1.
Tetris is losing NS and already had a nation leave for POW camp, NSO has not done much at all, and Legion continues to gain NS. It is all in the charts on CN itself. Not that hard to find. Tetris- On 10/3 they had 1,060,161 and today are at 970,357 NSO- On 10/3 they had 2,710,425 and today are at 2,800,168 (Though, on 10/2 they were at 2,897,332 so not sure what happened with the 187k drop from 2nd to 3rd) Legion- On 10/3 they had 6,115,728 and today are at 6,158,710 Legion has 41 in anarchy (17%) and 198 not in anarchy NSO has 7 in anarchy (5.5%) and 121 not in anarchy Tetris has 24 in anarchy (65%) and 13 not in anarchy I would say, yes NSO has not been dealt any damage yet and is still quite viable in the fight but Tetris has been hit hard and can launch limited offensive wars back as well as having lost a 76k NS nation to POW status. Combined, the Tetris/NSO has 17 in PM (9 and 8 respectively) which is just over 10% of their total nations (165 between the two alliances) and Legion has only 15 in PM or just over 6% of their alliance. NSO alone has around the same percentage (just over 6%) in PM as Legion, and Tetris has 24% in PM. Since VE is not coming in, Legion will most likely win this war despite all the claims to their paper tiger status. All the numbers indicate that Tetris is getting hit hard and this beating will only most likely get worse as the war progresses. So, yes, I would currently say that Legion is winning this war. We shall see tomorrow what kind of damage Tetris/NSO has done to Legion and how much Legion has done to Tetris/NSO as well. But as of today, Legion is winning.
So, what you are telling me is Legion went into battle not fully militarized, more than 75% of Tetris' NS loss comes from one nation leaving and this means Legion is winning?
 2.
..You realize Legion still put all but 2 of Tetris' war-mode nuke capable nations in Anarchy, right? Again, not going to start calling them competent, but they did exactly what they needed to wrt Tetris.
Anarchy is a very small aspect of the type of conflict we see nowadays. You can't measure how crippling an initial attack is by anarchy alone.
 3.
Ave Legio! Also, I am amused that Legion is winning this war. Yes, we know that Tetris/NSO combined are smaller than Legion in # of nations and amount of NS, but from what I could tell, many were saying it would only take a handful to roll up Legion. Also, I am thoroughly amused that Legion already has a POW from Tetris. I am hoping that all parties involved stay the only parties involved and beat the snot out of one another.
Please present some statistics.
 4.
Considering Legion got more than half of the nations in Tetris into anarchy, I don't think they're doing bad at all despite not bothering with an update blitz. Update blitz aren't even that important in nuclear wars regardless.
Your first sentence would be a more effective tool at measuring military success if the alliances were closer to the same size. And, nuclear war or not, success can still be measured in the effectiveness of the initial and subsequent strikes given the use of various tactics to eliminate a person's ability to maintain a nuclear arsenal.
 5.
I hate to do it, but Legion's plan seems somewhat reasonable. They were able to draw in the counter-attack on the same day as the original attack, which means they only have to fight a single update worth of battles before calling in reinforcements (if they even choose to call them in). They also kept their offensive war count low, allowing better defense of the counter. Now, I'm not going to start throwing around the 'C' word when referring to Legion just yet.. but what they did seems like a smart move, even if it was an accident.
I have no faith whatsoever that they could've planned that on their own, meaning it was an accident or someone is pulling their strings. Also, I'd call into question the validity of that argument based on the fact that a good blitz has the potential to incapacitate an enemy enough to make taking on another more absorb-able.
 6.
ooh, maybe that's Tyga's agenda.
Doubtful. Tyga's agenda involves snack cakes.
 7.
Anyone else find it funny that NSO+Tetris have declared more wars than Legion 76-57
Yes. If by "funny," you mean "indicative of how terribly planned this was."
 8.
So Legion's great plan was to lose their sanction before update? Hi Stormsend, Maverick! Sorry I moved the post but I was looking for this post to respond to. Edited by Jenny
Hello, Moo-Cows.

 10.
Storm, I get the feeling that you've not interacted with 50% of Bob's diplomats.
I have seen plenty in my time, boy. See my gray beard and live in awe.
 11.
Cake or Pie isn't good intel?
Pansy "Cake" and "pie" are food. Are we confusing our nouns again?
 12.
Is it honestly your contention that dsitributing spied intel is not a CB? That was half the fun of TWiP.
To be fair, you were stealing valuable intel.
 13.
Its ashamed, Legion done no such thing to provoke Tetris on their actions of recent, unless I am mistaken? Legion has every right to declare. Besides, war is always fun; it brings the Cyberverse back to life. cheers.
I hope RV kicked you out of the University of Colorful Posting.
 14.
hey Legion
I have bad news. *Card's effects not included.
 15. I think the one thing Tetris should be punished for is the choice of alliances to spy on.
 16.
It looks to me that nobody is discussing the reasons for the war. it looks to me that Legion has all the right in this one. Supporting tetris is pretty unfaiir.
And I don't even know who they are.
 17.
Just for those of you thinking that Legion actually thought about what they are doing.... SIX HOURS BEFORE UPDATE?????? DERP. Edited by Jeff, a friend
Bravo~
 18.
Well, no one was kind enough to offer us some "MEAT"
Sorry, Lambchop. I'll remember next time.
 19.
I swear the last time I remember Legion launching an offensive war, it was against TOP and FAN. This IS a big deal.
I think it's more impressive that they had a thought all by themselves for the first time in...
 20.
That's you drooling, old man.
You are incredibly mean and I hate you.
 21.
You know its not all of purple, right? Stormie, I thought better of you than lumping us all together.
I don't count you as Purple. "Purple" refers to the global wastebin. You are "Unfortunately Placed."
You can say that again. Or is it maybe because the two of us are back that these things are happening?
I am overcome with emotion.
 22. I apparently became active at exactly the right time. Thank you for the second Christmas, Purple.
 23.
Lately it's been like Polaris is the pretty girl in school, and the rest of you are all the shy kid asking her friends if they think she likes you, and if they'd be willing to ask her out for you. Why not just go right up to her and ask her to dance? Make your move. Better do it before the hunky quarterback asks her out to prom, and you guys wind up having to go with your sister.
This metaphor is about as accurate as a drunk moose playing darts in a pitch black aquarium on Penny Pitcher Fridays at the bar on St. Patrick's Day.
