1.
... wait; who are you?
TTK's micro, its in the OP
 2. Reps have never made sense to me, the fun in this world comes from war, why would you want to make it take longer for the opposing side to be ready for war again?
 3.
I don't see alliances on my side fleeing to hippie /me looks at NATO and almost all of SF/XX
Easy enough to stand there laughing but you're not up against umbrella. No point just throwing your top tier away until you've got the right amount of firepower is there now?
 4. can see myself falling off the top 25 now thanks TOP mojo
 5.
Can you ban us from your forums? Wait, you already did that. Cheers!
no problem.
 6.
Where did government say that, exactly? The only thing about the NSO-Legion front that mattered was that the stagnation of peace between them was forcing Tetris into a situation where they were taking damage well beyond what we found acceptable. If we had only threatened either Legion or NSO with war, then you may have a claim as the bias of our decision, but the fact of the matter is that both were the targets of our announcement. If MK wanted this to escalate why wait until now, and do so in a way that forced the combatants to peace? Ultimately this has all just been conspiracy theories that were ultimately proven false.
i think the main argument against this, is that tetris could have had a seperate peace but chose not to, essentially keeping themselves in the war. I don't believe tetris was forced into anything.
 7.
I still see about a million NS, 87k tech, and almost 100 members, enough for them to be yelling about how they 'wont surrender because they aren't loosing!' up until this announcement, and enough for a large number of people to back them up in saying that. Check back to that topic that closed the day before yesterday. So in short, they are certainly broke, but we can make sure they get broken even more. This though, is not about that, it's an incentive to end the garbage that both them and legion have been piling up around here and let their ally, whose punishment has long since been served, out of the war.
ninja edit. never mind
 8. shame you couldn't of just admitted you were bested and it had to come to this. oh well we've had our fun.
 9. [
Yes, shame on me for assuming the reasons Legion went to war were the reasons they presented in their DoW. If it were really about Varianz spying on them IG, why didn't Legion declare war on NSO. And why did it take so long? Also, to the others: Can you confirm that that info was supplied by Varianz, and not someone else? Can you confirm Varianz is the one that spied that information off Legion's forums? This war is by far one of the dumbest things I've seen in my time on CN. You could have ended it, and walked away with your head held high, and yet your obsession with petty posturing and the wordings of technicalities is why you're still fighting. I was completely content with letting you guys slap each other as long as everyone got their fill, hell, I supported Legion in the initial DoW. But to carry this on because "NSO was mean to us" is completely ridiculous and foolhardy. However, do not assume I am the biased preacher, because I believe NSO had the same power to end the war... even though Legion's government tripped over themselves disagreeing with the context of the surrender and the terms being offered. I think NSO could have admitted defeat, and this would be over, I have already addressed them on the absurdity of refusing (you can ask Varianz to confirm, if you do not believe me).
We did go to war with tetris for the reasons in our DOW, posting images lifted from our private forums. We didn't declare on NSO as we had no proof at the time of var spying however we did have proof of tetris posting the images to the world stage.
 10.
Wasnt it supposed to be over "zomg spais" and such? And we did that whole warchest posting thing with RV? Yeah, "the same kind of thing" certainly sounds like a fitting way to describe it. One could even say it was worse, too, since it was a direct infringement of your alliances sovereignty, rather than a vague "leak" of some kind. And yet you took it, without comment. But you're fighting now, right? And you've gotten some of your targets allies to surrender, all good stuff. But c'mon. This is about Legion being pushed until they couldnt be pushed anymore, rather than anything else, and you know it, I know it, and everyone else knows it.
as far as i'm aware you posted the warchests of our anklebiters which proved to be a moot point anyway as they have been aid bombed as you would expect in an alliance war. Or do i remember incorrectly?
 11.
Im sorry, I didnt realize I was complaining, I thought I was just sitting back and anticipating future events with immense satisfaction, especially considering what the Legion was taking pride in having accomplished thus far. But perhaps you know what I said better than I do, considering I don't recall saying anything even remotely resembling that. I simply must be slipping. Thats a nice line, but considering we did that kind of thing first and your current alliance just sat there and took it, Im inclined to disbelieve that rosy sentiment. It's nice to see that you've calmed down enough to start ripping magnanimous lines off of GATO members, rather than raging in a froth like you have been the past few weeks. Mr. "I cant wait to see you all burn", right? Heh. As I've said elsewhere, you all are winning. There's no need to act desperate when you have the upper hand, you know?
you posted screenshots of our forums on the big boards?
 12.
Admitting deafeat =/= white peace.
indeed. As previously stated in the thread, we don't want another GW1 scenario where NPO tried to e-lawyer it into a victory for them.
 13.
NSO said very mean things about Legion, of course. I would be very careful using that line of thought for continuing a war. Someone might consider that a separate act of aggression toward NSO. You don't have much of an upper tier remaining. It would be a shame if someone were to break what's left of it somehow.
we aren't continuing this war, they mearly need to admit defeat and it will be over.
 14.
Oh so this is about personal vendetta?
it would be a lie if i said we were not really enjoying smashing NSO into next week. but remember they declared on us not the other way around.
 15.
