Most of us here would graciously accept the outcome of a war in a week, or two, or three. Most of us here wouldn't DoW an alliance immediately after they had war. You choose to spit in the face of acceptable behavior. No alliance will respect the character of your alliance in the future.

You should be ashamed for other reasons. Leading your alliance on an ignorant path...being an asshat...keeping a war going, no matter how lame it has become... Play the way you want to play, but don't be surprised when the gentlemen here resent you for it. Can't wait 'til some alliance DoWs on you next round. And then, the day peace is declared. And then, the day peace is declared. It's lame, but you set the precedence.

I fought the the same two nations (plus one more) you're fighting now, Paul. They are tough.

There's no sense in this continuing, at all. And yet, it drags on.

I think it's a strategy to be known as a pain in the ass to war - for future rounds. One guy begged me for peace. I bet he re-rolled. Another guy attacked me and when he realized he couldn't beat me he sent a peace offer (after the first day). It's tacky...not honorable.

This makes two wars, right? The first being very early in the round. Not at all a criticism of RE's war record...more of a salute to a well played early game, middle game, and can't wait to see the end game.
