Short, simple, and not so sweet... 72 hours ago, ICAN notified GATO that we would be canceling our protectorate with them. The truth is.. GATO is not the same GATO we used to know so long ago, nor is it the GATO that we signed the ICAN protectorate with just a few months ago. We have come to separate. I have remained quiet on this topic because I didn't want to go and give our plans away, but hell... Its not like all of CN doesn't already know where we stand, by looking at our treaties. I was the first to inform GATO that NSO was about to get a beat down(I was probably the first to know outside of SF), and I was the first to ask them for their support in the campaign against NSO if we were thrown into this through our treaties(And yes, I am stating that we did/do have intentions of rolling the NSO side of this war if it escalates).. therefore, GATO would not be inclined to help the NSO in anyway due to the fact that obviously as CN knows, protectorates are far more important to most alliances, than some screw up MDP partner. While I do NOT condone the actions of GATO for the way that this was handled, as I have told many of them in private channels, I will support my ally as I would support any other ally. I do not, see what the big deal is here to begin with. Obviously, GATO would not have gotten involved in this war for NSO even had the treaty not been voided out. To call GATO and/or her allies idiots over this, just shows that you have no idea of what you are talking about. I am sure this post won't change much, as most of you are to idiotic to know when you are wrong and when to shut up, so please carry on with your miserable lives. That is all.

TENE, let me teach you guys something. Hopefully you will take this knowledge and use it wisely. When you are being bullied politically, as you are now, over war, the best thing you should do is make your point here on the forums and shut up. No point in arguing as it will not do any good.. Just give, or take, your beating and be done with it. I promise you will get more enjoyment out of it.. and in the end won't be butthurt over the general CN bullying. There is a time to respond and a time not to respond. What I am saying is, you are making yourselves look dumb, and weak, by arguing with NSO and its allies. It has been argued and won several times that an AA that merges into another alliance belongs to that alliance.. so as far as I am concerned or anyone else in CN, the SoL AA belongs to MA.. EXACTLY where do you guys have any right at all to raid that AA? Even if it doesn't state that it was protected, it does basically state that the AA is owned by MA.

This means that in this case and similar cases, our compromise position is to let current wars expire, declare no new ones, and put them on our permanent raid immunity list, which is exactly what was offered, along with the [i]suggestion[/i] that the OWF or wiki contain a notice of this.
