If you had to choose, would you rather be a communist or a scientologist?

5k tech at 100 tech for 3 mil is $150,000,000. Also, my alliance gave an estimate based off of damages received and what we came up with was not set in stone, as I told quite a few people. Perhaps people should wait until the talks are done before you throw a hissy fit.

I may not agree with you often in the Boiler Room (doubt you noticed.. I lurk more than I post), but you are an intelligent man. And, not for the first time, I find myself agreeing with what you said here.
I always believed "To the victor goes the spoils". We fight for our allies and/or what we believe in. Everyone who declares should realize that if they lose, they would have to pay for that loss in reps.
That doesn't mean that I like seeing harsh terms set on an alliance. Personally, I'd ask 1.5x the damage my alliance received. Some in my alliance may not agree, but we all have our opinions. The whole 'white peace' thing is setting up a horrible standard for CN and it could cause trouble in the future.
For example: "Who cares about friends or politics if we know we'll get away scot-free in the end".
Reps in wars is a good way of distinguishing the true friends from the fake.

Yes, I'm spouting off the party line. You can see the strings MK is controlling me with if you look hard enough.
I'm pretty sure I and my alliance have no power. I have no desire to have any; all I really want out of the Cyberverse is for most people to leave me alone.
Strings? You and I both know that the Brigade is a splinter alliance formed by the MK and that our allies were chosen to further strengthen MKs position in the Cyberverse.
Good blog, though. The second part of what I quoted is true and I think applies to the Brigade as a whole pretty well. We don't like causing drama, don't care to participate in drama, but we do like a good war when it comes around. And once the war ends, everyone will forget we were even there.

Hey, I never tried to recruit anybody! And you know you guys like the spam. I'd like to add that you guys have sent us some great diplomats and have quite a few members I enjoy talking to.

No worries, Adrian. She said she approved when I last saw her.