Interesting.. so IAA, BTA and NsO came in on treaties and were granted WP. That's a good show. NSO also came in on a treaty, but they don't get the same offer? Care to explain the difference?
they haven't spent months poorly trolling us?
 16.
21 out of 40 of Legion's top 40 nations are in peace mode. Can we expect them out of peace mode in a few days or did Legion fall back on their previous strategy?
just reloading / collecting
 17. Grats TLR o/ Heres to another year. you've been good friends.
 18.
Correct, and yet I still am doing far better than most of my 5 opponents thus far this war, all but one of which has been anarchied, and the other refuses to do anything other than lob CMs. So, once again we come up to the issue that while I am terrible, you all are still worse.
you're beating our 2-4k NS nations, i'm sure thats going to win the war for NSO /golfclap
 19.
It's also a great use of their NS, instead of filling war slots with enemy nations they fill them with PoW's.
Need to send a message about what happens to people who surrender.
 20.
How about this, Rush. Instead of !@#$%*ing in here about how cowardly Polar is, wait for them all to come out of peacemode and then beat the crap out of them. Don't show mercy, go for the throat. If YOU don't fear a beating and you think that Polar needs their asses kicked, go kick those asses. That's the kind of spirit that made Planet Bob a great place to be, not this sniveling sort of political smearing back and forth and attempts to paint others as weak or incompetent or villainous. I don't think you'll do it. Bold action has too much of a PR cost when you're in a position of power, and everyone's faces twist up in fear and constipation when they think of burning "political capital" or "losing PR". Admin forbid that we have fun, or do something ballsy because it's ballsy and feels like the right thing to do. Not if we're in a position of power, oh no. The era when CnG had leaders who thought and did like that has passed, it would seem. Not all of them, I know for a fact that there are people in TLR leadership who would love to follow those sorts of policies but don't have the power to do so or fight against the overwhelming inertia of the fear of losing PR. :-p I guess that it's only when you're the underdog and have nothing to lose that such ballsy action is tolerated very well. Perhaps that is why we see Legion doing what they do now, because they truly have nothing to lose as an alliance by doing it. Let me tell you, and everyone else here, a little something about what made CnG great. We were made great when we stopped caring about the social conventions of the world, stopped caring about what the people in power thought about us, and decided to rub our balls in everyone's faces. I forget who it was that said that on the CnG boards, maybe it was Wargarden or Hombre from LOST, but they nailed on the head right there what CnG was all about. And that CnG is long since gone. Stumpy, the old Stumpy, was the best damn member our bloc ever had. He got it better than any of us. I got it too back then, as did rsox, corrupt, stormsend, tolk, trace, airme, bob, drai, hombre, wargarden, archon, wing01, and many others that I am not remembering now. Getting power changed *all* of us, and none of us for the better. We were at our best, and Athens was certainly at its best, when #thefreeworld was a place full of dick jokes and !@#$%*ing about NPO. And the reason we even got power wasn't even because any of us made some grand strategic power play. We weren't even really expecting to win. Not our leadership, not our memberships, not anyone. NPO screwed the pooch pretty badly and lost a lot of support in the leadup to the war and in their execution, and Athens had made some damn fine true friends that stood with us when NPO went a CnG-hunting. Archon did a masterful job of speaking for the Karma coalition and steadying some of its shakier members early on, and I certainly played a role in the coalition's success as well, but at the end of the day none of us in CnG were expecting to win even one or two weeks before the Karma war started. I wanted to beat the hegemony back then but I didn't really think it was possible. I fought them anyway, we fought them anyway, CnG fought them anyway, because we believed that they were truly wretched people, because we wanted to make a stand, and because we had nothing left to lose. It was our very lack of power that gave us the courage to stand as a group by our principles, to stop giving a crap about anything else, and those were the days when honor was more important than life or power or PR. I miss them, and CnG as it was then is gone now and has been for quite some time. And I miss that too, a great deal. Because that is what made us great. Do not confuse greatness with political power. They are not the same thing. And most of what is left on Planet Bob is jumping at shadows and paying homage to that all powerful god called PR. I never will. o/ CnG. I remember you as you were. and o/ Legion, for growing some balls. Even if you all are retarded and you're really only doing this because you've hit rock bottom and have nothing left to lose. and o/ RushSykes, for remembering what CnG was and convincing TLR to attack Polar. I cannot speak for Olympus but if that happens I would very much like to see us helping you do that.
thanks....i think
 21.
And the Fact remains, they are only at a 10% disadvantage (Closest war I have ever seen) Legion have dished out 12% NS damage to their enemies, whilst only receiving 10% NS Damage. You do a disservice to Legion in spouting this 6 vs 1 stupidity, when with proper facts it is seen they are currently holding their own.
we're only doing well so far because their top tier hides in peace. When they come out i'm fairly sure we're screwed, we could destroy them on their own but combined it doesn't look great
 22. i'm sure i'll be creeping up the ranks now, only 400kish from the top 25
 23.
You can't really work out how anything is going this short into the conflict. I assume legion will be running out of money by day 3 and that's when the NS will start to drop, however.
i'm fairly sure the NsO warchests aren't that great either.
