I know it would be tough to make the move with how many other more pressing areas of need the Pats had, but I really would have liked to see Taylor Mays in a Pats uniform. That being said, I think they really slam dunked their draft this season. McCourty could end up being the best corner from this draft class and could start right away. Gronkowski will be a good balanced TE, and Hernandez was a steal in the 4th round and could develop into an elite pass catcher. Can't say enough about the Florida LBs in the 2nd round, I think having a bad combine allowed someone like Spikes to slip from the mid first round into their laps at the end of the 2nd and next to Mayo and with Cunningham on the outside, the 3-4 is back.

yeah goldie, the patriots always seem to pick up great guys late in the draft. If a player is drafted by the patriots, they know they did something right.
