  1. (CNRPA) (Semi-Classified) Even with the recent growth in numbers in the armed forces, logistics were still coming up far short for the combined needs of enforcement of the Marco Doctrine and defense of UCS proper. A further 90,000 soldiers have been recruited, bringing the total number of troops to 230,000 soldiers. (Public) The first phase of the tunnel construction is going forward as planned and making excellent progress. Thanks to the project many new jobs have been opened up and the employment numbers are at an all time high, and is only predicted to grow as construction continues.
  2. Diego Bautista was a short Hispanic, but was incredible shape his muscles very noticeable under his clothes, which were very plain to protect his identity as a soldier. He gave a quick salute before speaking. "I would like to extend my greetings for the UCS. We hear you have been putting up a hell of fight despite the lack of proper military training and equipment, and were honored to help you secure your freedom. Our second wave of supplies will already include military trainers and advisors to assist you in your efforts but we would like to know what else you need to end this bloodshed has quickly as possible."
  3. Response "Much hatred and animosity towards the men still remain among the tribes. Moving them to the reservations is in order to ensure their protection and maintain peace, unlike in the past when we were forced out of our land to feed the growing empire that was America. We also thank you for your recognition."
  4. A young Native took a seat at the head of a table. Around the table sat cheifs from tribes all over the nation who had moved into Florida. "Today is a great day, its the day we finally accomplish what our Ancestors fought and died for, so many years ago." The Chiefs all nodded and murmured their agreement. The man turned to the Chief nearest him, who represented the Comanche tribes "How goes the relocation?" "It goes well, the white men have been moved onto their reservations and the state is now firmly in our control. There is a few pockets of resistance, primarily on the keys, but with the cooperation of the other war chiefs it won't be a problem." "Excellent, then I will make my address to the world." Public "Today marks a grand day for the Natives of America. The day where we finally reclaim what is ours, atleast a small portion of it. No more will we be tolerate being second class citizens, looked down on by the white man. This is a new world, and a new country. Already dozens of tribes have banded together in the common interest of freedom and prosperity for our people's. We call out to any Natives that still live under the oppression of the white man. We are here, we can offer you freedom, equality, and peace. Come join us! And to any who would dare try and oppress us again will learn the true might of the Natives of America, and will be crushed by our will! You have been warned."
  5. Changing this to Florida, name it the South East Tribes.
  6. Claiming south Carolina as the Cherokee republic. Always wanted to RP a native American nation :P.
  7. To the Republicans "Captain Diego Bautista, who led the recent mission to supply your forces is qualified to meet in representation of our nation. If you'd rather meet with more higher up leaders, transportation aboard the cargo ships can be arranged, it won't be any luxury cruise but you will be made as comfortable as possible. Several teams of our black wasps will be left behind to assist in training your forces, you will find they are well trained in various strategies and tactics, from fighting disorganized militias to elite militaries."
  8. Response to the Rike "Relations between our nations is definitely possible. A diplomat will be sent ASAP." -UCS Foreign Command Juan would be sent to wherever the meeting would take place.
  9. A dozen cargo ships left the coast of brazil, their destination Bordeaux. Any attempts to trace the ships and crew would link back to a independent shipping company based in Brazil. In reality however, the ships were owned by the UCS and its crews were black wasps, the UCS elite soldiers. The ships would be filled with weapons and military equipment of all shapes and sizes. Small arms, anti-air weaponry, mortars and artillery, mobile radars, and much much more was loaded onto the ship. The weaponry would trace back to various south american militias and warlords, ensuring nothing could fall back on the UCS. The ships would split up taking different routes in order to avoid suspicion, and would take all efforts possible to avoid detection. As the ships approached Boredaux, a team of black wasps would be sent into the city to meet with the Republicans and discuss where to deliver the supplies, aswell as to offer their allegiance in the fight for freedom.
  10. (CNRPA) (Public, OP-Rec) A new project has been unveiled by the UCS engineering sector, a highspeed highway/tunnel system is under construction to connect all the major islands of the nation. The tunnel will be constructed witn lightweight flexible alloys, allowing it to bend easily and survive even the strongest of earthquakes. Nanotechnology would also find its way into the construction, multiple layers of nanites would be put in place allowing for near immediate responses and repairs of any leaks that surfaced. The tunnels will consist of an 8 lane highway, with on and off ramps connecting different tunnels where they intersect. A second floor would hold rail tracks for highspeed trains, though trains were rarely used anymore. The tunnels would also have advanced fiber optics setup to allow for easy monitoring of the tunnel system and to detect any problems that arise. As a last line of defense against flooding, blast shields will be strategically placed throughout the tunnels, which will respond immediately in the event of a breach and seal off the flooding section. Construction will go on in three phases. Phase one would be the construction of Tunnels connecting Jamaica to Cuba, Hispanolia to Cuba, and Puerto Rico to Hispanolia.
