  1. Please answer the previous question; would this result in war in both scenarios?
  2. Would you declare war in both scenarios? EDIT: We're not referred to as GLoF anymore, we're known as Masons instead; the word GLoF makes phlegm.
  3. So you will declare war on anyone who admits a victim of this policy as a member, thus aggressively influencing and inhibiting the recruitment, than growth, of other alliances and initiating an aggressive war against the affected defending alliance you attack. I look forward to seeing this policy in-action, won't it get lonely down there?
  4. So if the Grand Lodge of Freemasons decides to accept a nation as a member that is at war with you than you wouldn't do anything about it?
  5. This is a new world we live in; everything has been changing. Once, not long ago, EZI/PZI were virtually universal; today they aren't. While there is no doubt that the standard of not accepting members at war will remain universal, there is also no doubt that prohibiting another alliance from accepting a new member will come back to bite you.. especially when the grounds of your assertion lay with the purpose of a tech-raid beat down and your own recruitment initiative. See that line? That's a whole mess of grey area right there that you haven't addressed in this thread. I appreciate that you guys aren't diplomatic but remember that the majority of Bob is. Plans? I thought it was pretty illustrative of the fake "revelation" that miraculously brought about GOONs sincere intention to not do things like the old GOONs.
  6. My bad, was really thinking of on top as in Pacifica the last few years.. not statistically.. but in that regard you're right with the numbers (was for a few months I think)..
  7. Heh. Unlike you, I was around back than and we weren't "dominated". GOONs cozied up to the big guys, those same guys who turned on them and still don't like them, who got sick of GOON stupidity like actions such as this one. That alliance was never on top, just very vocal; bullying smaller alliances (ie FARK, Sparta) while sucking the teet of Pacifica after FAN went psychopathic. When the milk went sour, you guys.. erm, those guys folded like a house of cards. Its not a threat; its a political reality. The masses are willing to put up with fair tech-raiding but the second you guys cross-the-line, yet again, and intentionally interfere with other alliance's (read all other alliances admission of applicants.. EDIT @ Sardonic; you failed to edit your post quick enough, its pretty clear what you're up to now.. thanks. Talk to you soon..
  8. Where to begin.. Do you even realize what you are saying? A veiled threat of a goonrush scares no one; we chased your ilk off of Bob over your actions once before, why wouldn't it happen again? Erm, I hate to point this out in the face of e-lawyering but any announcement your government makes affects your current members.. especially one where you get them involved in issues that don't concern them such as unaligned conflict. This is where your argument deconstructs. With this announcement, you are getting involved in affairs that have nothing to do with GOONland security; that, combined with your insistence on punishing the tech-raided who fight back by providing assistance means that the majority of the Cyberverse, who are bigger than you, may just decide to ignore whether or not your alliance is at war with an applicant. You can cry victim, like you guys always do, but you're pushing toward this and have done this to yourselves. Be nice to our AZTEC brothers in Nueva Vida, his weight carries more influence than you are obviously aware of and your ignorance of the War of the Coalition is very illustrative.
  9. LOL def was my fault man, I'm having a Lebowski-moment. And the post above this one is very wise; good way to put it, penguin.
  10. Just read the GOWAB bit; now if THAT is why you guys are saying "nuke rogue" than you're justified.
  11. How, for the sake of all that is sane and rational, would nuking the aggressor be considered going "rogue"? What is this pillar that some deem to think of themselves as standing on? If you are tech-raided, nuke the hell out of em; you are doing nothing wrong by defending yourself. If that person goes to get his/her buddies, you go get an alliance; like us.
  12. LMAO!!! That would pass in my books haha! Different Lodges have different concepts but the theme is always inclusiveness; we don't care who you believe in so long as you are accepting of others. The Grand Lodge of Freemasons, however, is not affiliated with any specific Lodge or spiritual denomination; we simply strive to become better men and rulers.
  13. To clarify what my noble brother has said, The Grand Lodge of Freemasons does employ a Masonic Hand of Mercy and has used it since our conception. While we are amongst the few who have earned success completely without a protectorate, Masons have a keen understanding of the perils of unsolicited extended raiding; with that being said, I am particularly referencing the prohibition of enabling a defender to fight back and am not referencing standard raiding between two nations in honorable combat. We use the Hand of Mercy with sincere diplomacy to deescalate unwarranted attacks; extended tech-raiding, however, is much too close to ZI or PZI in my humble opinion. I am neither a Council member nor spokesperson, those words are my own; they are, however, spoken from the lips of one of the Lodge founders.
  14. Two things.. I don't see anything wrong with raiding but it is a slippery slope since, as somebody already mentioned, eventually if a victim counterattacks its going to lead to the reestablishment of permazi. So, be careful; from what I've already seen, these GOONs are very close to reimplementing some of the policies which had a previous alliance called GOONS chased from Bob.. nature has a way of correcting itself. However, if one alliance chooses to support the tech-raided its only right for another alliance to support the tech-raider. Two hemispheres in the Cyberverse again, anyone? At least the next few months appear as though they will be entertaining.
  15. This is terrific! Thank you for your contribution to the betterment of Bob!
  16. You're doing it wrong. Look, its easy to make treaties; its hard to find good treaty partners. Go on IRC and get to know others, than you'll see your fortunes improve. Good luck! I know starting out isn't easy; I commend you on your courage.
