  1. Always a good sign that the world needs its war...
  2. I happen to agree it would make us hypocrites. I also happen to think that these days being a hypocrite would only help us to fit in a little bit. I'm not contesting the link, merely the implications/importance of the implications there pal. With that said I'm not going to talk about what stance I personally want TOP to take out here - thats a matter for alliance discussions, not that it will stop anyone from making presumptions.
  3. Hypocrites these days seem to come a dime a dozen.
  4. Congrats on the treaty. Good to see that NpO will maintain its friendship with NSO. Also definately an interesting day in the world of Polaris.
  5. Its sad to see a major player that added a lot to the game dissolve like this, but I'm confident that all of the alliances formerly comprising will have continued successes in a post Frostbite world.
  6. I'm confused as to why the attempts to instigate conflict between NSO/TOP referenced in the second part give NSO a valid CB and not TOP. Interesting.
  7. It's certainly an interesting new era on red, but its good to see NPO will be doing everything they can for the sphere now that its opened.
  8. Potentially. But whereas GPA got rocked pretty hard in their only fight ever (even given the circumstances), NpO/TOP have performed extremely well historically through a fairly sizeable number of conflicts, but your point is valid. -End of derail
  9. I'm not denying you're an awesome force to be reckoned with - but as far as battle tested (recently) alliances are concerned its probably you or Gramlins. I think that TOP/NpO could both possibly be better but neither has been battle tested recently so its hard to say for sure. Also pro use of the smug.
  10. Not anymore anyways. The jilted lover will take only so much.
  11. I feel this sums up my sentiments well; I do think the OWF would be a friendlier/better place if there was more of Feanor, Bodvar Jarl, Walker Ninja, etc. posting.
  12. Few points on this: 1) TOP was one of the primary movers on the war against NpO/BLEU - not to be confused with the travesty that was the Hyperion/GR conflict happening in tandem. 2) TOP being the one more aggressive in this situation makes no sense. If/When they come in they'll be pretty heavily outnumbered and outgunned even at the top ranks (depending on who else activates and how escalation ocurrs naturally) so 'starting' the war makes no sense for that side 3) TOP couldn't start it (at the higher ranks, but doing so at lower ranks would be suicide) if they wanted to because all the targets their war mode nations can hit are in peace mode with only a few exceptions. Not saying the inverse isn't also true but this still hampers the ability to 'start' things 4) Since when is this about TOP? The overtness of some of the posters involved on the Athens/RoK side about IRON and TOP doesn't jive with the need for justice from spying - if all you wanted was to punish them for spying you'd be happy - discourse like this makes it exceptionally clear what this war was really intending to achieve. Sorry for the derail...
  13. Haha well I can agree to that. You're nothing if not reasonable.
  14. I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. MK's military is great and all but I can think of a couple that are better.
  15. Mreh. I've always associated you with Sparta my bad.
  16. Sparta always struck me as the standout non-combatant combatant in Karma. The Number of large nations in your alliance doing nothing about the similarly large number of open NPO slots is somewhat revealing
  17. Congrats guys. 3 years is quite the accomplishment these days. Looks like R&R is a little older than me, and I consider myself an old-timer...
  18. Complaining about stagger screw ups and stealing slots? Are you kididng me? You moan with one breath that we joined the war late, yet in the other that we're stealing all your slots? Please tell me you see the contradiction here. Those slots were unfilled after 2-3 days and guess what, we actually did stagger properly. The only screwed up staggers that I saw were when other people jumped in on the TOP rush and took the last slot during the blitz before update. I would also mention that at one point 3 of the top 5 NS losers for the week were TOP targets, and guess what, 2 of them were in Echelon. In my own personal experience we managed to knock off 40k from our target within 5 days without using nukes, 40k that our friends in RnR and Halsa didn't have to worry about letting them get on with their other wars.
  19. You deserve eachother, something about dancing on graves. Am I doing it right? Congrats, I'm glad to see a good friendship developing
  20. http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...Nation_ID=29470 http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...Nation_ID=84186 http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...?Nation_ID=5394 http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...Nation_ID=90642 Theres an interesting sample size for you. NPO has 4 100k NS nations come out of peace mode 3-4 days ago (making them the 4 strongest for NPO in the war), more than half of the wars their in are aggressive ones declared by NPO, and you'll notice not a single Sparta nation on any of them (despite the fact that 40% of the nations 100k NS plus in alliances at war with NPO are in Sparta).
  21. I never managed to get a slot against you guys but I think the general alliance consensus was that it was a pleasurable experience.
