No, I don't. Because NPO is a single, coercive force, while being unaligned is just a silly personal choice. Not being raided REQUIRES a coercive force to stop raiders. Not being Pacificowned is simply the natural state of being without a coercive force (NPO)

Can't say I wish for the NPO to become irrelevant, but for better or worse, it will certainly make the game much more interesting.

Getting raided is the normal cost of choosing not to be in an alliance. They are not being "punished" by anyone, they simply don't have the threat of an alliance retaliating to scare off raiders. NPO's protection of the sphere is something exceptional and not organically CN.
