1.
We have the capacity just no desire.
Sure, and that makes your war ability null. Nations in WTF want to be neutral. They don't want to fight. Regardless of whether they may have stockpiles of tech or not, they are a member of WTF (or GPA or whatever) because they do not want to fight. Were WTF to be mass declared upon tomorrow, you can bet your ass a ton of surrenders would pop up real quick because these are nations with no desire to fight. I'm sure a few would put up a decent fight, but it would be like a trained military force storming a hippie commune. No matter how big the hippies are, they're not going to stand against those who have been fighting for years while they chilled out in neutrality.
 2.
Why would anyone post their treaty cancelation?
To inform the world who your current allies are. It's kinda self explanatory. I think not announcing treaties and cancellations is absolutely ridiculous. Treaties are a huge portion of how the politics of this world function. Announcing treaty updates is part of that system. You really can't function as a legitimate political entity without working within the established system. Hell, FAN and NoR didn't even have a treaty as they canceled on us publicly. I think the whole world was better for it.
 3.
I am amused that just because The World Task Force doesn't fight you people think we can't.
If you do not allow your nations to wage war, your war ability is zero. That's just the way it works.
 4. I can confidently say that the Reich would not be where it is today without the leadership of Nemhauser. And Zepp is an evil tyrant. Dark days to come my friends.
 5.
Cybernations Wars: Press a button and compare stats. Not a real war.
Snap. I certainly didn't think we'd break the top 15.
 6.
This is less complaining, more of a public notice to prevent anyone from beginning those rumors that the alliances in question are being held in war.
That's fair I suppose. Just seems a bit early in the war/peace process to be throwing up your hands in frustration or looking to placate the masses.
 7. I think some people have forgotten how this whole surrender and peace terms thing works. Even if you are numerically victorious, the defeated is not obliged to agree or comply with your terms. They can choose to stay at war. If they choose war, give it to them. What is all the complaining about? If you're winning and they want you to keep winning all over their face, continue. Seriously.
 8.
As for the balance of your comments, let's get back to my first post in this thread...there is a reason that I rate TPF as 'good' and Nordreich as 'elite'.
And you were right to do so good sir. I'm just calling it how I see it.
Flinders has hated us for going on 4 years now. He's not going to give us credit for anything.
I don't know about that. If you actually did something politically or militarily relevant/impressive I'd give you props. I'm pretty good about that. Hell, I'll even give props to LSF for sticking in there and I was one of the people working hardest for their eradication at the time. And any hate I have for TPF is well earned.
 9.
We haven't screwed anybody over. The sitting government of TGECN is actually making sure that nobody gets screwed over. I'm not entirely sure why there's so much confusion on this point, except that people are focusing on Flinders' post rather than on the ramifications of the OP.
I highly doubt people are getting hung up on my post. It was vague and largely uninformed. Mostly because that's where I stand on the subject due to the fact that I'm neither involved on any level with TGE (which is on purpose mind you) nor am I Nordreich government. The OP is most likely to blame for any confusion.
 10. I'm not sure why you decided to adopt and modify one of my past announcements for this. It made reading the announcement terribly awkward. I do wish you would have at least asked first. I'm not claiming copyright or anything, it's just really creepy. I'll be keeping a close eye on this TGE because if I'm reading this all right, I'm not much of a fan.
 11.
Everything you say about TPF could be true. In my observation however when you stick them in the line of battle you do so knowing they aren't going to break and run. This frees up other forces who otherwise might have to be sent in to back up TPF elsewhere. On the other hand, there have been times they stayed well past the point that sensible alliances would have thrown in the towel--that has caused them permanent damage through the years through lost members.
I can stick a boulder in the middle of your yard and no matter how many times you punch it, I have confidence that the boulder will not surrender. That does not mean the boulder has more fighting capability than you do. This also frees my forces to engage your beer fridge in the garage. But this does not make the boulder a master strategist. If you want to credit TPF with heart, go for it. I for one don't buy it, but you could make the argument. But the argument for military capability is just not there.
 12.
That's missing the point. Fighting under certain kinds of duress are something entirely unknown to even some (caveat, not all,) of those people here are considering "top elite," military forces... and yet we're comparing apples and oranges anyway. Ah well.
