I doubt you will ever see the evidence.  The narrative doesn't require evidence, it never has and never will.  You can either win the war or you can not.  If you CAN, you ask for evidence; if you CANNOT, who cares?

The bigger question is will anyone else care either?  COBRA is unloved and has done nothing to inspire loyalty or friendship from anyone who matters.  NG still have some friends, but will their friends risk everything to charge the gates of hell on their behalf?

But there for the grace of God go I?

Believe I fixed that for you.  A quicker way would have been "Might Makes Right,"  but that's just me paraphrasing a guy who everyone insists I vote for.

No, I don't. You were in SRA, ergo a micro. You've been on the KoRT AA for 60 days, no one cares about you. Besides, KoRT has 15 offensive wars, that's pathetic and below even a micro level.

Ouch, c'mon man, I'm right here reading this!

Speaking of which, I just waded through 14 pages of crap posting in the hopes of finding out exactly what the CB for this war is, and I think I've still walked away empty handed (although my eyes may have glazed over in the middle).

Can a reasonable person -- preferably from the attacking side, preferably someone in leadership -- calibrate me to the specific causes of this conflict?  Still a bit confused.

Not sure what you all plan to do, but I'm sure there will be peace when you are done.

It's kind of incumbent unpon the founder at this point that, should the AA disband, the announcement indicates that said members are "laying their weary heads to rest".

I can't pretend to know much about who 'we' were fighting against or even with for that matter - there was a reason I abdicated and went inactive, after all! - but reading the first and last page of this thread - which is about all the motivation I can muster at this point - has me missing Kashmir, COBRA, and SRA.

    Hi guys!

Back in my day we warred SRA/stripes and kashmir for years... and we were happy

Those were the days my friend

    We thought they'd never end

We'd war and laugh forever and a day

We'd live the life we choose

    We'd fight and never lose

For we were young and sure to have our way

    PEACE OF ASS

Well, the war is concluded!  Congrats to all participants -- and a few final thoughts:

    1.  This seemed like a lot of work for what was essentially and obviously a scheme engineered by @@James Spanier to again try to woo the Red Asses.

LOWSTEN: "C'mon, Walsh -- you KNOW you'd like to MARA!"

    2.  Roll For Initiative has a kick ass logo that certain someone spent literally hours hand-crafting.  li7Dt3GTQpTIkzl0pIsT6k8yY3I9jv7sHT4358EH

Two other ones you may like better that I stumbled upon:

    3. Have to say on the Red Ass front, FTW did a good job of keeping me staggered from day one of the war until the very end. Even when the pressure started getting to them and it went from three to two to one, and they were no longer fully stocked with nukes, they were there like clockwork.

I've been on the other side of these wars, and it gets tedious and difficult to keep up that pressure.  Nice work -- 27 wars without a gap.  It helped that I went 21 days straight without landing a nuke (@$%#  *&%$#@!), while I took 77.  Gonna plug that damn SDI in next time.

    4.  Everybody fought pretty well, but half the fun of wars is witty banter with the enemy.  For my part, I never once got the "Surrender or face blah blah blah..." kind of PM.  Some were particularly sporting to fight and chat with:

    Masterchief (FTW)

    Armpit (FTW)

    Nicholas Strakhov (FTW)

    Smitty256 (FTW)

    iamthey (Argent)

LeggatusEquus (Argent) would respond to any stimulus with "Bee Movie" quotes.  Maybe that's a thing, I don't know, I'm old.

There may have been more, but they are off my war screens now.

    5.  Hats off to the COBRAlition -- good dudes in the Discord Channels and a damn cohesive bunch, which can be rare when you're low on ammo and the whole Bolivian army is outside.  Disagreements were were few and handled with the knowledge that the team came first.  In all honesty, a real pleasure to be a part of, I almost wish more people could have seen how that channel rolled.  Some literate bastards in that group as well.  Anytime, fellas.

    6.   @Lyanna Mormont: With enemies like you, who needs allies? As long as she stays away from those damn matches until that alarm goes off and keeps performing the movements, she's alright by me.

    7.  Finally, a huge thanks to The Gem of the Highlands.   I never once asked for help, but there it was.  Couldn't ask for more, Norwood I want to.

Whew, I've had my priorities wrong for all this time! I can't believe it!

You AND the Truly Unpleasant Mrs. Beloved.  I thought by being a terrible alliance leader I was hitting some middle ground, but the woman just doesn't GET it. Should have done the custom vows, in retrospect. Live and learn, man, live and learn.

    This thread is great.

It has covered everything. Whining, salt, tears, contradiction.

    NPO is evil.

    NPO is the World Police.

    NPO saved FTW.

NPO and IRON splitting up is the only hope of the World surviving.

There are no great players left.

NPO and IRON have a duty to the community.

Even TBB crawled out of his hole to moan about the state of the world.

You are all too lazy, worthless, and pointless to help. You can't even help yourselves by creating your own individual communities to survive in.

You are perpetual children, so wanting to be led by Alliances with culture it is pathetic. Alas, your constant need to shift blame onto everyone but yourselves for the state of the World is of little concern to us.

The great players left because they were tired of you.

Unless we are declaring war on you, we ignore you.

You don't even matter to us.

T.S. Eliot wrote "This is the way the World Ends... not with a bang, but a whimper."

In this case, it will just be your perpetual tantrums and shifting of blame.

You're ALL missing the key three takeaways from this thread:

    1.  General Kanabis has a seemingly endless supply of Bender memes on tap.  Here, Discord, wherever -- there is literally something for every occasion.  Borderline disturbing, but admirable nonetheless.

    2. Joseph Black seems to have lost his sincerity.  I mean, every post for YEARS ended "Sincerely, Joseph Black".  And now they just... stop.  I'm shook, man -- shook.  What's next, Rebel Virginia posting in black?  It's like watching Jordan play for the Wizards.  I could star as a Native Chief in an ati-littering commercial what with this single, silent tear rolling down my cheek.

    3.  Screaming Red Asses got name-dropped by the largest alliance on Planet Bob in the OP!  They said we "weren't rogues".  Granted, that's not the pretty girl taking you home, but hey, she didn't throw me out of the party, either.  Told Mrs. Beloved that this was based on a mixture of respect and fear -- Death Adder if you could back me up on this if she asks, I'd appreciate it. Help a brother out at home, if you know what I mean (nudge nudge, wink wink, say-no-more!).
