  1. Hail Athens, and the glorious Hierophant who has brought in so many new people
  2. Best of luck to you IRAN, I know you'll do well. I miss him too
  3. Ok, the Agricultural Development Program I'm using my land values, I'm aware they're not the requirements, just humor me I have: Area of Influence: 700.518 mile diameter. 349.798 in purchases, 106.373 in modifiers, 244.347 in growth Let's just call it 700. Does that mean that 700 x .2 = 140 -> I get 140 extra citizens because of my land, and if I had ADP, I would instead get 350 extra citizens?
  4. Rsox is a hater cause he's jealous of my awesome OWF threads. If you saw what I do for Londo at night via query, you would know that he's my sugardaddy and has my back (among other things) Pardon my zinger!
  5. I would lobby for the application to be accepted. I wonder if the head of recruitment or FA would have more pull with IA?
  6. This is the opinion I have of the ZI sentence. After reading this fellow's posts, I find it hard to believe that he could piece together a coherent sentence, much less run a meaningful poaching operation. If you can poach a king of Sparta for your alliance, then perhaps you have some skill. If your member is just going to other alliances saying "omg dude u shuld totaly join us" then it's time to just lol and kick him out for being a dumbass. This thread is meaningless postulation, self-aggrandizement, and tech/land farming for your members. If this is how you do business, then I hear that NPO is seeking out new allies.
  7. Hello, Ogaden.. it's been a while since I was your squad leader in NPO. I hope you've been doing well in battle. o/ Beta Bashers Surely you do not wish to deprive us of the entertainment that was TWiP? I was largely neutral after leaving NPO, but the Srs McSrs actions of NPO when juxtaposed against the sexy and funny threads and exploits of Blackstone Collusion and the non-Doitzel members of Vox (Electron Sponge ) made it a clear choice. What has NPO done for me lately? Got butthurt about this and that, bric and brac, get over yourselves. How about a nice cup of chillax, and enjoy the game Instead of plotting your revenge, you can join the world community, not as the overlords, not as the global despots, but as a freakin' member like the rest of us. And yah, Athens is bombtight, and they iz like omgsileath
  8. Oh no, a spy! Egad.. Spying is like poaching, it's part of the game. Get over the epic faux outrage ffs.
  9. Sorry, you need two matching resources to be included. Both of you only have one matching resource.
  10. All I want from NPO is an apology for !@#$@#$ up ONOS.
  11. Hate temp trading? Then get the resource set that has it all! Aqua only! Gold - emilu7z Silver Gems Coal Wine Furs Gems Aluminum - emilu7z Marble Iron Lumber Wheat If we wanted uranium, it would be listed here
  12. Poaching is not a moral issue. BradenB, once you're done with your ZI sentence, you're more than welcome to join Athens.
  13. How about you give me your nation link, then I'll really give you a reason to need aid.
  14. Congratulations to our good friends in DE on this.
  15. Congratulations to both parties on this treaty. With FIRE's expert FA team, it's not surprising they're making great friends. o/ FIRE o/ VE
  16. Be my guest to enlighten us as to the truth concerning this matter.
  17. TPF was being a good ally during the negotiations. TPF is not the alliance which attacked OV prior to the ending of negotiations. I'm pretty sure you can log dump any kind of negotiations from any alliance where you could point out that someone was intimidating someone else. Recall that at this time, TWiP was posting screenshots from the tC government forums. Do you blame mhawk for wanting to see if he could crack that nut? The folly was not in the negotiation nor in mhawk/TPF's involvement in such, but the dishonorable way in which NPO and TORN distracted OV's government while they ran their blitz.
  18. NPO and TPF are in very different positions in this war in my perspective. NPO (along with TORN) started this war, so they should get big reps to pay. TPF, involved due to their alliance with NPO, is representing the Karma value of friends before infrastructure. I don't know how in good conscience reparations could be expected from TPF when no reps were required from so many other alliances who bowed out of the war early to save their infrastructure.
  19. You mean Jack's Disco? Hahaha I have to check my sanity at the door before I go in there.
  20. (I'm going to get in trouble for saying this) TPF is going to have to pay reparations? Are you !@#$@#$ kidding me?
  21. In my few short months in the cyberverse, I have never seen a more honorable and stoic leader, unwavering in class and dignity in the face of enormous odds against him. I salute you mhawk o7
  22. Here's a tl;dr "We thought NPO was going to do the dishonorable thing and screw us, so we decided to be clever and pre-empted their dishonor with our own cowardice, and in the process screwed over all our allies and got their nations blown to hell in a war we started." )):
  23. As the Athens ambassador to RIA, I'm happy to see that our embassy is still truckin'. See Jgoods, I do !@#$ sometimes
  24. That does not excuse the multitude of other treaties that TORN had with other alliances who became involved in the war, including TPF. Essentially, TORN got NPO to start the war and used NPO's attempt to negotiate a peace to back out, leaving the rest of tC/1V to take an $@!-kicking because they, especially TPF, understand what it means to be an ally. As soon as the DoWs started coming in on NPO's allies, TORN could have used NPO's actions to say that they weren't going to support the offensive front on OV and instead concentrate on the defense of their allies who were being declared on by OV's allies. That, however, would have taken some semblance of honor. TORN has chosen to hide in a cave for the duration of these events, a true fair-weather friend.
  25. Quoted for truth! This is the reason why I will always respect TPF, with the !@#$ they've put up with for this war (which they didn't start) and getting their nations blown to hell - for what? Because they understand - friends before infra. They don't have the same friends as me but that's ok - I can recognize honor from across the battle lines, and TPF is probably one of the most upstanding alliances around. TORN, on the other hand.. enjoy your alliance strength.. unfortunately I don't think there is much honor to accompany it.
