[center][img]http://ican.emps-site.com/forums/gallery/1_21_01_10_4_05_10.png[/img] [/center] It has long been the intenetions of the International Coalition of Armed Nations to create a free environment for our members and one way we have done that in the past is to allow tech raiding, which is why I am actually sad to say that we are now abolishing the right for our nations to take part in such actions. We would like to explain why we have taken this right from our members so that no one is confused on our feelings on this matter. It has recently occurred to me that raiding is like a corporation. Like any corporation, there are people in charge or, a board if you will. This board is composed of all of the alliance leaders of all the alliances that allow raiding. again, like any corporation there are workers below the board, in this case these workers are each alliances members. If the board members practice bad work ethics, then the workers below them will also have bad work ethics... a cause and effect scenario. It is our views in ICAN that several of these board members are practicing bad ethics and their workers are also practicing these bad ethics. ICAN feels that because we allow our members the freedom of a raid occasionally that we will be associated with these bad ethics that are practiced because we would be part of this corporation. It is not our views that raiding is wrong but that the way several alliances are allowing it to occur is wrong. Our new raiding policy is as follows: [quote]Article V: Tech Raids No member of ICAN may raid any nation, no matter of rank or status. Any member caught doing so will be punished by the ICAN trial system.[/quote] This policy shall replace our previous policy of: [quote]Article V: Tech Raids Members may only tech raid with the permission of the executive branch. Members are reminded that tech raiding is taken at own risk. Any member of ICAN that is caught raiding a target that was not approved will be punished.[/quote] I suspect that the alliances practicing these bad ethics will attack this topic but, I really do not care. Well, ICAN is looking for a nice merger. Like our motto says, "Others cant but, ICAN!", ICAN practically offer you anything you want and well, the large nations would definitely help ICAN by adding some high NS nations to our semi high NS nations. Not only that but we are looking for members to complete our government. One beneift of being in ICAN is unlimited access to tech deals upon request as we have several alliances on standby just waiting to sell tech to us. While ICAN may be small, we have a huge heart, and refuse to put up with any alliances BS. The good thing about our attitude is that we have GATO at our side to back us up. Though we are only 10 members strong, there is nothing that larger alliances can offer that we cant... Plus, ICAN can offer more. You can expect to be hearing from me and my alliances govt, and I look forward to coming to some sort of a merger agreement. One question, and this is coming from someone who dislikes Echelon, Was it really necessary to try and cover up your members ignorance by insulting Echelon?
