  1. o/ TSO You may not have my sword... but you'll always have my heart.
  2. I've always enjoyed my dealings with The Order of the Black Rose. I wish you all the best of luck in your hopefully bright future. The world needs more classy people.
  3. Yeah, maybe this just isn't possible to make it work.
  4. Face needs to be more jokerish, with the appropriate scars. I haven't looked through every garfield image out there but none that i have seen are going to work, but I'd like him to be looking slightly downward... Ssomething similar to: Probably need to be re-drawn, not just re colored. I really don't see this being possible as anything other then a completely custom image, but, then I don't do graphic design, so it's possible I could be mistaken.
  5. I'd like to see some sort of evidence that you're capable of the task... Because your current avatar does not exactly inspire confidence. Show me something you've made, and I'll send you some money.
  6. I've got a design in mind I've been wanting for a long time... It's pretty tough IMO. I had a RL friend supposedly working on it... but apparently that got kicked in the head. It's kind of a tough one, I basically want Garfield Smiling in the Joker makeup from The Dark Knight. Scar's and all. All I really need is the face, preferable with that downcast gaze in many of the Movie posters. Needs to be more sinister then funny, but still have that touch of humor in it. Please let me know if you think you can do that, and if you'd be willing to give it a shot. Or if you know someone who might be able/interested. If this is not an appropriate place to ask for such, It's the best I could find, Feel free to move to a better spot or tell me where I should put this.
  7. Schweet! I'd hail that! Love to the FCC as alway's. Always good to see the family expanding. Also.... Can I date some of your SISTERs?
  8. Cool. That's pretty awesome. Nice to see Citadel expanding in such a great direction. Hail!
  9. I know it's old fashioned to say the least. But it is possible to be friendly and gentlemanly in war as well as in peace. It's entirely possible to be friendly about kicking the stuffing out of each other. And some of us choose to draw a line between attacking our friend and nukeing our friend. In place of your "You attack my friend, I will nuke you to hell. Deal with it!" some of us would prefer to put: "You attack my friend, and I will stomp the heck out of you conventionally. You nuke my friend and I will nuke you back to the stone age. Deal with it!" Neither is "Right" or "Wrong" they're just degrees of distinction. I see a difference between a reasonably well conducted friendly conflict, and out and out full scale knock down drag out nuke free Rumbles. And I think in that I am not alone. Edit: The words in Italics were held up by a traffic collision and are thus late to the party. Edited again for clarity. That last sentence of the first paragraph makes SO much more sense attached to the next paragraph. So now it is.
  10. I'm sorry, but apparently Saber and I missed the open Declaration that Karma was going to nuke all of it's oponents to a burning cinder. Either that or our invitations to the Super Secret Squirrel Clubhouse where this was discussed got misplaced. As far as I've been informed, there was no overarching discussion nor agreement upon tactics. The fact that certain more bloodthirsty members of the conglomerate known as Karma chose to open hostilities with nuclear weapons is their choice. Not anyone else's. In the absence of an open declaration or a unified agreement on tactics our choices are as legitimate as yours. Neither is "Poor Form" and neither is superior. They are just different. And either of us going hunting for an ulterior motive merely so that you or I can stand on a high horse and point fingers seems silly wouldn't you agree? As to smaller nations in your hypothetical scenario, they wouldn't have been eating nukes at all unless someone fired the first one. From TOP's and TSO's experience Echelon was for the most part capable of NOT pushing the button. So since we know who it WASN'T Who was it who caused the furball to go nuclear I wonder?
  11. Nuclear rogues. NOT a coordinated nuclear strike. As I recall, it was two specific individuals. It may have been three. But regardless, it was not authorized, nor was it alliance wide. We in TSO chose not to punish the entire alliance for the rash actions of a select few. In fact, I find it hard to believe that Anyone in good conscious could do otherwise. A full blown retaliation was not in order, so we did not order it. Had Echelon launched a coordinated strike, or had they not disavowed the Nuclear Rogues who did strike members of TSO then our wrath would have been felt. But Echelon's leadership were quite civil and reasonable throughout the whole thing. And while ONE of our members who was nuked felt that SOME reparations were in order. Not one person in our alliance felt that the terms offered to Echelon were something that any of us wished to be associated with. You can choose not to believe me to your own folly. But I don't just speak for myself when I say that Infra is meaningless. There are a number of alliances that I personally would go to ZI for/with. TSO and TOP are both on that list. And I don't think there's a Single member of TSO who wouldn't be willing to go to ZI for a good joke or a mediocre Pun. Let alone our honor or the honor of our allies. You who claim that honor to already be lost, or tarnished beyond repair... It's not from where I'm standing. Edit: Fixed the last line to read clearer.
