Hmm, have you changed? Really? I still don't see you guys doing anything, nor have I over the past year. This, along with a lack of any coherent theme (praising cupcakes.. isn't that what you do to be bad@$$), seems to symbolize that you haven't really changed all that much. Feel fortunate that enlightened critics have posted here, two pages for a formerly "sanctioned" alliance.. 'nuff said.

Respectfully to both You and Fran, Its not the charter that binds an alliance to a community but the fun; why else do we enjoy Bob? Charters that are too concise or serious take much of the joy out of a place or may even alienate some members when dispute over interpretation develops. An open-ended, expressive and adaptable origin parchment would better allow for fun and less confrontational community because the alliance would always illustrate the desires of the majority; an avenue of change through the meritocratic vote and universality would make it unstoppable.

I don't mean to seem like I'm trolling or anything, so please don't take this as that. But, being once on the inside and now on the outside, its given me an interesting perspective on the NADC. You guys are great people, no doubt about it, but the fact that the NADC has never really done anything of significance matters more to most folks. So much potential once long ago, but never realized.. even when sanctioned it wasn't much more than a nation building program combined with waiting while other people beat each other up and than standing there. There's the guys who look for fights, than the guys who fight some sort of cause, than there's the NADC; with the reputation of just standing there and trying to look cool.

Q. So what's the jif? 13 is not lulz based or serious business; it is about having fun and competing on Bob. Our members can tech raid, be peaceful, forum active or simply just check their nations every other week; really, the amount of time you want to put in is up to you. Many alliances make day to day operations seem like chores, we don't do that. Recruit the way you want, operate your nation the way you choose, we're so confident in our nation building program that we've removed all the bureaucratic bs that other alliances hold on to. Q Only 13 members? That's a common illusion about our namesake. We chose the number 13 because of the olde nickname given to the original colonies by their frontier neighbors.. many first nations called the original states the "Thirteen Fires". I see where you guys are coming from and, after thinking about it, you're right; it had its place in time and the fact that FAN still maintains so much respect for them really says a lot.

Alright, all this Halloween stuff has made me reminisce about the time Blue had penguins and polar bears wrestling around. I know GR still does da bear but when is somebody from the arctic going to finally remake NAAC?!?!? Think of the fun!

I loll'ed! On a serious and somewhat aside note though, have those GC folks felt that the no trade bonus has had a minimal or big impact on their growth and development over the last few years?
