  1. A Møøse once bit my sister... No realli! She was Karving her initials on the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - a Stockholm dentist and star of many Swedish møvies: "The Høt Hands of a Stockholm Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink"... Come to Pax Corvus for the coffee - stay for the lingonberries!
  2. We also make kick-ass Swedish meatballs! :awesome:
  3. What does bloodthirstiness have to do with neutrality? If the neutrals in question are pacifists - then yeah, I guess. But neutrality =/= pacifism; it merely means we don't take sides.
  4. "Co-Neutrality Sphere"? Sounds uncomfortably like ben-wa balls.
  5. Congratulations, and welcome to the ranks of the Sanctioned! :) (Oh, and another cool dark monochromatic pip!)
  6. I need to disagree here. The Rosular Kingdom is not '3 different alliances' in the same sense that GPA, TDO and WTF would be. It is one alliance - they've just decided to use the 'alliance' structure to separate their military, leadership and farmers into different management units. Since Blackwater and Realm of the Rose have never been - nor never will be - independent alliances, it's inaccurate to say OBR was never neutral.
  7. Oldtimers still tend to think of the Realm of the Rose as 'neutral' since they were - once upon a time. You are right, of course, that they are independent and practice 'strategic neutrality' rather than 'philosophic neutrality' like the mainstream neutralist alliances.
  8. Hmm...help me out here. - TOP stays out of an alliance war for six months and rebuilds to reach sanction status, and it's earned; - PAX stays out of an alliance war for pretty much always and builds to reach sanction status - and it's not earned? What am I missing here - other than a desolate countryside?
  9. Well, technically it's 'monochromatic' - but thanks! Yeah, this time of year pips have to be imported from Brazil - now that the holidays are over, the delivery schedules should tighten up. :ehm:
  10. Congratulations to the new management of perhaps the most 'idiosyncratic' of the neutral alliances. :ehm: Also, a heartfelt 'huzzah' for Rooman and the Earl.
  11. One Ayn Rand, coming up! We aim to please... ;)
  12. Reghar is indeed a fine addition to our fellowship. We put Caladin to work running our holiday soup kitchen. After the holidays are over, we'll put him in harness. ;) Well, Bob, since competency is never commonplace here on Digiterra - we thank you for your compliment. :) (Oh, and I dig the Fargo sig!) If by 'politically active' you mean Machiavellian, then we'll have to kindly decline. Besides, I think you got the leg up when you hired Schattenmann and his crew. But - since Neutrals are known for their impartiality, if you have need for a referee between factions - by all means give us a jingle! :D
  13. GPA has been pixel hoarding for a lot longer than we have. ;)
  14. I've passed your comment on to our scribe. Thanks.
  15. Incorrect. The Apparatus no longer exists (they merged into Pax Corvus). We are, in fact, a neutral alliance.
  16. Sorry - it actually IS 'tinpot dictators'. http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/tin-pot_dictator
  17. After having read through this entire morass, I've pondered the sentence that brought the GOP in, and the conclusion I've reached is: while it is understandable that they reached the conclusion they did, the sentence in fact could be saying something different. If one posits that the word 'infidel' has both a corporate meaning as well as referring to individual nations, it changes the meaning of the sentence. Thus "Every Mushlim, after this event, will seek out and destroy a certain neutral alliance starting with the most vulnerable of international infidels." can mean: - "...destroy a certain neutral alliance (to be named later) starting with TDO." or - "...destroy TDO starting with its most vulnerable members." It is apparent that the two sides are arguing over which meaning is meant, mostly for the spin benefit towards us in the peanut gallery. It is unlikely that they'll ever convince each other.