  11. (CNRPA) (Semi-classified) With the revolution now complete in California UCS forces would return to home. The FOB in the Chihuahua airport would be abandoned, and a new more permanent base would be established. The base would be created to house over a twenty thousand soldiers, although a permanent force of about 1,000 soldiers would be present except in times of crises. The base would come with its own airport, as well as radar and air defenses. Across the lands protected by the Marco, similar bases would be constructed in order to enforce the doctrine. Radars across the land would be brought back online and incorporated into Caribbean shield. In order to boost the nations defenses and allow for more flexibility, the military has been increased by seventy thousand men. Enough to create three divisions, two of which would towards enforcement of the Marco Doctrine and be deployed into central and southern America.
  12. The UCS Armor batallions would enter LA and take up defensive positions around the city, determined to defend the separatist capital. With them would come the advanced weapons of the UCS military, which would be supplied to the separatist forces to even the battle field. The remaining forces in the 2nd division would secure a route from the FOB in Tijuana to LA, aswell as move out to repair the damaged radars which had been hit earlier. With southern cali now under sepratist control it was doubtful they would meet much, if any, resistance. Nevertheless, they would be given access to artillery and air support, overwhelming whatever loyalist forces remained. Once radars were brought back online air operations would continue, this time to support the separatist forces in central Cali. The EAI and of course WAPF would be made aware of UCS radar positions to prevent accidental attacks. A message would be sent to the Loyalists "We have stood by has, on more then one occasion brought the California Republic to the brink of war. You are now considered a hostile and rouge government, and we will provide the peoples of California the means to put ab end to your inept rule. Surrender and you will be placed under UCS custody to face a fair trial, or you can take your chances with the revolutionaries, who may not be so merciful. The choice is yours." A message would also be sent to the Separatists "Our forces have moved into Southern Cali and will keep it secure while you move north. Our airforce ad artillery will be made available to support your advancements, and we will provide you with the military equipment you need to win this fight. Good luck."
  13. "Why do we care? Let the damn Californians kill each other." President Marco sat in his office, several of his military advisors and Generals around him. "Well, a Regime change in a country that has been so problematic recently could be a good thing. Plus if this little coup of Marxons is successful, they'll be in our debt." Marco thought for a moment. "Very well, you will be given command of the second division for operations in California, aswell as the air assets we have in Mexico. I won't be giving you anything more then that, so make due with what you got." The General nodded "That will be more then enough." Tijuana, Mexico Sat Ops had already been watching California, and had noted the locations of radars and air defense positions in southern California. Awacs would move along the border, giving more coverage and looking for loyalist defenses. Artillery and missile systems in Tijuana, Mexicali, and Tecate came to life and began knocking out radar and air defenses. At the same time, three Armored batallions would smash through defenses on the border, and head in the direction of LA. In the air, two squadrons of F-15s would provide air support for the advancing UCS armor, hitting positions where the enemy has dug in or are grouped together, aswell as targetting hostile armor. Four squadrons of SU-35s would head in the direction of Los Angeles, along with another squadron of F-15s and accompanying EW aircraft. The aircraft would begin jamming enemy radars (if any survived) and communications, while F-15s would pick off any remaining radar and air defense positions. AWACs would travel up the coast of southern California, not far behind the SU-35s. It was determined that most of Californias airforce in southern Cali was currently above LA and likely armed for air to surface operations, making them unprepared when the UCS's SU-35s made its way onto the scene. They would engage the loyalist aircraft with their R-77 missiles, attempting to force the retreat of the enemy and establish air superiority above LA. (You left so had to make due with the limited info I had.)
  14. OOC: Peter and I have reached a conclusion where the Baja population is optionally canon, so I will no longer be pursuing that. IC: With California pulling out of Baja the ban on its economic traffic through the canals would be lifted. All that was left to deal with now was the Texans, and with the Plains Federation bearing down on them it was doubtful they would resist. A message would be delivered to Texas "As we understand it, Texas proper is under threat by the Plains Federation. We will allow your forces to pass through Northern Mexico to defend Texas. We hope you accept so we may put an end to this whole situation."
  15. "We of course are more then willing to meet to discuss the situation but has it stands, the Peninsula is protected under the UCS's Marco doctrine, and California has pulled out. (PD is going to aswell, he just hasn't RP'd it.)
