  1. Yeah Adrian I watched the game. It just reiterated what I said. Boise State may not be as good as Auburn, but on the biggest stage, they win. The Nevada game was not a big stage. Boise looked like it underestimated Nevada, and they got burned for it.

But no one can hate on Boise State for not playing anyone. No one will agree to play them because they know they will be embaressed.

Then after the season is over we dont get to see how good they are because the BCS always puts them against another non AQ if at all possible.

Ever since Boise State embaressed Oklahoma they havent played a bowl game against an AQ school.

  2. @memoryproblems

I didnt think Boise State or TCU deserved to be in the national championship game. I think alot would have to go right for TCU to go undefeated playing Auburn or Oregon's schedule, just as alot had to go right for both teams to finish their schedules undefeated.

With Boise State in monster games, all the stats can be thrown away. They have shown time and time again in the one game situation, they can beat any team.

This is not the NBA Playoffs. If Auburn and Boise State played in a 7 Game Series I would pick Auburn to win four of the games.

But, I would pick Boise to beat Oregon and Auburn because they come up big on big stages. Boise has shown they can beat teams better than them because it is football so therefore they are only playing once. Im not saying Boise State is better than either team or deserves to be in the BCS national title game, but they would beat them in one game.

    @Feanor

Boise State would accept an invite to the any of the AQ conferences in a second. Not to mention no one will play Boise State on the blue turf.

  3. Incidentally, the Heat are apparently looking very closely into signing Derek Fisher.

Yeah, with the signing of Steve Blake it looks like Fish is going to leave the Lakers. If that happens, Derek Fisher is going to have himself quite a ring collection. He already has 5 rings and will just add to that total if not next year, then in the next 5 year the Superfriends are in Miami.

I have to agree, the only thing I didnt like about Lebron leaving was how he left. It was a stupid decision but I have to attribute that more to stupid people around Lebron James than Lebron himself.

I believe ESPN said they came to Lebron Jame's entourage with the idea, so it was ESPN's idea, not Lebron's.

  4. i will still be surprise if Lebron leaves the cavs. the cavs have shown that they are willing to trade and deal for good players. also a pairing of Lebron and D wade will NOT work. they both need the ball alot in there hands witch wont work well. still some good rumors on a sign and trade of bosh to LA lakers

But I think everyone outside of Cleveland and Chicago would love to see a Miami Heat team with Lebron, Wade, and Bosh. If those three guys care about winning they might all go to Miami but that is highly unlikely. Im not saying it would work and Im not saying they could beat the Lakers in the NBA finals, but heres what the Heat line up would look like then...

    PG Mario Chalmers

    SG Dwyane Wade

    SF Lebron James

    PF Michael Beasley

    C Chrish Bosh

  5. I'm going to go on a limb here and say you really don't know much about either NFL or College Football. As an avid Jaguars fan, I can tell you right now we won't be picking Aaron Kampman. Actually, being a Jags fan has nothing to do with it. Kampman has been in the NFL for...7 years now and is a free agent pick-up the Jags made after his contract with Green Bay ended.

As well, our head office will NOT be trading down for CJ Spiller. If Spiller falls to us, we'll pick him because he'll be the probable best available player. I'd expect us to draft either Pierre-Paul, DE out of USF, or Sean Lee, MLB out of Penn State. Rolando McClain is also a possible if he falls to us.

And to make a point, I truly hope Spiller DOES fall to us, because that is a great opportunity for us to trade down and pick up some more draft picks. He has excellent value and SOMEONE will want to move up to pick him.

Woops, my mistake. I was reading an article about Aaron Kampman and I typed his name instead of DE Jason Pierre Paul. I actually do know a bit about the NFL and CJ Spiller would be a good pick. The Jaguars need ticket sales, and a game breaker like Spiller will put people in the stands.

  6. i think it gets alot tougher after this, van hoo, but here is my 8-12. Feel free to disagree, it is very hard to project after a certain point what team is doing what.

    8. Raiders- OT Bruce Campbell

    9. Buffallo Bills- OT Trent Williams

10.Jaguars- DE Jason Pierre- Paul (though i think they will trade down and get CJ Spiller)

    11.Broncos- ILB Rolando McClain

    12.Dolphins- NT Dan Williams

  7. I obviously hate the Eagles being a Redskins fan, but that doesnt cloud my judgement about how good they are. I didnt like them to get to the Super Bowl last year because unlike all the experts, I didnt fall in love with them because of one win in Dallas. This year is a very different story, as I am actually sold on the Eagles :). They might not make the playoffs, but they will do better than the Redskins.

I loled when you said the Saints would do well. In a stacked NFC South, do you really expect them to have a better record than the Falcons or Panthers? Not to mention, the last two Super Bowls have proved defense wins championships, not record breaking passing games. The last two pass happy teams- the Patriots and Cardinals lost in the Super Bowl

The NFC is very good this year, just wait for it.
