The people who reformed VE were all in the original VE, and it had support from the vast majority of those who'd been in VE when it disbanded. Completely different to this.

I'm a big fan of international "say what you feel" week.

Sixteen in the clip, and one in the whole, Ronin is (presumably) about to make some bodies turn cold.

If we stop talking about war, specifically who would beat who, we might have a better chance of making some friends here. No big deal, just saying.

You ought to start reading. Or maybe you are reading, but you're ignoring what you read because it doesn't fit your agenda? For the last time, what was implied was that if any Purple alliances DID attack us over something as trivial as the senate (and after a nice talk with Purple leaders in IRC, I don't see that as remotely likely), we'd have the support necessary to survive.

At the moment, the majority of Purple seems to be fairly ok with the idea of us moving there, and with their blessing, I'd prefer Purple myself. I'm not ruling anything out, though.

The only screenshot that is worth mentioning is the one that could be read as "Stickmen will use our allies to ensure we get a senate seat no matter the cost [to the rest of Purple]". First of all, I don't think it was intended to read like that; I know Iosif well enough to know he's an intelligent guy, and that he knows iFOK, and indeed Stickmen, policy*. Second, even if the post were meant that way, it is from one guy, a middle-government member of one of four Stickmen alliances, and not indicative of our aims or policy. * Let me just clarify that policy for everyone; Stickmen are not so desperate to get a senate seat that we would attack someone just for holding the seat that we desire; furthermore, we would certainly not request outside assistance from our allies in order to do so. However, we are interested in moving to Purple. We had hoped to keep that private for now, since we had not yet made our final decision, but there it is. We are a quiet bloc, though, and we keep ourselves to ourselves for the most part, so I can't really give any guarantee that we would join any of the Purple economic blocs. Regardless, we will make an effort to integrate ourselves into Purple if we do move there.

Oh good. This "CIS" was an embarassment to the name of the former CIS and I'm happy to see it die. Feel free to query me whenever you like, EarlMcMann, I do so love to gloat. Edit: Corinan, might not want to use the plural "active members".

Point taken, but it's one screenshot, and it doesn't exactly say that Purple is not unified, only that it's not the most unified sphere. The thing about "realpolitik", I don't know enough to comment on with any certainty, but at first glance it seems that Purple has a lot of fairly similar minded alliances, who are very much intertwined politically. I don't see a lot of realpolitik there.

Thank you, Flonker. I'm also wondering why anyone thinks that iFOK believes Purple is not unified. Those screenshots gave me the opposite (and presumably correct) impression. Be honest, it's a real stretch to say that anything in those shots, which are obviously cherry picked, show that iFOK or Stickmen as a whole are intending on being a problematic entity on Purple. Other than the fact that iFOK would not join PEACE or Poseidon or whatever Purple bloc was mentioned.

Good job, choice picking one quote that could be portrayed as making iFOK's intentions look bad, and ignoring everything else. As someone who knows what is going on, I assure you we're not intending to break the unity of any sphere that we do decide to move to. I hope that, should we move to Purple, the alliances already on Purple will be able to overlook the ignorant ramblings of a spy, and welcome us as friends. We are not interesting in causing conflict.