  16. "Hello, can you please say tell us your name?" A reporter stood in Mexicali with young Latino Male, no older then 25. "My name is Alejandro." The man said softly. In the background UCS soldiers and Humanitarian workers could be seen distributing aid and attending to Meixcan citizens."Can you tell us what happened during the Californian occupation?" The man went silent for a moment, visibly shaken. "It's ok, your a safe." Finally the man started talking. "At first they were friendly, offering us citizenship into the republic, offering to help better our lives. We believed they truly had our best interests at heart. Well most of us did, there were some, my brother one of them, that didn't want to join California, that we had to have pride in our Mexican heritage, that one day we would rise again. They were the first to disappear. More and more of us began to grow suspicious, and the disappearances only got more frequent. Then we heard rumors that the Caribbean had come to help us, to help all of Mexico one day join the world. We asked he Californians to leave, but they refused. We joined togther in peaceful protest, and that, thats when the beatings began. They beat down anyone who dared oppose them, some to the point of death. Finally we heard they were leaving, we thought we were free. We were wrong, they had one last horrible act, to punish us I can only assume. They broke into our houses in the middle of the Night, and loaded our people onto trucks at gun point. They took my wife, they took my newborn son, they mine aswell of taken my life." The man broke down, sobbing heavily. "To the people's of California, I just want my family back. I beg of you, let them come back to me." "There you have it ladies and gentlemen, this is UCS news, live from the Baja Peninsula where a terrible tragedy has taken place. Many on the Peninsula are now asking themselves, will they ever see their loved ones again?"
  17. Operation Baja Blast Mechanized Infantry Battalions would be sent from Chihuahua to fhe cities of Mexicali, Tijuana, and Tecate, backed with air support. Not far behind them, heavier batallions were on the way to reinforce the positions. Once the rest of the division caught up, they would spread out covering highways and major road ways, effectively cutting off the Peninsula from further Californian deployments. They would find that the peninsula had been abandoned by the Californian military, and the people's lives had returned to normal. In the air, AWACs would begin searching for any signs of Californian military still operating on the Peninsula. In the event they were in fact still in Baja, their positions would be noted for future use if war began. (OOC: short of you rounding up the people of Baja and killing them, I won't be recognizing whatever that is above. You can't RP the citizens of a territory you don't own, IIRC)
  18. "We have shown plenty of patience in this situation. Remove your forces from the peninsula."
  19. Public "After careful deliberation both inside the national government and internationaly, the UCS has decided to edit the Marco Doctrine to also include the Baja Peninsula. This comes after both Texas and California have demonstrated, very clearly, that they both lack the qualifications to handle this situation and to handle governing the Peninsula. We will not sit idly by as these nations prepare to subject the innocent peoples of the Peninsula to the horrors of war. Texas and California, you are now in violation of the Marco Doctrine and are ordered to leave the Baja Peninsula immediately. We strongly recommended your compliance." -President Marco (Relevant logs: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?/topic/125041-cnrpa-private-conversation-thread/#entry3353920)
  20. "If you wish to make peace, we suggest you meet with the Texans, or take the offer we have provided. We will not be putting further effort into achieving peace for you, to have it thrown in our faces."
  21. To Texas and California "So be it." Public "It has become clear neither Texas nor California truly want a peaceful resolution, one refusing to Negotiate while the other refuses to compromise. In light of this recent revelation, measures are being taken. First the Canals would be closed off to both Texan and California shipping, be it military or economic. All Texan air and land forces traveling through Northern Mexico would be ordered to leave the territory, as they were on violation of the Marco Doctrine. A no fly zone would be established for the duration of the fight. This was done to ensure the safety of those who fell under the Marco Doctrine. Of course, The UCS's offer was still available for either party to accept, but it appears as though a peaceful resolution to this conflict is unattainable."
  22. Adriana shook her hand warmly. "Thank you, I hope Greece is also fairing well?" She would invite Alexa into the Capital building, walking a short distance down a hall into a meeting room. "Would you like anything to eat or drink?" She would ask as she offered Alexa a seat. Taking her own seat, she would have a quick sip of water before talking again. "We we're very surprised to have you request a meeting, especially as I understand it your dealing with a conflict in Bulgaria. So what brings you to Havana?"
  23. Classified The Texan deployments would not go without notice by the UCS. With tensions rising on the Baja Peninsula, the threat of the conflict spreading further into Mexico could not be ignored. The second Army division would be activated and deployed into Mexico, to the city of Chihuahua. A FOB wouldbe established at the local airport, and heavy equipment would be brought in and setup around the city. AA, artillery, mobile radar systems, and the likes would all be setup, turning the city into a fortress. AWACs would be deployed into Mexico, focusing on the Mexican Texas border and the California Gulf. SU-35s would patrol the skies above Mexico, again concentrating on Northern Mexico. The UCS navy would be brought to full alert, and would move into position on the Edge of the Gulf of Mexico. Public Notice From the UCS "The UCS has watched over the past few days while tensions on the Baja Peninsula have reached new heights. In order to ensure the innocent peoples of Mexico are protected, and to enforce the Marco doctrine, a military presence has been established in Northern Mexico. Let this serve as warning to both Texas and California, expansion of the Baja conflict into Mexico will not be Tolerated. We urge both nations to respect our warnings, or both nations will face the wrath of the UCS. We also urge for a diplomatic solution to the situation, and as always we are willing to serve as a mediator if both parties wish." -Signed President Marco of the United Caribbean States
