily by D1/RE, but it would happen. Alternating with lower startup funds both allows those who wish war to be nuclear from Day 1, and those who want to fight in a totally non-nuclear war. Win win.
  14. I think alternating would be better. Larger SE nations also play this, and every war they fight is nuclear. The 10m start-up allows for those nations to experience the fun of a non-nuclear war in the first part of the round.
  15. Peace is agreed for update tonight. So no attacks on or after the 17th. Good war, all things considered. :)
  16. I would prefer things to go back to 10 million, but if they are not going to, then I support Cowboy's idea.
  17. Some other alliances could learn a lot from this declaration. We love TPC, and we're going to show you how much with bombs and bullets! Here's to a good war. o/ TDO o/ TPC
  18. Good lord, you can't even keep consistency in two posts on the same page.
  19. To: Staccs From: Cowboy Date: 7/8/2015 7:42:47 PM Subject: Smother Eurasia Slowly Message: Yo Staccs Join in slide in w/us or your old gang RE. Lots of xp war and more! We have a slow smother going on, some heavys about to bounce up! This will last till end. I know you would like to get in wake these yahoo's up. Beside your last owf highlighted you to be RE. lol Sooooo let the Great of RE join and kick some Eurasia. cc RE, D1 gov
  20. It's TDO he's trying to poach from, not NDO. But hey, I wouldn't put it past him to be sending these messages to members of all alliances.
  21. So Cowboy is now trying to poach TDO members to join the war against Eurasia. Is there nothing you won't stoop to? Your reckoning will come. In the meantime... Eurasia, please destroy D1.
  22. Dario has every bit as much right to comment on this situation as you do, Cowboy. This had nothing to do with D1 prior to your intervention. Do not shut down people who you disagree with based on it not being their business. And please stop trying to incite coups... I was a Commander of TDO during the peace negotiations of our war; Caladin is leader of Eurasia in this one. No matter your issues with either of us, you have no authority to go behind our backs and try to do peace talks with the general membership of other alliances.