No, you're really, really missing the point. Regardless of whether or not an alliance has been tested to their breaking point, we can still reasonably assess and compare military capabilities. Fighting on the bottom end of extreme numbers for extended periods is not some mysterious deal breaker. Believe me, I've been there. Even though Umbrella, for example, hasn't faced a beatdown like TPF did, I can confidently say that Umbrella is more militarily capable than TPF. Whether Umbrella's brand of military preparedness has actually overshot the rest of the world is another debate altogether. When I was in NoV, we were declared on by The Continuum itself. Sure, not all of the alliances actually participated in the beat-down but I'd say roughly 60% of tC alliances had some helping hand in that war. Does that mean that NoV was the military equivalent of 60% of the Continuum? Of course not. That's stupid. Don't be stupid.
 13. Mjolnir announcement actually almost won? Go figure. By all accounts, this years awards were a mess.
 14.
Alliances like TPF would rate extremely high for their size because of their stubbornness and willingness to stand and die for principles.
I have to disagree with you completely here. Just because an alliances claims to fight for something does not automatically mean that they know how to fight. TPF has never really been impressive to me in their military prowess. I've never caught myself saying "nicely done" to anything TPF has ever done. And let's not forget that TPF has not always been a bastion of honor and dignity. What they did with their little slice of power during their peak wasn't really anything to be proud of. And now they're kinda just background noise.
 15.
Poor: Nordreich^^, The Legion**, Mostly Harmless Alliance*
Heh, no. I could go into detail as to the strengths and weaknesses of Nordreich military/econ system (our econ boys don't get enough credit mind you) but there is no way that our military could be considered poor. We take on a high damage output/receive stance in every single war. Whether that's the best strategy or not is obviously debatable but that's just how we've done it up to this point. Our military preparedness (if not the result) is easily one of the best in the game as displayed by our stellar blitz in every war we've fought. /mini rant
 16.
You know, it's never appealing to admit weakness, but we really did need NoR last war. It wasn't pretty in our middle tier with NPO throwing everything up to and including the kitchen sink at it.
I was going to mention something in regards to NPO's mid tier as well. It was a sonofa!@#$%*. It was quite interesting to see the multiple alliances engaged with NPO taking on pretty specific roles in that war.
 17.
So stop bringing it up. Do you think I enjoy pointing out your truthiness deficiencies? I do not. I like NoR, but I like the truth more. The situation was your own fault, schtop whining.
It's ridiculous if you actually feel that way, but do what you feel is best. I simply brought it up for context. I'm certainly not looking to debate the subject.
 18.
It's already been made crystal clear that FAN thought more of NoR's character than NoR was able to deliver, but thank you.
Now now Schatt, you're projecting. If anyone, anywhere thought that NoR would do FARK any favors come wartime then that speaks more to the intelligence of those people than the character of NoR.
Fark's moves were the result of NoR's disinterest in self-regulating, and until you stop blaming other people, you will continue to face this same issue over and over again.
And I'm certainly not going over this garbage again. Nor do I need to.
 19.
This thread is deeply wrong, but NoR bending over backwards to attack their ally's ally is not. What do you propose FAN should have said to NoR?
First off, FAN was not our ally. Which would be why this announcement is not a cancellation. We had, as it has always been referred to, a gentleman's agreement. That's just how FAN does business and it worked fine for us. Obviously FAN doesn't like how it stands as of now, so it's done. These things happen. Secondly, after the crap FARK pulled against us, sending a couple nations here and there to help out in the larger war effort was not that much of a stretch for us.
 20.
SF lose in the battlefield but after all the hatred and harsh terms promises towards them and mainly towards GOD/Xiphosis, this terms represents a huge political victory for them, so congrats guys.
Man, I usually give you the benefit of the doubt but this is just straight up dumb.
 21.
Message: You have been attacked by Captain Flinders. You lost 950 soldiers and 95 tanks. You killed 959 soldiers and 84 tanks. Their forces razed 9.328 miles of your land, stole 4.232 technology, and destroyed 20.177 infrastructure. Their forces looted $323,029.79 from you and you gained $0.00 in your enemy's abandoned equipment. In the end the battle was a Defeat. Any existing peace offers that were on the table have been automatically canceled. technically you could say i paid you reps?
My short war with you was by far the most bizarre of them all. I won battles I should have lost and lost battles I should have won. But if we're keeping track, your lack of warchest made my victories minimally profitable. You still owe. I will be sending my boys over to collect. That or break your thumbs.
 22.
Now now, your ilk should know more than anyone that crushing reps isn't really a good way to handle business.
"My ilk" were not afforded the courtesy of reps when we lost our war. I am not in favor of crushing reps, and I'm not going to get into a reps talk here, but I was in favor of reps as part of the peace terms from the start. Alas, it was not meant to be.
 23.
Wait, does that mean that the only reason NoR would join in one pre-empt but not the other is because you hate FARK?
I don't know if that was the actual reason, but if it was, it's certainly good enough for me.
