There really is something to be said about preparing for a counter attack, and sending minions to eat your nukes for you. I believe the appropriate action is: Offended nation A attacks Offensive nation B Offensive nation B's allies attack offended nations A. Offended nation A's allies attack Offensive nation B's allies *shrug* just sayin. I think maybe you guys are tired of talking smack about 6 alliances beating our a**es, waiting for a potential counter attack. "baww where are your allies! baww you gots no one protecting you. bawwwwwww. " I haven't seen a post from my government pleading for anyone's help, have you? I mean, I know we're pretty ba over all, and I applaud you on knowing it would take at least 4 alliances to take us on. Edit: Love me some typos!

Unfortunately, planet BOB has always demanded a valid CB for declaring war. Just saying "its going on, discussion closed" doesn't mean that The Coalition Formally Known as Karma is in the clear in doing so. Basically, all the discussion is being thrown around so that Planet Bob can write the Wiki in the appropriately skewed manner. . If anyone doesn't like it, they can feel free to close the forums and just play the dang game.

I haven't heard anyone bawwwing about being called hegemony. Additionally, Karma* isn't attacking The Hegemony*, it is attacking TPF. (And bawwwing about TPF's allies not getting involved) Just a note. I'm sure they did. Which is exactly why all of the TPF nations went into Peace mode before the attack and we had a huge advanced warning . I'm surprised with all the allegations going around that those very communications asking for an explanation from mhawk haven't been posted. OOC: Quick aside, You may want to look into getting firefox, which includes a spell check on free form text fields.

I like how the forces formally known as Karma can "ask" what our allies are doing after 3 days, but you can't "ask" TPF about the allegations brought against us. tee hee.

More interestingly, alliances being called out for not coming to the aid of their allies by the attackers of the original alliance. Truly a unique situation here. Perhaps Karma* should let TPF worry about TPF's allies involvement in the war? *And for the love of... I have a feeling that everyone is saying "Karma" because saying "The loose collections of nations that made a large chunk of karma and has mostly the same alliances as karma, but not the entirety of Karma" is a little bit too cumbersome. Karma is a label describing the relationship between a large number of alliances. The label still mostly fits, so people are using it. If you can't deal with it I'll call a whambulance for you. EDIT: ZOMG I just figured it out: ZH is STILL our spai, and we used them to TRICK Athens into a war so that we could nuke them! BRILLIANT! o/ TPF o/ mhawk o/ Spais hurr.

Now, generally I try to stay out of politics because I haven't the time or energy to keep up with it all, but it really is a shame that when Athens and Ragnarok found out, that mhawk was so defiant and belligerent about what happened and refused to talk about it. huur. If this were ACTUALLY about the events that happened in July, this would have been a diplomatic matter. Most likely a public outing of the events, deploring mhawk, blah blah blah, reps demanded, blah blah blah, public humiliation, blah blah blah, TPF is teh Sux0r etc. Don't get me wrong, I like wars as much as the next guy (as does the rest of TPF), and can respect a healthy planet bob conflict. If you are going to declare war on an alliance without a CB because you don't like them, more power to you. But seriously guys. Surprise attacking a smaller opponent, for something that actually didn't happen't 6 months ago (which in internet time is like 15 years) doesn't make you the victim. I think many on planet bob see through this unimpressive and rather bland facade for what it is: Some Grade A warmongering . Disclaimer: Non government and uninformed.

Definitely interesting. Has anyone else posted that 6 months on the Internets is a long freaking time? The idea was pretty insane to begin with, but actually pretty epic.
