1. Honour to be fighting you, here's to getting this sorted out soon. SR.
2.
Hey, I would refuse to pay reps in this situation if I were Mongols as well, but then again I guess we share things like "pride" and "self-respect," which are likely foreign to an alliance like yours. I've always thought that distinction was where we differ to the greatest extent.
Cause GOONS never fought a long term resistance movement against a more powerful, belligerent alliance. Hell, let's say neither did VE while we're at it. SR.
3. o/ INT good to see TPF is still around, one of my all time favourite flags. SR.
4. Sad news. AiD is a very old alliance by todays standings. Best wishes to you all! SR.
5.
Their foreign policy is apparently to be the personal body guard of the The International. Three times out of the last three major wars according to their Wiki, and on the winning (i.e., aggressive) side each time...coming in on an oA clause once. So while I'm sure you're happy for the support, it's not exactly a shining example of peaceful independence. Not having a strong authority within your alliance is great and all, but kind of pointless if the best you can come up with as a group is being the meatshield of an MK meatshield.
Speaking as a player who once upon a time took part in the peace negotiations which saw LSF freed from an endless stomping launched upon them by one of the forms Nordreich took in previous years, I would offer up the suggestion that the significant role played by the International in allowing the LSF the freedom to actually pick their battles might have something to do with their continued loyalty to the International in this regard. I would dare to suggest this gives LSF a more legitimate grounding for continued support of their brothers in the International than that which binds a significant portion of allies on planet bob. SR. EDIT: Also great to see you still doing your own thing LSF. ride on.
6. Delighted to see the new heights to which The International has climbed. Craig has done you proud at the top.
7. Fairly standard take on Alliance political structuring. Perhaps another angle worth considering is exactly what democracy in a Cybernations alliance enables it to do. As I have observed economic policy doesnt tend to vary greatly- Tech Dealing, Trade Circles, and aid flows have all become commonly respected and endorsed practices for growth, their is not an ongoing debate as to the most effective ways to grow alliance strength. Similarly in war ultimately fighting capacity is entirely limited by activity/organization, something which a more autocratic approach tends to assure more easily. Foreign Policy is the only real area in which a democracy could be seen to have a claim to a superior approach, and that would hinge entirely on the argument that Autocratic alliances don't consider majority opinion in making their decisions- which in a world of floating nation subjects wouldnt do much for their continued strength.