  12. Perhaps it could have been had TOP and TSO had an opportunity to discuss the terms with the Victorious alliances Prior to meeting with Echelon to present the terms. Which is kind of what the OP was about. Edit: Furthermore, that's evidently what Members of TSO/TOP gov THOUGHT they were walking into when it was actually Victor's presenting terms to Echelon. And it was mentioned earlier, You'll have to forgive me I forced myself to delve through the whole thread so I lost track of where, that We (TSO and TOP) could have easily signed on the same treaty that will eventually be negotiated and simply declined reparations. But there were a number of terms that ALL alliances accepting the surrender would have been obligated to enforce. Number 11 and 10 referenced above being a selection of them. I personally, and every other member of TSO I've heard of, and most of the TOP members I know well, would think VERY carefully before signing on ANY treaty stipulation that had an indefinite duration. Others were in poor taste even if they were a "Joke". Finally. Members of TSO were hit by nuclear rogues from Echelon in this conflict. So it's not as though nobody at all on TSO/TOP's side suffered nuclear anarchy. Edited to add the line of text that is immediately after the word "Edit".
  13. Always nice to see people NOT whining about how unfair war is. o/
  14. Despite not having read the rest of the thread... Or perhaps because of it, I found this exchange here on this page rather amusing. I just felt you should know that(That's a collective you by the way.) Additionally, and possibly more to the point: RandomInterrupt, Certain events in the past had caused me to dislike you. However, especially in light of the new era in which we stand on Digiterra, I just don't see the point of staying resentful. Granted, a public forum may not be the best place to say this... But I'm perfectly willing to wipe the slate clean and forget about what may or may not have gone before. And who was/was not responsible, right, etc. etc. etc. Fair enough? Shall we let the bygone's be? Up to you. My warmest regards and humblest respects,
  15. I'm hailing this... o/ Also... MUCH <3 to TFD.
  16. Excellent treaty. Umbrella are good people to have as friends. And )): GOONS )): Even though I possibly shouldn't have... I've alway's liked you guy's. And I loved you people while I was on the Moon.
  17. I find this most intriguing. I will certainly watch what develops from this with Great interest.
  18. Nice to see peace getting a chance. I guess this is what's left when we run out of white peace on planet bob.
  19. When have either TOP or we claimed we were a part of Karma? We(that's a collective we by the way) are merely fighting against the same foe they are. As for the Obligation that has been claimed... We are not obligated by the wording of the treaty we have signed with TOP. As stated elsewhere that is an MDoAP. We are obligated by the relationship we have with them. There is NOWHERE TOP would lead that we won't follow. In the case of some alliance this could never be said. But most of us in TSO know and trust our friends on TOP enough that we KNOW that they would never have any desire to go and do something we would not be willing to support. In short, unless the leadership and character of TOP changes DRASTICALLY or we enter some Bizzaro Mirror universe where Saber's evil twin rules TOP with an IRON first, TSO will ride with TOP. In battle, in peace, in sickness and in health, and ALWAYS to the bar. Unless TOP specifically asks us NOT to get involved... We'll be right there by their side. Hail to The Order of the Paradox. Hail The Sweet Oblivion o/ German ESL commanders Note: ESL= English as a Second Language Edited: Because I've got the same problems as the above.
  20. I Really want to know how this time TOP speed took longer then FCC speed. I seem to remember some hair pulling over the latter in the past. Apparently Monarchies fix things. TOPers, please don't say ALL your allies don't respect you. Additionally... Hail Paradoxia! Finally, just so you know, I love you guy's.
  21. I don't think anyone else actually has. Or... if they did they didn't make public their appreciation of same. As nice as this overall idea is IN THEORY... I along with my nations people, being rather extreme libertarians, will have to oppose this plan in any and all way's we are able. Except... We'll probably still send cookies to all those involved. Cause... I mean... They're cookies!
  22. My condolences go out to your affected member. Things like this give me hope for our society. Honor and kindness in war may not be the easiest thing to do. But it's certainly the RIGHT thing to do.
  23. You guy's know I love you. But I don't think this is going to end well for your side. Ok, yeah, it's a little early for that kind of sentiment... But that's just my gut feeling. Of course... It really id close enough numbers wise it COULD be anybodies war. ML
